Great service. I took my 1993 Dakota in to have the felt runs and beltline wipes replaced. I had already failed to do the job myself and almost ruined the seals when I dropped it off to them with the doors in pieces on a Sunday. I picked it up today and everything was perfect; the runs and wipes looked great and the windows rolled (manual) up and down with ease after decades of hard cranking on the handle. I called mobil auto glass the day I found out someone smashed my driver side window out....I was very dearest and did not have vandalism on my insurance, Luise answered and assured me he could replace it first thing next morning at a very reasonable rate, I was so stressed as I am on fixed income and in hardship,i went in and a lovely young lady cared for me, tv,coffee,friendly response,as it was a bad experience having been violated at my home destroying my vehicle window.I also lost my wallet in the mist of the whole expense and I called to hope it was there ..the last place I was.... the young lady ran out where my car was and found it. My friend dropped his car off Sunday then went to pick it up later that day. The owner said someone will come to the shop but he needs the payment first. My friend said that he wants to see his truck first before paying, understandably so. I personally would never pay for service before ensuring that service was provided. The owner in a snappy attitude responded "See you tomorrow at 8 then. We had people drive off without paying." First of all don't passively insinuate my friend will do that, comparing him to some trash people you've encountered in past. The only trash here was your attitude. Second, you guys had his key fob that costs twice the price to replace. Do not go here unless you want to be treated like a POS. read more

This is the second time I have reviewed this business, and this time things were amazing. The price was half of what I was quoted at a well known chain location in Portland. They were able to get me in right away. Then did a minor repair to the rubber molding at the bottom of the window, they vacuumed part of the interior, and they we efficient and very friendly. The job was completed in a very reasonable amount of time. Yesterday my Truck was broken into over by Grand Ave. I looked all over the pdx area for replacement glass before the winter storm hit and they had it in stock and ready to install next morning. They said 9am appointment but got there early (8:15am) and were very professional, diligent and friendly. I had no issues with them being early, was glad to see them. Quick service time( maybe 30 minutes) Quality work and they were out before the appointment time had even "started". They even spent time getting the loose glass that was hard to get!! Wes who made the appointment and removed the window and replaced it was terrific. What a polite, nice guy. He removed the back window door piece of my Jeep that had been popped out of the rubber seal. The glass was intact. They kept it overnight. Wes gave me an estimate on the phone: $95- $150. When I returned he said the paperwork was missing, but we went out and put the back window back on the hinges. He is a great guy! Then he had to call his boss for the price. $175. More than the top of the phone estimate. I don't mind paying people for their work. I did assist Wes in removing and replacing the window, he mentioned that it took 3 people to get he glass back inside the rubber seal. Did it take 15 minutes? ($212 an hour) 30 minutes? ($116 an hour) I won't recommend this place nor will I ever be back. I should have just gone to my own mechanic to get the glass back into the surrounding rubber. I thought an auto glass place would be best as they are experienced and it would be quick and easy. Although Wes was great, I left feeling angry and taken advantage of. read more

They were able to find our window replacement and get us in right away! They were very professional, kind and fast. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars was because after we left there was still glass in the area where the window rolls up and it scratched the tint. Hands down 5 stars! If you have insurance to help with your payment, leaving you to only pay the deductible, they do that here and it was effortless. I just called my insurance company, filed my windshield claim, provided Mobile Auto Glass's info and that was the last I heard about it. I called another shop and they were booked out for 9 days but they serially referred me to these guys after I explained my time constraints. That just blew my mind. These guys came to our place and literally had our windshield swapped out in an hour! Convenience at its finest. They even offer same day service upon availability! And the best part you ask? It was the same price if not cheaper than any place you would take it to, leaving you either stuck sitting in their waiting room while they swapped it out or worst dealing with rides to/from. When I called originally they offered to come pick up the car if I couldn't safely get it there myself, which was a huge relief with all the broken glass. The lobby isn't anything fancy but the person I communicated with on the phone and at the shop was very professional and helpful. Not a good option if you want to use your insurance policy. I have a low glass deductible and my insurance lets me chose my service provider as long as they agree to their price metrics/guaranty of workmanship, so when my car window was broken out I read reviews on yelp and thought the this place would be great to work. The guy I spoke to was very nice in looking for stock to replace my window, but it got weird once insurance was brought up. He initially said that they work with all insurance carriers, but when I said that my insurance would just need him to give them a call so they could authorize him to perform the work he started trying to convince me to not use my insurance and to pay him out of pocket. I tried to explain to him that I had a low deductible and the price he was quoting was 3x that amount, at which point he tried to tell me he could beat insurance deductibles. I told him what my deductible was, and he said that he would have to give me a call back. Surprise, I never heard from him again and chose to go elsewhere. I was disappointed to not be able to have the same positive experience that many other reviewers had, and wish that he had been straight forward from the outset that he does not in fact work with insurance companies. And, if at the end of the call he had concluded he didn't want to work with me, there was no need to leave me hanging by saying he would call me back. read more

The true measure of a service company is how they handle problems. Typical Portland fashion my rear quarter glass was broken and car burglarized. It was a fairly rare piece of glass. The glass they originally found wasn't quite right. I called them and told them the problem. They said they would take care of it and they did. I didn't have to bug them or chase them down. When the correct glass came in two weeks later they called me and came right out to put in the new correct glass. Top notch service company! read more

This place is so so wonderful! I called Marcus on a Sunday because not only was my windshield cracked but my driver side window wouldn't roll up. Where I live only has street parking and rain was getting in. I needed a garage for it ASAP.
