Hawaiian Bros.' manager returned my call and offered to replace my whole order (not just the part that was not included) if we could come to the restaurant. Excellent customer service. I enjoyed the Huli Huli wrap. The chicken tasted fresh and the pineapples complemented the other flavors. When we visited the establishment, I opted for the Molokai Wrap. This chicken was just as moist and flavorful as the Huli. It wasn't too spicy tho. (to be fair they promote it "with a little heat ". so I can't hold it against them. This review is for Uber Eats delivery. We were staying close by and found this restaurant on the app so decided to order a plate for dinner to share. I didn't have high hopes given that it was less than 4 stars on Yelp but was still excited since I haven't had Hawaiian food in a while. We ordered half Huli Huli (marinated teriyaki chicken) and Honolulu (chicken with garlic, green onions, and sesame) and it tasted like something that was homemade rather than from a restaurant. It was also very salty. I wasn't a fan of the Mac salad since it tasted like mayonnaise mixed with a lot of black pepper. It was very disappointing. Been here a few times and my favorite is the Honolulu chicken. This time I tried the veggies, since the macaroni tends to have a lot of mayo and that's pretty much all you can taste. The veggies were ok. Just your basic steamed veggies. The chicken had great flavor though. We also ordered the Huli Huli chicken which was pretty similar. Wish we had the pork or a different protein. Went back because customer relations reached out to me after my review and told me that they would fix the issue and plus I really like Hawaiian Bros but again the mac salad was not as good as I've had at other Hawaiian bros spots. It was a little better, but the Mac was still swimming in oil or whatever that liquid was. I'm adding a picture of the Mac salad I got at the Lewisville spot just so you can see the difference. The chicken was as good as it always is. I'm not hating on the meal, but the mac salad makes the whole meal kinda lose. Stopped in for the free plate lunches they offered before the big grand opening and was pleasantly surprised. The food was really good, read reviews about bland Mac and cheese and I really liked mine. Pasta is a little mushy but can't really cook large quantities of pasta and it not get soft. Just saying... so even with it being a madhouse when we went, I mean offer free food and watch the people show up, it was just a mild madhouse, not anywhere near the chaos we expected or it could have been. You ordered upon entering, gave your name, made your way down the line to the register, picked out your drink and they called your name and you got your food. Not a long wait and like I said it could have been chaos but was not so kudos for that! If they can keep up that level of service when the madhouse dies down it will be great. All very confusing. I then saw the paper menus, no prices only on the tablet. Tbh it probably took me longer to order on the tablet than it would have if I'd ordered with a person. Mo'bettahs is another Hawaiian chain that seems to have opened up recently. They seems to have more meat options, H Bros only seems to have varying levels of spiced chicken and pork. Charge you a dollar extra for two meats. Three sizes; small, classic and large. Pepsi soda machine. Food took about 15-20 minutes to come out. Portion felt small, we ordered classic. Chicken was chopped up small, only some large chunks. We had Huli Huli, which was bland, boring. Molokai should be the standard, was listed as 1 spice level but was spicy at all, nice and flavourful - just not enough of it. Rice was rice, nothing to talk about. Mac was ok, very mayo-ey and peppery. They give you teriyaki or pineapple bbq sauce - which do nothing to compliment the meal. I would have liked more of the Molokai sauce instead. Prices about $15 a person. Mo'bettahs you can get BOGO coupons for. Probably won't be back, only to literally just get the meat no sides or nothing, which probably won't happen. I ordered a large mixed plate via Door Dash for pickup. This location does not have a drive-thru like the other one and I didn't notice them having a curbside pickup either. When I entered, no one greeted me, but I did see a pickup table. I never know if I can just grab my food and go or if I have to show proof that I ordered it so I asked one of the employees. She said I could just take it. My bag was feeling a little light, but I did substitute the rice for vegetables. However, for $20 I'm very positive they gave me the wrong amount of food. I ordered a large with intentions of sharing it with my family. I have gotten more food on a Classic plate from the Hurst location for $5 cheaper! In fact, I have a review drafted for the Hurst location and the first sentence is "Good food and you get a lot for the price!" This is not the case with the North Arlington location. Today is Veterans Day and this company so kindly offered a free meal to veterans. My husband who is now a disabled veteran went to redeem his free meal at approximately 12 today. An employee who was a black male, and a height of 5'10 proceeded to say " oh another veteran here for some free shit." Proceeded to then toss his food on the counter once completing my husband's order. He not only was passed to multiple managers but was also informed the specific manager to escalate this to was on vacation.
