Reading reviews is highly important I should've read my reviews on this place before I even waste my time and gas, so I give this place a call as I'm looking to purchase a firearm now the gentleman on the phone was rude because I had went to multiple gun shops I'm from out of state and I did not know that Arizona does not sell to out-of-state residents so me living here I went, To go purchase a Arizona State ID like I was told from another gun shop in order to purchase a firearm in the state of Arizona so the Gentleman on the phone, was being rude saying that I am trying to bypass the system the law when I do things by the law so I said what do I need to purchase a weapon from you guys I have an Arizona temporary ID for right now he said just bring in a utility bill so I go ahead and drive all the way down there with a utility bill just to be told oh unfortunately we stop selling after six why didn't you tell me that before I got there then tells me oh you have your Florida drivers license on you ? you don't need an Arizona state ID to buy a shotgun or a long rifle you can use an out-of-state ID so why didn't you tell me that over the phone??? So I asked can I buy a weapon here and pick it up tomorrow he said yes you can then he goes ahead and switches up on me multiple times then he's talking about how we have to wait 10 days in order for me to pick up my rifle when you just told me I can purchase a fucking shotgun with my out-of-state ID but now you're telling me I have to wait near two fucking weeks for my hard copy to come in to purchase a fucking shotgun and but told me I can purchase with an out-of-state ID what sense does that make then gives me an attitude ??? I had a great experience there. They have a huge selection, even more than what is online. All different price points to fit any budget, and different styles to meet your fancy. I'm impressed~ custom engraved old school revolvers, to Storm Trooper type artillery. I was specifically on a hunt for a Glock 17. I searched high, and low via backpage, Craigslist, Lucky gunner, and local pawn shops. 1 call here and voliá. Henry, the manager was quick to give me the info I needed, and provided great customer service. I will so be in again when I need anything else. **Tip** Purchase a pistol here, keep your reciept, and get your CCW class free. No joke, this shop pays for it. I use them regularly for my FFL transfers. On a few occasions they forget to call me to tell me when my transfer has arrive. Then, when I show up, they tell me I need to wait until they call me to come pick it up. I think waiting more than 5 business days for a call after they signed for the delivery is way too long. Today was the straw that broke the camels back, though. Was waiting in like at the cashier while she was having a nice chat with a customer about personal stuff. Waited 5 minutes while she caught up with that customer. Her name was Angel. She apologized about it but I doesn't make it right. They are a business after all. This place advertises great prices on new guns. When you take the time to go down and look at the so called new guns, you find out the term "new" only means that it has never been sold. ALL of the "new" guns that I looked at word very scratched up and looked worse than most used guns. Their explanation was they don't have much room to protect them so that get "banged up". Aside from that, it's the manager of the firearm section was about as slow as you be. This place is a poor example of a gun shop! Lack of knowledge and horrible service. read more

Went into the store with two of my buddies who are both CCW holders in Arizona, and Arizona residents. I am law enforcement and a military vet, but have a California Drivers license. Both of my buddies saw the Sig Sauer 365xl Spectre Comp, that I was carrying at the time, and fell in love with it. We entered the store and my buddies were going to pay cash for the pistols that were in stock. Due to me having a California license they would not even let my buddies look at any guns and stated even if I left the store they wouldn't do the sale. Stated it was store policy! What a joke of a business, and they missed out on about 4k of sales this day! Go to Tombstone Tactical where the deals are better anyway! read more

I went there to buy a firearm and had the worst experience. The sales associate was rude and lacked any kind of good customer service. He showed us a few pieces and when I decided on one, he then refused to sell it to me. I was confused and upset that i went through all of that to be told no. Big waste of time and I will never recommend that pawn shop and to the store manager, your staff needs to be either retrained or fired. Having employees working for your business who lack customer care will ruin your reputation. It's best to get rid of him. read more

okay i was trying to negotiate a price on a welding helmet that brand new is 34 dollars and the pawn has it listed for 32. so i wanted to see if i can negotiate a price. long story short, i said okay how about 25 after i offered 20. then instantly becomes extremely rude saying im cheap and a waste of time and calling me "little buddy". so then i lost my cool. who ever manages their customer service on ebay should be fired. i was completely professional until he insulted me. totally not recommend doing business with them. 0 out of 10. read more

My review is more about a specific employee or two. We were in the shop the other day and my husband asked for a specific magazine. There are hundreds on the wall but the employee (heavy set Hispanic guy) pointed to the wall and said it would be over there which was no help at all! Prior to even asking, we had to wait while he had a conversation with another guy who admitted to just hanging out there and not conducting business. Seeing that he was not at all helpful with my husband, I took advantage of asking questions about a product to the amazingly helpful African-American woman. I decided to purchase it and added it to my husband's pile. Unfortunately, I didn't realize until it was too late that they are on commission (which is ridiculous) and the lazy, unhelpful guy attached to his stool was making a profit from something he didn't even assist with and what was a majority of the sale. So one star for him and FIVE STARS for her. I wish I had their names. His might have been Hector but I don't recall definitively. read more

Purchased a handgun with the EXPRESS UNDERSTANDING that a concealed carry class was included with the purchase. I purchased the weapon in SEPTEMBER 2016 and it's now late March 2017. I have gotten nothing but a run around from staff there. Stay away and find a shop that will stick to their word. These people don't. read more

The local neighborhood pawn or the lender of last resort. They have been around a very, very long time. Most items can be pawned but they do not accept iPads, iPhones, etc., etc., as they are overstocked on these items and the pawn market has collapsed on same. They are open long hours and I often browse through to see what is on sale. It is true that they no longer haggle and I am not sure if they ever did. Still, all in all, if you are in a bad way, they may, just may, be able to help you pawn your way out of it. read more

The Asian guy that works there comes to the back of the store after about ten minutes of us being in the firearms department he walked past a family of 5 that was stand next to another black male who was standing alone and says "Hey you all together I need to see everybody's ID's" insinuating that we were all together because we are black, he said it in a joking way as if bantering with the family of 5. When asked was he stereotyping us by assume we were all together because we were black he started laughing! We were all extremely offended. Very unprofessional, the staff is very inconsistent with prices when it comes to selling, I went in to sell a new pair of Beats Solo 3 and the guy I was talking to offered me 15$. I asked why so little and he said "well there used" *even though they were pretty much just taken out of the box and used once* and then I replied with "well I only used them once" and he rudely replied with " well that makes them used, only way they would be worth more to anybody is if your the manager of a Best Buy, are you the manager of a Best Buy". I gladly told him I would pass. I came back later that night and was offered 45$ for them. This type of thing happens all the time this store always changes prices on there customers and quite frankly most of the employees here are rude, they clearly only care about there compensation or something and don't care what so ever about their customers. They used to have the best selection of tools. Now they have the best selection of tools you won't buy because you can in some cases buy it new in Lowes or Home Depot. And some are 6 years old. My recent visits they have not even haggled on items. They just don't seem to have the same aggressive business practice anymore But their gun counter is 4 - 5 times larger now. And to be fair they really don't haggle there either but Their stock is new. read more

Kool gun store they have tons of firearms in the cases and on the walls used to new, they also have layaway pay as u go no time frame but must be consistent pymts. I called this place b4 i came lookn for my toy n they not only had it but in tan color so i came in and they held it for me with a deposit n i came bak coupke days later n piked the bad boy upp..customer service was ok there were only 2 sales guys at the time i came in n they were both helping someone each. So i had a lil wait but when it was my turn took like 15 minutes or less n i was out the door with my Scorpion Evo3...some of they're prices r ok n some r a lil high too.
