We really love Arisu! This is not all you can eat but ala carte. The meat is high quality. They cook the meat for you. They serve hot barely tea which I love! Their banchan is refillable twice, but really once was enough for us. The radish paper, bean sprout salad, fish cake, green onion and regular kimchi were my faves. We got the beef combo with short rib, brisket, and marinaded steak. It was delicious, great quality. This second visit our first female server has the no emotion, no customer service skill, genZ attitude. Didn't seem to know the menu. The servers were all very friendly or just came by to cook. Our first visit we had a great server and cook that made me want to come back. The inside is good for groups and very airy. On weekends it can be a bit Smokey. It's def pricey at $99 for this combo (May 2026) but it's worth it to me. Gota eat beef before prices are even higher! The seafood pancake was huge with a lot of green onion and seafood bits. Good Korean bbq spot, but definitely crowded and hard to get into. My party of 6 waited around 25 minutes to get a table around 5:30pm, and we ended up getting sat at separate tables for 3 people, which was kind of a bummer since I saw them prepare a 6 top- which probably went to bigger parties. In terms of food, we decided just to get their seafood pancake, spicy buckwheat noodles with raw fish, and normal buckwheat noodles. I really liked their seafood pancake. It was heavy with egg and scallions and plenty of hearty seafood. I'd say the noodles were on the pricier side as a much simpler dish, however for the noodles, they give you a big bowl of the noodles along with a smaller one, which makes it perfect for sharing. The service was pretty quick, they just might not be able to come by your table too much since this place seems to be busy often. 3 years later and I'd say still one of the best Korean bbq in the area! The quality of any type of meat you choose will be top tier, the banchan selection is different varieties. My parents recommended this place, saying that the quality of meat was better than others around the area. We had six adults and two kids who can eat quite a bit. We got beef combo A to start. The servers cook the meat for us, which is always nice because my husband grumbles about paying for Korean bbq and having to cook it ourselves. There was only one marinated meat, which my dad always says is usually a cheaper cut and tries to always get non marinated meat. I personally like the marinated meat but both were very good with high qualifies of meat. We also had the kimchi stew, tofu stew and steamed eggs and it was delicious. We were still hungry after combo A so we had the mul naengmyun and spicy mixed naengmyun and they were both refreshing and delicious. We then also get chicken and pork belly. I've been to many kbbq spots that were way busier with a lot more tables, and the service was nowhere near as bad as it was today. You really can't even call it "service" because the servers literally make you feel like you've inconvenienced them by coming into the restaurant and giving business to the establishment. Like many of the reviews written previously, my family and I experienced the same incredibly poor service, from the angry looking servers, to slamming dishes on our table, no acknowledgment that they heard you when you've asked for something, the major attitudes you get whenever the servers actually come around, to the point where although the girl server was supposed to cook the meat, we told her we can cook it ourselves, because we didn't want her toxic energy around. Usually I take about 2 hours at a kbbq, but this place was rushing for us to finish even though they have asked us if we wanted to take things slow or fast. Plus, they cook the food for you. Arisu Korean BBQ is hands down my go-to spot whenever I'm visiting LA/OC. Honestly, I think it might even be better than a lot of the well-known places in K-town! Everything here is incredibly tasty, but the galbi-naengmyun truly stands out it's absolutely delicious. Their meat quality is excellent! You won't see too much fat attached to their galbi like other places. The noodles are made in-house, so the quality is unmatched perfectly chewy with a refreshing, flavorful broth. The ambience is really nice and super clean. To top it off, the staff is always extremely friendly and their hospitality is top-notch. I live in San Francisco and haven't found a Korean restaurant up here that even comes close to Arisu. I especially love the cold radish soup and japchae ban chan! We are usually the only non Korean guests which is always a good sign. One of my favorite KBBQ places. They take reservations. The marinated kalbi is their specialty. We usually order a spicy cold noodle, beef tongue, and kalbi. Very good korean bbq, good quality meat. I would compare this spot to the more popular Baekjong. My favorite cut was definitely the boneless short rib--super tender and juicy. Their radish kimchi looked different than the usual and was my favorite out of all the banchan. They also gave a cabbage pancake which was new to me but I am so glad they did because that was pleasantly savory and delicious. The soybean stew was very salty, I could not eat it personally, and they surprisingly don't offer rice paper here. Aside from that, this was a great experience overall. Good service, they grill it for you perfectly. I like how the noise level is moderate unlike some kbbq spots that bump music too loud. The menu has a lot of variety in which I don't see at other non-ayce kbbqs. Our party of nine arrived at the restaurant and we were told we would have to split our tables even though they have many tables that would fit us all. We pushed back and they decided to put us at a larger table but we're told by server Jaso they would only light one bbq. They started dropping little bowls of food and condiments.
