We also arranged for him to shuttle both my adult daughter and myself to OGG separately he was able to be flexible on the second ride to the airport/OGG. He also advised to Plan to get to the airport a solid two hours before departure because he knows that the road between Lahaina and 0GG can be very problematic if there is a car accident Along the route. I would definitely recommend Maui Rental car Delux! P.S. Maui's small businesses need our support especially during the Pandemic that impacts them more! My wife and I visited Hawaii , the beautiful island of Maui on July 2022 . The next day we decided to rent a car from a local proprietor instead of using the well known car rental services. That's were we found the "wolf in sheeps clothing" saying all the right things about helping the community and giving back. After discussing how many days we would need the vehicle Snake man Kelly said he would email us an invoice and afterwards have the car at our hotel before 3 o'clock pm Perfect we thought , so we paid thru a credit card $503.38 . Four o'clock, 6 o'clock, no car , checked the credit card and it showed that the bill had been paid.At that point after calling him numerous times, texting him and emailing him with no response from the con-man , we realized we've been conned. This guy had gone Ghost , gone ghost with our money. Part two of the CON Later that nite we received a call from the grifter explaining how his car was vandalized and he agreed with my email explaining what I thought about him and his business practice. He agreed and said he would return our money immediately and will still give us a free car to use . He stated In a hour or so we will see the money returned to our credit card and how sorry he was . ( note he said the car was vandalized but earlier that day he said his guy was in the back cleaning the car up for us right now) Next day we had a full day planned with an all day tour. Nothing , no more emails , no text, no phone calls . After the tour the Maui police was contacted and to our surprise they were already familiar with this fraudulent person . They asked if we were willing to press charges, ABSOLUTELY I said and 15 mins later they were at our hotel with paper work to be filled out . They had another run and said they were going to his home/ office to arrest him that evening. Part 3 of the CON Two days later officer called and wanted to know if he had reimbursed us because of course that's what he told them . "NO , he has not , tell him to show you a confirmation number of him paying us" Two days later while at the airport we received a message showing a credit from the square transaction, in which we're still trying to substantiate if it's true for the amount that he STOLE (when I see it taken off my card I'll be satisfied that this is not just another Kelly lie.) Also a message from Con Man Kelly stating this was all a misunderstanding and he was sorry. I'm sorry that people like him are able to operate and prey on innocent people in a place like paradise. Not surprisingly, our hotel was also familiar with this miserable person who buys reviews from google to hype up his ratings . There is another person who gave him a one star for doing the same thing . He will no doubt try and say this is not true but I have proof in writing from himself and that's why the police were going to lock him up . It's always reassuring when you return to a company and the quality, professionalism, and customer service are just as good as you remembered. The weather was windy on the day of our trip, but the crew did an excellent job accommodating the conditions by taking us to a better location so we could still have a safe and enjoyable experience. You could tell they genuinely cared about making sure everyone had the best experience possible rather than simply rushing through the tour. The crew was friendly, organized, and made us feel comfortable from start to finish. Parasailing offers some incredible views, and this ended up being another highlight of our Hawaii trip. That was perfectly fine with us since it gave us more time to explore the shops at Whalers Village. When we arrived at the updated time, several people were waiting because of the strong winds, and we were informed that multiple flights had been canceled. We completely understood the decision to wait for safer conditions, so we didn't mind at all. The boat before ours even had to return to shore, so we honestly thought our flight might get canceled too. Thankfully, we got the green light! The ride on the tender boat was an adventure in itself. You have to time boarding between the shore break, with the help of the staff on-shore ofc which was surprisingly exciting and so much fun. We then transferred to the main vessel, which headed toward south to Lahaina where the wind conditions were better. Even that boat ride was fast, scenic, and such a blast! The highlight, of course, was the parasailing. We were lucky enough to fly under the awesome "UFO" chute, which looked incredible in the video I was filming. Soaring high above the beautiful West Maui coast was an unforgettable experience. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel safe while ensuring everyone had a great time. For everything we experienced, this was an incredible value and absolutely worth it. After our flight, we cruised back to Kaʻanapali and wrapped up an unforgettable adventure. For me, I just wanted to see the island for the natural beauty that exists in our Hawaii and is not overkill on the commercialization like Maui and Oahu has become. It was a nice weekend getaway and I enjoyed it. This property isn't a hotel, but a stand alone condominium complex that sits on the western side of the island. You are basically on your own if you decide on coming here. Very relaxing indeed. It's one of the reasons why you need a car while exploring the island.Molokai is one of those hidden gems that many people talk about, but rarely explored. From the Kalaupapa settlement to the rugged unspoiled beauty that the island provides is a blessing for all to enjoy and cherish. Finding the Kaluakoi Villas actually came through yelp instead of through hotels.com or even orbitz. Actually, one of my friends booked the room so I was pleasantly surprised that this vacation rental is awesome the way it is. This place reminds me of when I spent a weekend on Maui running the Maui Ocean Front Marathon one year, staying at the Maui Aina Nalu in Lanhaina. One was a vacation rental but the other was a hotel. They shared the simple fact that it was a condo atmosphere and it wasn't your stereotypical hotel room. It was magical and amazing. To be here on the island of Molokai for a weekend was awesome. I wish I could do this every weekend but sadly I cannot. The accommodations we received were nothing short of great. The property was very immaculate and clean. You can tell that they keep this place in tiptop shape. The group consensus between us was that we were livingquite the dream and you were in store for a fantastic weekend ahead. The property was located on the west side of the island so a car is definitely necessary to be able to travel and sightsee. The check in process was great and everything was in order. Could not have expected anything less than pure awesomeness. We stayed for three nights. I did not know the price per night because we split the bill right down the middle three ways so it was affordable enough for a weekend getaway. It was our slice of paradise here on the west side of the island and it was bliss. The suite / cottage we received was basically like a small house. Very quaint and idyllic. Like a private bungalow where you feel like a rock star on your own private island, I felt like this. It was a surreal experience to feel this way for a short while. Everything in the room was perfectly placed and everything was in working order. Why stay in when you have an entire island to explore? The bedding was comfortable and you really didn't need air conditioning. All is peaceful here. It was the first time coming here this island and it was great. Wish I could do this more often but I need to save up for my traveling to the US mainland in the coming year and run more marathons. It was the perfect get away from life. Overall, it was a joy coming here and recommend to anybody who needs for safely detox and unwind from the stress from daily life to come here to Molokai to true paradise. The people here and the aloha spirit has been found. No wifi, no Internet. Best place to declutter and truly unwind. Support local! A+

Molokai Outdoors is located inside the lobby area of Hotel Molokai, so it's very convenient if you…read morehappen to be staying at any of the hotel's rooms. They offer various tours, including Molokai Forest Reserve and Anupuka Dune & Mokio Preserve. Now keep in mind that because of weather and seasons, tours may be affected and there is also a minimum number of participants required for the tour to run. I went to Molokai in February 2024 and I was looking to do both of the aforementioned tours, though I could not do the Molokai Forest Reserve that day because of bad weather and muddy conditions and also because I was the only one signed up that day, so thankfully I opted for the refund in those circumstances. However, I was able to go on the Anupuka Dune & Mokio Preserve tour the following day because weather conditions were more favorable, though our tour guide Ally came across some really muddy conditions at times when driving the 4x4 van to and from the preserve in West Molokai. Overall, Ally did such a wonderful and fine job of navigating our group and explaining the history behind the preserve as well as allowing us to get off and explore the region and capture lots of photos and memories. We even stopped at Pono O Hale Beach and Halena Beach towards the end of the day to explore and/or relax for an hour! Anyways, I hope to be back soon to do the Molokai Forest Reserve tour with this organization (I'm told the summer months tend to be better times to do this).

This small shop is located at the Molokai Hotel. We stopped in after checking out the restaurant…read morebar, and was pleasantly surprised by the high quality inventory they have. Although it may be small in size, it is HUGE in customer service!! Dallas, the young man behind the counter, went above and beyond when it came to helping find what we needed. I wanted the aqua Sunshirt,but the only sizes hanging were Large to 2XL. After checking the computer, his inventory said there was a Medium in stock and he proceeded to go through every large plastic storage container in the shop! Sadly, after all his effort, the shirt was nowhere to be found. I purchased the Large size, but left him my name and number in case a Medium in ANY color might be found. We were barely a mile down the road, when Dallas was calling to tell me he had FOUND IT! . After we left, he called the owner for further inspiration and was directed to the only box he hadn't searched, a small cardboard one. We turned around and headed right back! We all are living in a time when good employees are so hard to find, and often, it is the younger generation that seems to lack the skills of good customer service. Well NOT at Molokai Outdoor Activities store!! Although Dallas had already "made the sale", he went over the top to make this customer happy! Give that man a RAISE!
