Ended up with more problems after procedure, but maybe that could of been caught if he would of actually looked at my XRay during the follow up. Instead he asked his assistant does everything look OK? Does she have pain? That woman could barely take my XRay because she didn't know what she was doing let alone know if everything looks OK. I was referred to Dr. Morrison by my dentist for a root canal. I'm certain everyone's least favorite thing. Unparalleled commitment uncompromising care is Moberi's Motto and I definitely concur. I admit I delayed my root canal for fear of that dreaded drill sound. It was a lengthy process which he divided into two appointments to address an infection. He inquired about my well being, professionalism with his staff, overall good natured and highly skilled. To top it off, you groove to the best relaxing hits from musical legends serenading the entire office. The staff is friendly and courteous and the office is warmly decorated. Horrible office staff!! The front desk scheduler is either really bad at her job or their scheduling software is terrible. Either way I have been told twice that my appointment was for this date and time but when I arrived on both occasions I was told the system had me down for another time. The first time was no big deal. 30 minutes difference but really ended up being 45. However today is inexcusable. My appointment was scheduled for today (Monday) at 3 pm. But when I arrived Caroline advised they moved my appointment to Wednesday at 12:30 without notifying me. Sorry Caroline but supposedly leaving a message on voicemail doesn't cut it. You need to be sure you actually make contact so your clients don't leave early from work for nothing. I'm posting my review of my past experiences with Dr. Morrison, thankfully I haven't had to have any root canals lately. My dentist referred me to him in 2016 and I was terrified to come here as I've had horrible dental experiences when I was very young. His staff was very friendly and accommodating, they turned up the music to help me relax which was a big plus and I must say it was a very painless process overall!! In 2017 I had a tooth with a previous root canal done (by another dentist) that started hurting again, here we go with another appointment to come in fairly soon. Same easy process! The laughing gas surely did help me. I highly recommend this place they were all professional from receptionist to Dr. The only billing issue I had was not having insurance so they were costly procedures but well worth it! read more

Disappointed this visit. When the door was unlocked, not a word was spoken to me. My technician didn't know what was "going on" w the xeay machines and complained about it to me for 10 minutes and had to retake my x-rays bc she couldn't figure it out. Then she was evasive and downright rude, shoving the rubber over my mouth and then leaving only to return and say "well we tried real hard", I was like "what do you mean??" So she leaves again and the Dr. Morrison comes in saying there "won't be tears in his chair" bc he has to "be able to lock in". It's a shame Dr. M and the tech I had were so insensitive to what their patients may be going through when they come in for invasive procedures. I too, work w patients that do not want to be coming to the clinic and it can be very emotional as an employee. As bomb.com as a root canal can be! It is a universal fact that teeth problems are the most terrifying thing, probably because most of us have them. I was referred to Moberi Dental Specialists by my dentist, apparently only place he sends people, including his family. Dr Morrison and his dental assistant, Marvin, did a great job. Dr Morrison is super down to earth, relatable, and talks like a human being. He has an amazing ability to understand you when you're talking with a bunch of gadgets in your mouth. Kind of like that game you can buy on Amazon.com. Usually the local anesthesia injections suck the most. Other than a couple of injections, I felt nothing. They answered all of my questions along the way too. Again, because Dr Morrison had an uncanny ability to understand drooling speech. Granted, it depends on your insurance, but I found $290 to be super affordable for a root canal, mainly based on what friends have paid. Make sure you ask if they're in network for you when you call!!! And they can call your insurance to verify coverage and what you'd owe. Do that. And then come here read more

My visit with Dr. Morrison did not go well. I left in tears because I felt so dismissed and unimportant when I came to see him. I was referred by Dr. Wesen Patterson. I neglected my health for a long time, and have spent thousands of dollars over the past 2 months getting dental work done. I was a little uneasy knowing that I might have to shell out more money. My appointment was for a consultation. My insurance would cover all but $54, so I knew this would be due after my visit. When Dr. Morrison came in to see me, he suggested I have a CT scan done. After he found out I couldn't afford an additional $170 to my portion of the bill, he quickly wrapped up with me. HE DID NOT EVEN LOOK INSIDE MY MOUTH. He sent me on my way and recommended I come back in 4 weeks. I did not schedule a follow up visit with him. He wasn't professional, did not dress appropriately (short sleeves and jeans), and seemed uncaring. My hard earned money went right down the drain. read more

I do not recommend this provider due to shady billing practices. A few months ago, my spouse was having extreme tooth pain and went to see our general dentist who referred him to Dr. Morrison at Moberi for an emergency root canal. Due to the situation at hand, and not having time to search for other providers, we went to Moberi for a consultation and the procedure was performed the following morning. We paid up front for the procedure and the front desk lady confirmed they were in-network with my dental insurance. Everything seemed fine until I received the Explanation of Benefits (EOB), from my insurance company. I realized they had overcharged us for the procedure, by almost double, and notified them to request a refund. After months of following up and getting the runaround, they decided to give us a partial refund and are now refusing to speak to me about the remainder of the money they owe us. They are also now claiming that they are not in-network with my dental insurance, which is odd since I verified with both the front desk lady and my insurance company that they were in-network. I strongly encourage you to check your EOBs from your insurance if you use this provider and good luck getting your money back! read more

Office professional and clean very modern. Dr Morrison very nice and laid back. Dr Morrison performed root canal 2016 had no issues or pain with it. Actually, root canal was less pain then getting temp crown work done. Returned today (they got me in right way) due to a previous dentist not doing root canal completely and now through crown having throbbing and horrible pain on right side of face. Waiting for another doctor to read CT and then see what next step will be. Only negative, he asked if I wanted to do procedure of redoing root canal today despite not having the outside doctor read CT. He is almost certain I will need it but I didn't feel comfortable having Just spent all that money for CT and not knowing outcome from outside doctor. Will be returning if redo of root canal needed. This office is ridiculous. The price changed upon coming back for service....and went up! The staff is rude. A previous appointment was cancelled due to an "emergency" the office had. This office holds your credit card information on file. I requested the paper back on the card we had on file and the receptionist refused to return it., and it's now a closed account. Horrible place. I went in for a root canal and the dr was very confident. That made me feel very at ease. I was ready to get my root canal done. They he couldn't do it because of my gag reflex and anxiety which I had already told them about. They gave me a sedative to come back and try in 2 days. I did as instructed and came back higher then a kite, and they still couldn't complete the root canal. They told me I would need to be put completely under. Sounds good to me. Except they couldn't schedule it for 3 more weeks. 3 WEEK OF PAIN. 3 MORE WEEKS ON PAIN PILLS AND 3 MORE WEEKS OF MISSING WORK. I think not. after his second attempt at my root canal, my gums were so completely infected. read more

Charged $400 for "observation" during a root canal. At my initial visit when I was given my treatment plan, I was told that this would be for IV or other anesthetics. I was given a pill to take beforehand & was totally out of it after my 2 root canals so I didn't see the bill until the next day. When I called in & spoke with the office manager, she was extremely argumentative & even talking over me. If you need endo work, I HIGHLY recommend Gulf Coast Orthodontics. read more

I am not a fan of dentist, or doctors! Dr. Morrison and his team are AMAZING! I called two days prior after being referred by my dentist, they made an appointment and called me the day before to tell me what my out of pocket portion would be (so helpful, especially before the holidays). From the front desk personnel to his assistant it was an all over easy procedure. He came in and quickly gained my respect, he put me at ease with his bedside manner. When I was uncomfortable during the procedure he and his assistant made me good again. They had great music on in the office that just made me relax and not even think about what was going on, the laughing gas helped. If I could give zero stars I would. Do not do business with the office. Dr. Morrison is an amazing dentist, but his billing staff is horrible. They sent claims with incorrect dates to my insurance company and when the insurance company denied the claims because of the dates being wrong they charged 584 dollars to the credit card that I used to pay for my copay. I had no warning they were going to charge the card or even that they had not received payment from the insurance. They sent a bill in the mail postmarked 10 days prior to the charge. I received the bill in the mail one day prior to the charge. On the bill it said to call the office to set up a payment plan. There was no mention of just charging my credit card without my authorization. I have been trying to get in contact with the person that handles the billing since this all happened three weeks ago and she will not answer the phone or return my phone calls. Basically since I am unable to fix the incorrect billing myself I am just out the 584 dollars. I have spent hours on the phone with the insurance company and keep coming to the same dead end since the office's charting is incorrect. Dealing with this office has been a complete nightmare. Like I said, Dr. Morrison was amazing with my daughter and did a great job on her tooth. It is a real shame he has such horrible staff running his office. read more

my wife went for procedures by referral, lousy service, zero (0) patient care, zero bed side manner. no pre-procedure contact, no followup. she was on general anesthetic and required me to be in the office for 3 hours, nobody, none what-so-ever office personel come to talk to me after the procedure, which was marginally necessary. just for the money. she came out of the office and couldn''t disoriented, i wanted to take her to the car right by the front door, all i was told was they need my credit card. she has to go to another specialist after that, was told it was a hard to miss that it was a fracture tooth and needs extraction, and he had to go a whole 9 yard just for the charge. wished i had seen your post Russel M. i had been working around all kinds of medical practitioners for the last 30+ years. this is one of the worst. read more
