I dont know how this place is even open. I called to make an order and he is hard to understand but was telling him what I wanted. He said to come in and order, so I did. He had told me over the phone when I come in it would take 2-5 minutes to prepare the food. I went in and he was folding silverware in napkins. He kept doing that as I stood there. I Starting to get annoyed because there's literally nobody in there and he's just standing there and I said can I go ahead and order. I said ok can I order this..... so he has no desserts, no coffee, majority of the Appetizers he doesn't have. I asked about ordering Turkish coffee, he had no coffee. I asked about the baklava or konafa, nope doesn't have that either. I said ok what about the sampler platter with the whipped feta, and cucumber salad... another nope. I asked if he knows when he will have all these items and what he does have if half the menu he doesn't even have. He said, "Oh maybe tomorrow, maybe next week." Dude it's your business if you're not gonna have things on the menu then you need to take them off the menu. There's no way in hell my food would've been ready in 2 to 5 minutes like he said on the phone if he takes 2 to 5 minutes just to stop what he's doing and address the customer because there's the one who's gonna pay your paycheck not the silverware. He said something about he had authentic Egyptian food and for some reason pointed to the water leak stain on the ceiling. I thought that was kind of weird that someone would point that out unless I thought he was pointing it out I don't know. I said ok I will try coming back another time then. He kept talking but I wont waste my time coming back to a place that doesn't have whats on their menu. read more

My husband and I stopped in for an early dinner because friends had recommended it. We both ordered the Chicken Kabob Meal. It came with the chicken already off the kabob, rice, onions, zucchini, tahini and taziki. It also came with pita bread. The tea is fresh brewed and really good. Wonderful experience all around!!! Everything in here is home made, and you can tell it's made both fresh and made with love. The owners were amazing and so friendly. You can totally tell they are living their passion. Restaurant was clean and pretty inside with all the lights too. I was apprehensive of this restaurant upon entering as there were no other customers and the place looks a bit dated but don't be fooled. The food is delicious and fresh and the customer service was fast and Courteous. The dining area needs some sprucing up for sure but for a quick bite that's tasty I would recommend this restaurant for sure, especially if you're craving Mediterranean/ middle eastern food! The food here is amazing. The woman working was quite the salesperson and storyteller. The food was as good as she hyped. I was with a group celebrating so I was ok spending a little more than I would for lunch which was good because the woman would talk a dish up and just say she'd bring us some. I figured it would show up on our bill which it did. Everything was delicious and I probably wouldn't have tried it otherwise, but I do not like when something is being offered and I can't tell if they're being nice and giving it to you or being a little deceptive and making you pay for it. read more

We went today based on reviews on another site (R-ji) which listed it as #1 in Morristown. Nope. Many items on the menu were unavailable. The pita bread was the only redeeming factor. The exclaimed hummus was bland and very coarse; tzatziki used low fat yogurt and minimal flavor; some rotten tomatoes in the salad; falafel was tender in texture yet very salty and old grease and drippy w grease in the container; very small servings for the cost--which proved to be a good thing! Sad to be visiting the town and hoping for a great meal on a Friday evening but nope. Will look at Yelp or TA for our next meal. read more

As far as I know, this is the first Falafel house east of Knoxville and West of Asheville. I've eaten here a couple times and I really like it. The Tabouli salad or Tabbouleh is excellent! I usually order the Chicken Kabob Dinner which is wonderful but the next dish I'm trying is the Macarona Bechamel Dinner which is Baked pasta with spiced meat and tzatziki. If you want an alternative to the typical QSR, definitely check out Mo's. read more

But this place is a little closer and continues to get good reviews, so we decided to try it today. I ordered online for pick up. My order was ready on time and the woman at the counter was very nice at pick up. We order the sampler with falafel, hummus, and ful medames. We also ordered fries, rice, and the Egyptian salad. Everything was so delicious! The seasoning was incredible and the vegetables and herbs were fresh. The pita bread was also great. My favorites were the ful medames and the Egyptian salad. The hummus was a tad bland but still good. The falafel while fried wasn't greasy and had great flavor and was a little spicy. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to take photos before we ate. First off, my family LOVES Mediterranean food and love trying new places. We stopped here from out of town on Memorial Day and were pleasantly surprised by this little gem of a restaurant. I have many food sensitivities and they were very helpful and accommodating, We tried the falafels, dolma's, hummus and pita bread, baba ghanoush, and lamb and chicken skewer rice plates. So glad we saw excellent reviews! We were traveling back to Chattanooga from a weekend in Blowing Rock and were looking for a good lunch place. Would second review that this is a hidden gem! We had sampler platter of Ful Medanes, Falafel, and Baba Ghanoush. I had an eggplant wrap, and my husband had a lamb gyro. We finished with konafa, which I had never had. This place is ridiculously overpriced for the portions and the customer service is awful. I paid $4 for a large turkish coffee and the cup wasn't even a quarter full. The baklava was the size of my palm and it was also $4. I called before making this review, and the lady that answered was condescending and rude. "You ordered large coffee, that is what I give." I don't know what planet that a large coffee is not even a quarter full, but sure lady. Then I brought up the baklava and she continues to argue with me. Apparently I've taken time out of my day to call and lie for $8. No, it is the fact that you ripped me off, you are condescending, and won't make any effort to correct your mistakes. It must have been an off night.... We wandered in around 5 and were the only ones there. Literally! Had to ring the bell to get attention. We were parked at a table and ordered the grape leaves. They were just being rolled and would be available in, wait for it, 2 and a half hours... Should have been an omen. Ordered a three pack of falafel and the chicken kabob vegetable over rice and chicken kabob sandwich. Here we go: The falafel were actually quite good. Probably the high point of the visit.. The chicken kabob was some weird textured chicken over a bed of rice with some squash and onions for the veggies. I order spicy and that was accomplished by sprinkling a liberal dose of cayenne over the dish. The rice and veggies were ok but the chicken was that weird stuff that has that processed texture and tastes revolting. It was far from a "kabob"; at least any kabob I have gnawed on before. The kabob sandwich had the same chicken as the rice dish but less cooked. It actually looked grey. The pita was old and cold. I guess it had the dressings listed but it also had arugula which was not mentioned and which we loathe. The fries were good. We bolted without having dessert. Didn't want to push our luck. All in all, good falafel, rice and veggies were tasty, fries were good. Stay away from the yardbird. I can't imagine why we would return.. We really wanted this to be good but alas... read more

Everything we ordered was fresh and tasted great. We ordered the sample platters which had enough food for two and filled both of us. The food at Mo's is just okay. You're just as well off buying frozen falafel and pita. The hummus is also only okay. The reason for the one star review and not a two or three is the host. A large blonde woman who does not stop speaking from the moment you sit down. I wanted to enjoy a quiet lunch and she kept discussing politics and religion. This establishment is anti-human rights, anti-LGBTQ rights, and anti-women. If you support any of these causes I suggest picking a different restaurant to patronize. read more

The food was so delicious! We came in very early on a Monday evening. There was no one else in the place. I was hoping that wasn't some indication of the quality of the food. Luckily, it was just the opposite! I had the chicken kabob. It was flavorful and moist and the portion size was generous. My husband got the sampler platter and loved everything on it. The service was great. The man who waited on us was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. It was a little difficult to say much about the ambiance since we had the whole place to ourselves but I can say that it was pleasant and clean.
