We stopped here for lunch for the first time on 01/09/2026 at about 1pm, at the recommendation of someone who has been here several times before. There are very convenient self order kiosks inside (they also have a drive thru). We got a combo plate with the Molokai Chicken and the Honolulu chicken. Both were very good, with lots of rice. I feel that the price is reasonable for the portions provided. I can't really comment on the service, as you have very little interaction with any employees; however, it was a clean dining room and good food. It definitely gets a five star in my book! read more

If you're in a hurry, you're craving a taste of aloha, and you're a haole....this is your spot. If you're remotely Hawaiian, then manage your expectations. Simple menu - entree options: chicken teriyaki available in four ways (various spice levels and garnishes), Kalua pork, or mixed veggies, and served with a side of rice and mac salad. You order from a kiosk, reading the descriptions, and hope you order something you remotely want since there isn't anyone to ask questions. The food was good...a solid 4 stars. We had the combination plate of Honolulu chicken and Moloka'i chicken - nice mild spice on the latter. Mac salad was okay, not my favorite...we should have ordered double rice. Everything comes is disposable one-time use plastic - meals in styrofoam clamshells, plastic utensils are individually wrapped in additional plastic, plastic straws, etc....at least the cups are paper coated in thin plastic. Because of the lack of service, excessive disposable plastic, and lack of a diversified menu, I give this place a solid 3 stars. read more

Probably the worst in store fast food dining experiences I've had. Waited 20 minutes to get pre-prepared food scooped out of a bin. Food was left on the line almost the entirety of that wait. Slider meat was disgusting, slimy, and had a giant chunk of connective tissue reminiscent of a used condom smashed inside. Bread was stale. I actually attempted to cancel the order but was told by the manager it was fresh and she'd just made it. Also completely dirty and was told they "ran out" of napkins that evening. How the hell does a restaurant run out of napkins. Highly NOT recommended. read more

My goodness gracious, this is SO good! The first time I had Hawaiian bros, it was DoorDashed due to having COVID. From there, I was hooked! Molokai Chicken: It says it is spicy, but I didn't taste the heat; that was great for me. It was so good. This is the only time I can manage to have my food touching, the macaroni salad doesn't ruin the overall taste. I just make sure I eat it first, and then I mix my chicken with the rice. PERFECT! Spam Musubi: These are delicious, as well. Who knew spam and rice would be delectable? I'll take it! Dole Whip: YES, please! The kids liked this place so much they wanted it twice! I have to say, it was pretty good--think Panda meets Sarku. That's the best comparison I got since that's what is familiar (remember i'm from Nebraska). The space was clean and inviting, and the staff was super friendly. The manager on duty even came out to check on everyone, which was a nice touch. I'm not sure there's a lot to say about this place, but when the kiddos are in the mood for a meal with rice, we'll definitely stop in. We also liked the soft serve...it's perfect for a summer day when you need a sweet and refreshing treat. I also really liked the Jamaica! I wasn't a fan of the spam thing, but that's on me. It was fresh and cooked just fine, I'm just not a huge spam person. That said, I've heard it's a popular item, so I had to give it a try. If that's your thing, go for it... it just wasn't mine. So my understanding is that this place closes at 3am, right? That's what Apple Maps says--correct me if I'm wrong. Anyways, I left the gym super tired and hadn't eaten anything all day, which is on me, but I was really counting on this meal. I pull up, and they tell me they don't have chicken ready and it'll be about 5 minutes. No problem. I park, set a timer, and come back--only to be told the exact same thing again. I get it, it's late and people are tired, so I wait another 10 minutes. There's a car in front of me, so I assume they're waiting too--but then they suddenly drive off clearly frustrated without any food. At that point, it just felt like no one inside wanted to work, so I ended up leaving too, honestly pretty bummed. I work in service as well as a server, and I've never turned a table away--even if it's 5 minutes before closing. I know it might sound dumb to be this upset over food, and I'll get over it, but I showed up at 1:30am--not right before closing. There was still an hour and a half left, so I just don't understand the lack of urgency or effort. read more

We tried some Hawaiian Bros, since we usually go to Mobettahs, and ordered the Luau pig and Honolulu chicken with the Dole soft serve. The Luau pig was ok. Definitely better once you pour the teriyaki sauce on it, but the Honolulu chicken was absolutely delicious!! No need for extra sauce because the flavor was perfect. We made sure to also order the strawberry and pineapple dole soft serve, which was a refreshing end to our meal. However, the staff was loud in the kitchen swearing a lot, talking to friends who came to visit, and being a little disruptive. I can excuse staff talking in the kitchen when it's busy, but we were the only ones in the restaurant and I heard multiple hard swears dropped. Probably best for take out here. read more

You can also buy any of the meat options ala carte for around $18 just fyi, first time we did the plates with rice but then realized we maybe didn't want the rice so that option is great if you are trying to be low carb and don't want any other sides. We like the pulled pork and many of their various chicken dishes. We either substitute the veggies or pineapple skewers for the macaroni salad. Try the Dole whip! The first time or two I ate at Hawaiian Bros, at another location, I just thought they were ok. About a year later my husband asked about them and I said that I had been there before and they were ok. We decided to go to the Hurst store so I could prove that they were nothing special. This time I realized that I was WRONG. We both LOVED them. I have had most of their meals but fell in love with the Huli Huli Chicken. Moist grilled thigh meat that has been cooked perfectly every time we have been here. The rice is great with the meat juices making for a nice sweet sauce. I tried out their teriyaki chicken w/rice and Mac and cheese and it all tasted AMAZING. First off the chicken was fresh and savory tasting. The teriyaki adds a nice sweet kick to it. But don't forget the rice. If you mix the teriyaki sauce with the rice, then you get something from heaven. finally, the mac & cheese, the type of cheese they used is a very good cheese for a mac & cheese. it's unique that it's not just cheddar. The people there were very nice and it took a while and makes sense due to the fact that the food all seems fresh. I was not inside the building so I have no clue how it looks in there. Traveling to OK n stopped thru for a quick bite. Not much Hawaiian going on in TX but def a growing market!! Dillon greeted us as soon as we came thru the door (Friendliness Check!) We also noticed that they have several order kiosks for those who feel inclined to fend for themselves on the ordering front (that's a technology awesomeness check!). The place is a bit small but kept very clean and I was impressed by small things like individually (and uniquely) wrapped utensils, various packaged sauces to choose from for topping meats and rice; they even have Tamari!! And you gotta try the Jamaican Soursop juice!! (Facilities and ambiance check!) As soon as we sat down our food was READY; which was a super pleasant surprise! (So that's a Promptness check!). We all got different plates, slightly spicy Molokai plate w Mac n rice for me, Huli Huli bowl for the daughter, and the more spicy Kilauea Chicken with Veggies n rice for the hubs. Each one is Teriyaki w different levels of sweet and spice, none for the Huli Huli, mildly sweet n spicy for the Molokai and sweet n spicy w a LAVA kick for the Kilauea chicken. The spice wasn't too much for those who aren't used to Asian level spice, but it lends the perfect amount of additional flavor, char and sweetness to make these plates HAWAIIAN This is a great place for FAST, FRIENDLY, TASTY Food at affordable prices. Not sure why I waited to eat here. The food was great the chicken with rice and macaroni had great flavor, tasted great. You have different chicken flavors to pick from on the kiosk. When you come into the store there are computer stations you go to. Ring up your own food and drinks and pay with credit card like you work there. They do have staff that will come over and see if you need help. Not sure if you are able to pay with cash. Take a seat they will bring the food out. Not a bad set up easy to use. The décor is surfer Hawaii nice style. The chicken I got was called Huli Huli very good a little sweet not hot. It is chunks of chicken cook on a grill and covered in a wet sauce not a gravy. Comes sitting on rice plus you get as side of rice. Not sure why so much rice. I got the macaroni with my order very good but heavy on carbs. They do have other sides but it is a up charge. We also got the Molokai chicken same thing as Huli Huli but not as sweet with a little spice. I think they got the labeling wrong on our box. We think they were reversed. But they were both good. This place is pretty solid! I've tried it before in Austin and decided to stop in for lunch. A really great employee (I'm assuming he was the manager on duty?) greeted us and walked us through the menu and ordering (and he later checked on us at our table as well). Service was quick and easy - you order via a kiosk. I love that the menu is limited and focused on a mix of select proteins (mostly chicken), and that you can do 1/2 and 1/2 on the classic or large plates if you want to try more than one protein! The large plate looks like a normal plate, i can't tell the difference. Honolulu chicken was good, sweet but bearable. The luau pork was salty, but with the rice it was good. Overall i had a great experience, food was great even the rice was cooked perfection. Strawberry Pineapple Twist was okay. I think the pineapple by itself would be better. I had read previous reviews, so I was mentally prepared for placing my order digitally on their kiosk, but other people in our party were a little irritated by it. Amanda came over and walked us through the menu and ordering, and that helped. I had signed up for the rewards program the night before, so I redeemed my free Dole Whip It was helpful to have amanda tell us how many ounces of protein to expect with each plate size. We had a variety of food- huli huli chicken, Honolulu chicken, pork, rice, mac salad, veggies, and dole whips (swirl). And we tried all the flavored teas. The food was excellent. The pork was moist and flavorful. The veggies were steamed well. The chicken was savory and sweet. Everything was delicious. The restrooms were clean and well stocked. The restaurant for introverts. First off, the location is beautiful from the highway/outside. It has bright colors & palm trees. It's so pretty & inviting; gives off real beachy vibes right in the middle of Ft. Worth. Now, onto why I called it the restaurant for introverts: If you don't love having employee/customer interaction when you go to a restaurant, then this is the place for you! As soon as you walk in the door, there's two kiosks to order from. You do your entire order, payment & grab your own drinks from there. Then you just sit down & wait for your food to be brought to you & that's the only time you'll interact with an employee. We weren't greeted when we came in the door & no one spoke to us other than calling out our name for the order. While that doesn't bother me at all, it may bother some so I thought it was significant to add to the review. They do have a couple of unique flavors of soda/tea that are pretty cool. The mango one specifically is very good. Though I don't even like mango & felt it tasted more like banana. The food is just okay. It wasn't gross or inedible, but it also wasn't my favorite thing in the world that I'll get cravings for later. My husband & I agreed we'll probably never come back but it was worth trying it once. I think it's relevant to say neither of us had tried Hawaiian food before coming here, but Chinese is his favorite and it seemed along those same lines. The rice & the macaroni salad are pretty bland. They're not bad, they're just plain. Keep in mind if you choose to visit, that they give you rice as a side, but once you receive your meal there's a whole mound of rice under your chicken too. So it may be worth it to you to pick a different side. My husband chose to get vegetables & was disappointed to find they were completely raw. I was really excited about the chicken. I ordered the one that was infused with garlic & had green onions and sesame seeds. It was just alright. I ate a few bites & was done. Again, nothing was bad but it just wasn't good either. Lastly, it was way more expensive than we had expected for a quick lunch. For us to get one of the most basic small meals, the smallest meal with two proteins and two drinks, it cost $30. We would've been way more willing to spend that at a place with better food and not 75% tasteless carbs. Could definitely be worth a try just to say you've been once if you're a Hawaiian food lover. I was greeted in the parking lot, entry, and soon as I walked in with many different faces. I ordered the Molokai which was referred to me by one of my awesome greeters and it was perfect. A bit spicy like I like. great side of Mac and cheese that wasn't expected and the best sweetest, juiciest, pineapples. Everyone who showed up received a free gift card. Great marketing. There was a backdrop, Dancers, shirts to go, and someone will win a Hawaii trip , whomever wins ...by signing up for rewards. This is my first time eating Hawaiian. There were a line of cars for the drive thru, but no line of people to dine in. Unlike most casual restaurants, there were a couple of employees welcoming everyone who enters. I could not find a menu to browse in leisure. Rather than order at a staffed kiosk, I walked up to what I thought was a self-serve one. As soon as I approached it, an employee came by and asked if I had dined here previously. When I told her I had not, she took the time to show me the menu. She mentioned her favorite was the Luau Pig. As I was initially considering the Kilauea Chicken, I ended up getting a mixed plate of both meats. Of the two meats, the chicken was the favorite. It had plenty of flavor and a significant amount of heat. The pork was unfortunately bland and I barely tasted the seasoning. I definitely tasted the seasoning in the macaroni salad. The sticky rice was better when mixed with the chicken. Between the pineapple and strawberry soft serve, I chose the former. It certainly had a tart taste. As if a whole pineapple was dropped into the soft serve machine. read more

The menu here is somewhat limited but what they do have is quite tasty. I've tried the Honolulu chicken and the kalua pork and enjoyed both. Looking forward to trying other items. It's a great post workout meal with lean protein and some carbs, and a great deal with the small size (more than enough food for me) only about $7. They so have regular and large so enough variety of size for anyone. The drive through is fast and efficient, another advantage when coming from a workout. read more

I never write reviews, but this service was horrendous and I figure I save others the trouble of coming here. Had to wait over 10 minutes just to place my order in the drive thru. Mind you there was only 1 car ahead of me waiting to order as well. The dining area was closed so there was only 1 customer there other than myself at the time. Then when it was my time to order I had to wait almost an extra 10 minutes to pull up and get my food after the car ahead of me already left with their food. On top of all that I just ordered 2 wraps with no rice. Both wraps had rice. This is the first and last time I'll go to this location. read more

And with 6 HBs in the DFW area, including the new Frisco location, there's always one close enough to visit. . . My go to order is their Kilauea Chicken - a sweet & spicy grilled chicken with a lava hot kick - sub out the Mac Salad for Seasoned Veggies to make it gluten-freen, a Strawberry Pineapple Swirl Dole Soft Serve for the car ride home and Spam Musubi to eat for a late nite snack. When I first encountered Hawaiian Bros it was great. This last time via Uber the worst experience ever. I thought they represented Aloha peace, compassion and understanding. Apparently not! They took my order then changed it because they didn't have the items I ordered. I asked for them to cancel and then I was rudely told by an employe that it was my responsibility to change or cancel the order. My order was fulfilled still with a couple pieces of meat and the rest vegetables. Not what I ordered. But they didn't care just get the order through. $15 for a cup of beef and a cup of frozen vegetables. Yes I'm not happy because your team is incompetent. Great place for a quick & yummy meal! Love the difference size plates (small if you just need a little something, up to a large if you're famished). My favorites are the huli huli chicken, Honolulu chicken, and (when I have to cheat on my diet) the pineapple dole whip (omg, is this delicious!). The team at this location is always very friendly and professional, and wait time is almost non-existent (love that they are expedient). What has been disappointing is the spam musubi. I was so excited about this side, but was greatly disappointed. The flavor is okay, but they have it wrapped in plastic, so it steams the nori and makes it extremely soggy which makes it break apart - very difficult to eat. I hope they revisit how they serve this side. Overall, it's a thumbs up for me. read more
