    Wagyu brisket - a must!!!
    Emmelynn G.

I really like this location! I def prefer it over Garden Grove. We have had a bad experience with the staff at the Garden Grove location but Fullerton's staff was a breath of fresh air. The staff is was soooo nice, attentive, and fast here. The interior at this location is clean and chairs were comfortable. The Wagyu brisket was *chef's kiss*. Beautiful marbling, melt in your mouth. All the banchan is really good. And they serve raw crab banchan on the weekends. Be prepared to wait! Get there early and out yourself on the waitlist. They close at 9pm but they may close the waitlist around 8:30pm.

For 2 people we got the A combo and the naengmyun +galbi combo and it was delicious! Jack is our server and was super attentive and cooked our meat to perfection. We waited 1.5 hours when we got here Saturday night at 7pm but definitely worth the wait!

This is THE place! A5, Kobe Wagyu! Butter... just like butter. The staff are all wonderful! They remember us and that's always a nice feeling.

Mo Ran Gak is in the highest tier of restaurants for me. The service is always kind, attentive, and top-notch. The restaurant space itself is spacious and always bustling with activity because of how popular it is. If I could pick only one place to get KBBQ, it would be here. Their cold noodles are the best I've had and my wife craves their cold noodles. When I come for KBBQ, I usually get their combo for the size of our party, and it has never disappointed. The amount of meat you get is perfect and your server perfectly cooks it for you. At our most recent visit, my wife and I shared the Naengmyeon + Galbi combo. The banchan offered here is quite literally the best I've ever had. There is so much variety and the quality is amazing. The cold noodles are refreshing, not too heavy, but also have distinct flavor that is not too overwhelming. The gable was perfectly marinated and the meat quality is top tier. I rave about Mo Ran Gak to my friends, and will be a loyal patron here unless something drastic changes.

Mo Ran Gak's newest location delivers the same great experience with quality meats and a standout bibim naengmyun that's hard to beat. A few things worth noting: - The prime non-marinated KBBQ combo for 2 lets the quality of the meat shine, except we got the marinated short rib and the subtle sweetness really elevated the soft meat. - We added the bibim naengmyun (+$11.95), and they kindly split it into two bowls for us, which was a thoughtful touch. - Their bibim naengmyun includes skate fish, which adds an extra crunchy texture to the otherwise soft bowl of noodles. Hands down, this is my favorite naengmyun. I have yet to find this flavor profile anywhere else! The really kind ajummas diligently cook the meat for you and boy, was it grilled perfectly! The service was attentive and with their concentrated vents, you won't be leaving smelling like smoked meat. Can't wait to come back!

Great Korean BBQ restaurant. Popular. All the Koreans flock to eat here. I came here during the week on a Monday. They opened at 11AM, and there was already a line. They don't seat you unless your entire group is at the restaurant, regardless if you are at the front of the line. If your entire group is not here, the wait can be another hour wait. Our group of seven was waiting for one person. They seated us because we told them she was in the parking lot, and she was. The restaurant was packed. It's not that large a restaurant either. We ordered Combination C. They delivered the side dishes first, along with canned sodas. Staff remain at your table, cooking your meat selection for you on the grill. Delicious, tender, high quality meat. After all the meat is cooked, we each received a noodle dish. I ordered the cold noodles. So good. Haven't eaten that in decades. Parking: Free, shared parking lot. Crowded.

I don't even know where to start- an AMAZING dining experience from start to finish EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! Each visit, once we ordered, our servers did EVERYTHING, so if you're new to this type of dining. Just bring your appetite, great company if you can, or just enjoy their amazing feast all your own. Located in a shopping center with ample parking, whether by the market or by Paris Baguette, it's convenient. Expect a wait as they're usually busy anytime I've been here for dinner with a group of 6 of us. The wait most times for us have been no more than 15 min. I'd wait an hour easy- if absolutely necessary. I know I won't leave hungry nor disappointed. Favorites/ Highlights (kept a list, because there is so much to remember!) The way their staff bring everything out, banchan, and the different t entrees, it's like a symphony... very efficient and so well choreographed. Diverse selection of banchan includes the soybean sprouts, acorn jelly, potato salad, kimchi, squash, squid, lettuce (varies each. visit if I recall correctly, but always a delicious variety Banchan include their signature fried mung bean pancake (BUT YOU STILL SHOULD ORDER THEIR SEAFOOD PANCAKE TOO)- the crispness, the crunch, the texture of each ingredient, the FLAVOR is by far my favorite of all seafood pancakes I've tried) Steamed egg is the best!! Favorite grilled meat is the beef brisket for me. Their presentation is beautiful, the grilling is so quick and always changed out so as not to char anything or taste anything charred. I've read you can grill it yourself, but our groups have always let the staff grill our items. MARINATED COMBO D/ 4 (Included a SOJU OR BEER) Regular brisket, pork belly, shrimp, chicken Steamed egg AND soybean paste soup OR tofu soup The brisket and the pork, the shrimp- all were so tender and delicious! They serve the shrimp butterflied and deveined so it grills perfectly. 1 Each of the Regular and Spicy Nangmyeon (additional cost to the combo) Want Galbitang Yookejang is always a crowd favorite (shredded beef in a hot and spicy beef broth Spicy Braised Cod (also had radish, sliced rice cakes, the sauce is delicious too and not too spicy, so good with white rice) Bibim Nawngmyeon is another must try (don't use too much vinegar- add a very little and flavor to taste with the mustard, unless you get the spicy version, no extra seasoning needed) There- that is the "short" list for now :) Hope to be back again soon!

Came to eat here for lunch for the first time with my older sister. We've only tried the Garden Grove location but we're definitely coming back to this one. We got the beef combo for 2 and two cold noodles and it was very filling! The food is always great at Morangak but the service here was so exceptional. We had server Kay and not only was it super easy to talk to her but I just genuinely felt her great personality. I literally want to ask what days she works so I can come back on those days. Again, the food is ALWAYS great here. THANK YOU SO MUCH KAY!!!

Food is legit!!! Side dishes fresh and tasty. Meat top quality. You will definitely get full. Did the Waygu combo which is pretty pricey (didn't like the beef tongue). We were a family of 4 waits about 30 minutes on a Saturday to sit. The service is 10/10. Overall, I'd return probably choose the meats we really liked. The overall experience was 20/10!

If you want a 5 star experience, you need to come at an awkward time (11AM, 4:30PM). Otherwise join the Yelp waitlist or send a sacrificial lamb to sign up and wait. It will also help to know what you want to order while you potentially wait for that long amount of time. Haven't had the meat at this location so I'll be mainly going over the nengmyeon and fish/stew combo. Both are fire. The icy texture on the nengmyeon is the sign of true quality. Great tang and no bitterness from the cucumbers. Fried fish is a bit oily but offset by rice, stew, and side dishes. Unfortunately, these noodles are pricey but they're literally the same price everywhere else so what can you do? Better than most and gotta try the combo next time

    Myung S.

Something changed here and we all noticed it. The naengmyun didn't taste the same, and they definitely seemed to use a lot more MSG in the food. Once we got home, most of us fell asleep, which usually indicates we consumed quite a bit of MSG during the meal. I've dined at MRG over 20 times, and this is honestly the first time I've actually thought about going somewhere else next time.

I used to go all the way to Garden Grove to get my fix. I was so happy when they opened another location closer in Fullerton. However, the parking situation is still difficult and their service can be worked on. Also, the space is pretty clean and open as it is a newer establishment. The food is pretty good. I came here for the mool naengmyun and galbi combo. It came with a side of naengmyun, which I was able to choose between the mool and the spicy bibim. I chose the spicy bibim naengmyun. TBH, I would give the food a solid 4 stars. However, for a place that specializes in meat, their galbi that came with the naengmyun was way too thin. Also, their service is a hit or miss. You come across great servers and servers who seem like they hate their job. I don't know if it's a communication thing, but one specific guy (no name dropping) was just rude.

    Yum

Mo Ran Gak, located in Fullerton, had an hour-long wait and was well worth it! The food here is so tasty! This is a Korean-style BBQ with old-school booths. I overall have to say their banchan sides were also pretty tasty! We got a set for four people and really loved it here! I would totally come back here and wait for this. While we waited we actually walked inside the Korean supermarket which was in the same plaza area. If you love meat and want to try Korean Bbq this is the spot!

Can I purr my name on Waiting list?

I'm almost certain you need to add your name in person. Many people wait in their cars if it's a long wait.

I'm visiting from East Coast and short on time. Is there a way to make a reservation or do we just sign in at the location? Is Yelp sign in available?

Don't think you can sign in online. If you can then it'll probably be a long wait on a weekend. Would recommend ~5pm or before

Do you do take out? Thank you.

Yes, we do take out orders!

Are you open on new year day?

Hello Emily, yes, we are open on New Year day. see you soon!

Will mo ran gak be open on Christmas Day?

Hello Edwin, Morangak will be closed on Christmas Day. Thank you.

Are you able to make a reservation?

Hello Denis, I'm sorry but we don't take reservations.

How much is unlimited bbq for 2 people mostly beef brisket, thin slicedpork's belly and seafood with steamed egg? Thank?

I don't think they have unlimited, but the combo set for two people is def enough

Do you have gluten free options?

Yes, we have gluten-free options available. Our fresh meats are gluten-free, and some of our soups and rice dishes can also be made gluten-free. Just let us know when you order and we’ll help you choose the right items. Thank you!

Do they have the bone broth pots at the tables?

    No more bone broth 😢

I was curious about Kei Concepts and their empire of polished restaurants around SoCal, and my first entry is here, at SUP Noodle Bar. I was also intrigued by the claims of one of LA's best places for pho. Unlimited pho refill is certainly convincing by itself. Luckily, I was visiting LA right when they started a beef belly pho lunch special, which made our meals such a fantastic value! - Golden "Bao" (one bao) Literally a steamed pork bun that's been fried, so it's crispy on the outside. It was interesting, and the fried aspect made the bread part more doughy opposed to pillowy. The inside was a typical minced pork meatball, a little ginger forward. I'm not too fond of steamed buns or meatballs, so not created with my taste in mind, but it's certainly unique. - Pho Beef Belly The broth is a little extra salty, sweet, and sour than I prefer. It's also more mellow yellow instead of a clear brown so I am missing beefiness. It could maybe could use some additional earthy spices and more savory beef flavor, though I respect that it's flavorful in some aspect. The beef belly basically comes off as hot pot beef slices, which are always welcome in my mouth. I found it interesting how we were asked whether onions were okay to include in the bowl when ordering. The amount of fresh green onions and cilantro atop the noodles were perfect. If I came here again, I'd try some other side dishes and get my pho shaken style, as that seemed to be popular. While I don't think the broth compares to my favorites in NorCal, I really like the refill availability and fusion sides. Considering they look a little extra fancy and modernized over a traditional pho place, the prices are still pretty good. Work on that beef flavor!

Each one was very tasty and the spicy one hits you after a bit. So good! The K-pop street tacos were also very good and served with a spicy sauce. So glad they're still around. It's been a while since we came and we're happy and satisfied. Plenty of seating and the service is good. Attended to in good time and didn't have to wait long to get our food. Love the Japanese Cherry blossom decor mixed with K-Pop flare.
