I was referred to Excel Window Tinting & Car Wraps by a friend when I was starting a new business. Money was tight, so I was looking for a fair deal. After we agreed on a design for my truck wrap, I was told it would be completed quickly. Instead, it took about three weeks before I got my truck back. At first, the wrap looked fantastic. Unfortunately, that didn't last. Within just a few weeks, parts of the wrap started peeling. I reached out multiple times and received little to no response. When my business didn't work out, I asked about having the already-peeling wrap removed. Even though it was failing, I was told it would cost me another $500 to remove it. To make matters worse, when it came time to pay, the final price was significantly higher than the original quote I had agreed to. That was a difficult surprise, especially since I was already on a tight budget. Fast forward three years: this truck has only been driven about 8,000 miles, yet the wrap is badly discolored and peeling in multiple areas. I specifically remember being told there was a five-year warranty, which gave me confidence in the purchase. I finally gave up one of my days off and drove back to the shop hoping to resolve the issue. The experience was incredibly disappointing. The owner seemed more interested in being on the phone than helping. At first, they actually suggested the peeling was a paint problem. I had to remind them, "You wrapped this truck." Only then did they acknowledge it. After that, there was no meaningful follow-up. I was told they didn't know who I was, couldn't locate my information, and that I needed to find my paperwork. I was then told the warranty was only one year, which completely contradicted what I remember being told when I purchased the wrap. From my perspective, I was misled about: The completion timeline. The final price. The warranty coverage. The level of customer service after the sale. And according to their records, I apparently don't even exist as a customer. I paid roughly $4,000 for what I believed would be a professionally installed wrap backed by a long-term warranty. If I had known it only carried a one-year warranty and would be peeling and fading after only 8,000 miles, I never would have spent that kind of money. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Excel Window Tinting & Car Wraps. I would encourage anyone considering a vehicle wrap to ask for every promise in writing--including pricing, warranty terms, and completion dates--before committing.

He was always communicative, prompt and friendly. He offered for us to come out to the showroom and see the windows and doors in person. I went with the Milgard Trinsic Windows and Doors. Second, the install team was excellent. Every day, they arrived on time and hit the ground running. Having a number of contractors for projects over the past 5 years, this team has been the best. I moved out of the house during the project, but I stopped by daily and everything was always cleaned up and in order. Third, I really appreciated the effort and thoroughness on the last day of cleaning the exterior and especially the interior of the house. The team takes great pride in their work and you can tell that is 100% employee owned. If I had to say there was a down side, its you may be in for a wait when placing your order because their work is in high demand (the first year quote, I would have had to wait 4-5 months). Finally, the windows and doors are beautiful. What a difference this made in regards to temperature, sound, and clarity. Not to mention, the ease at using the doors and the contemporary narrow frame modernized our home. We could not be happier.

I can't really find the words to express how grateful I am for the service provided to me. From my initial phone call to picking the car up I experienced amazing service! I called around 10:30am 6/20/17 to get a quote - that was less than competitors, dropped the car off around noon with the expectation it would be worked on the next day. To my surprise, I received a call around 5:30pm saying my car was ready. When I picked it up, I was greeted with smiles from employees returning from mobile service. They weren't the ones that worked on my car, but they were so pleasant that you would have thought they did. The windows were secure with tape and the inside was completely vacuumed. It takes a special experience to get me to yelp. Marcus and his team were amazing. He is a very kind and made a horrible situation turn into a really good one. My car window was broken by a car thief. I called a couple of places to repair the window, and most were either closed, and friendly, or unavailable. Marcus said he could get me in, charged me an incredibly reasonable rate and did an awesome job. I did not wait long nor did I feel like I was being taken advantage of. Mike at Mobile Auto Glass was the best. Our windshield got broken at a baseball tournament in Portland. It happened later in the day Saturday. Sunday morning I started calling around and almost gave up. I got ahold of Mobile Auto glass by 9am. They asked me some good questions to help with solution. What great service and Marcus is a funny guy. The small back side window on my mini van completely freakishly shattered when the sliding glass door opened. Happened around 11:30 pm with snow forecast for the next day and this is the car with the studded tires. Called first thing in the morning and spoke to Marcus who called around and got a replacement window within about 30 minutes. Drove to their shop and was out of there within about an hour and a half with all of the glass cleaned up and a new window, in time for the snow to start falling. Life saver. read more

The manager Ariel was so helpful and nice. When they quoted me a price that was little higher then a competitor they matched the price and came out the same day when the competitor had days wait. When the window wasn't the correct one at first (because I left out some information) they came right back out. Then when it was a little sticky Marcus came out again ASAP and checked out the problem no charge and they offer a lifetime warranty! I was blown away by the customer service. This Auto Glass business were very helpful in a time of need. The back window on our Honda Odyssey was broken on Tuesday. My husband and I were headed back to California on Thursday. Mary one of the owners was very accommodating, she said they had the glass and she would help me with calling my insurance. I noticed a chip in the corner of the windshield of my car. I have no idea how long it was there but I wanted to get it fixed before the crack spread across my whole windshield. They were able to turn it around in half a day and cleaned up all my interior from the shattered glass from my accident! I woke up to a shattered back window on my car a day before I went out of town for a week. They seem pretty busy so I don't know if they're the fastest shop if this was during the week. But they were very nice and I really appreciated having a place take care of things on a weekend. Maybe a slightly overpromise and slight underdeliver but all in all would come back here if we needed service.

They replaced my windshield in March, and it's leaked ever since…read more After many calls they finally sent someone out to check the leak but blamed it on clogged ventilation drains and cleaned them out. By the next day it was raining and my car is still getting soaked from water flowing in under the windshield/dash - literal puddles of water inside the car. The inside of my car now reeks like a bag of sweaty socks. I've had to remove all of my interior carpet and will likely have to replace it - a very costly issue and the owners can't even be bothered to return my call to fix the original problem they seem to have created. There are companies who will stand behind their work, and in my experience this does not seem to be one of them. Buyer beware.

I had a terrible experience with this company…read more I called to get a quote on a windshield seal leak for my '16 Outback. They quoted me $120 for labor if they could repair it without removing the windshield, and $250 if they needed to remove it. They asked if the windshield had been replaced, but I bought the car used so I wasn't sure. They said factory glass is less likely to break during removal. The address associated with the business on Yelp is only 4 blocks from my house. After they took my info, I confirmed the drop-off time, which is when they said they would come to me. I said I didn't mind bringing it to the shop because it was so close. They said they recently relocated and asked which address I saw on the site. I told them the cross streets and they confirmed it was the correct address. So the next day, I bring my car in, only to be met with confusion by the business owners. They said they contract with Alpha for auto glass work, but are not associated with them otherwise, and were not notified about my appt. I explained the situation and they took my keys. A few hours later I get a call from Alpha saying my leak is fixed and the car is ready to be picked up. I asked what I owed them. He said $220. I had a meeting I needed to attend to in that moment, so I said I would call him back. After my meeting, I reached back out and asked if they needed to remove the windshield. He said no. So I reiterated the quote I received from his associate the day before, and suddenly the price was now $120. I walked to the shop to retrieve my car, payed the business owner, and got in my car to leave. I examined the area that needed repair, and the corresponding leak, only to find it was still leaking and the windshield seal stripping was still pulled away from the windshield. I went back in and told the business owners what I discovered. They immediately refunded my payment and I showed them the leak just to verify my claim. They were very kind and apologetic, and ensured they would cease contracting with Alpha immediately. So now I'm in limbo, with mold growing in my car, after three weeks away from home, and returning to discover the issue. Nothing is resolved and I'm feeling very discouraged. In short, I do not trust or recommend this company. Not only did they not do the repair, they tried to charge me for labor that they didn't do. Hard pass. Find a different auto glass company for your repair needs!

They ordered a new one from Toyota, but it arrived broken and Toyota said it was literally the last one they had, so Collision found a used one locally and Frank installed it in my driveway the next day. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Collision!
