Because my Toyota is 20 years old, Safelite told me they could not get an OEM replacement, and they would not install a used one. Gene and Brad conferenced me on the call they made to Safelite, who ironically handle all of the window claims for Liberty Mutual, and got approval to replace my window. They ordered a new one from Toyota, but it arrived broken and Toyota said it was literally the last one they had, so Collision found a used one locally and Frank installed it in my driveway the next day. I needed a windsheild replacement because safelite messed up my rockchip repair. Collision Auto glass made the process sooo easy. They got me on the phone with Geico to file my claim and were able to get me an appointment right away. I had unfortunately had my drivers window broken into near Alder Street. Collision was super fast with their response and the price was lower than with my insurance! I called it in and gave them my make and model and they had the part in house so that made the wait less than average. Frank came out about an hour and a half later with the right sized window and got it installed in under 45 minutes. The price quoted, $285, was indeed what I had to pay so that was a great feeling. Do not go to Safelite. We have a 2009 Fod Ranger and needed a rear panel glass replaced that has been discontued. Safelite said it would cost over $500 to get it replaced. We call Collision Auto glass and they referred us to a junkyard company that only wanted $44 for the glass and Collision only charged $125 to install. Much better deal than Safelite. Hopefully we never get another smash window, but if we do, we going directly to Collision Auto Glass. Brad was great to work with and he saved us a ton of money and heartache. read more

My 2015 Mazda CX-5's windshield seal was coming loose all along the top. I called the "Safexxxxx Repair, Safexxxxx Replace" folks, and they wanted nothing to do with it. "We only do repairs on glass we install". Ok fine. Driving home and stopped by Pro Automotive to see if they would fix it. Remarkable in every way! Professional, efficient, conscientious, skilled, staff completed an expert install of our windshield in a new $190k custom Airstream - Mercedes van. There's a lot of technology is this windshield - including a layer of wire throughout the entire windshield for de-icing. Plus all of the cameras which required calibration after windshield install. As it turned out, very rightfully so. Thing is, it wasn't so much the job they did (which was perfectly fine) as the exemplary service I was afforded. Anyone that follows my reviews knows how much importance I place on service. So much so that I will literally drive out of my way for better service than a similar business who's service level doesn't measure up. For the record, after a working life including frontline customer support positions, I am something of an authority on the subject. That said, I can definitively report that Collision Auto Glass delivers service in spades. The front desk is handled by Kai - a very friendly, knowledgeable, and considerate young man. Fair to say he possesses some of the best customer service skills I have every seen. As I waited for my car, I listened as Kai took phone calls and a couple walk-ins. He never faltered. He was honest, patient and sincere in every interaction I witnessed. To say it was impressive doesn't seem enough. For example, he asked me to go into the service area because the replacement glass had a very minor defect and Kai wanted to call my attention to it rather than be quiet and install it. After some discussion as to options I greenlighted the glass. That's called integrity. I also found another staff person to be friendly and whom engaged me in casual conversation. Stellar service like this is all too uncommon but to which all businesses should aspire. I heartily recommend any glass replacements you need be referred to Collision Auto Glass. Extremely pleased with my recent experience! These folks are SO helpful and responsive. I had a rapidly growing crack in the windshield of my BRAND NEW CAR thanks to a rock that got kicked up by a big rig in Boise while I was on a cross country roadtrip in July. I needed it replaced ASAP as I was going to be back on the road a few days after I arrived in the area. Now, i had owned this fancy German import for only about four months, and it had fewer than 15,000 miles on it, so there was no way I was going with generic aftermarket glass. Luckily , the guys at Collision completely understood my concerns. They not only worked with me to get a legit factory windshield a full week quicker than the area dealerships were able to do for me, but they also squeezed me into their schedule a day earlier so that my trip would not be disrupted. So lovely of them. But wait! That's not all! They then proceeded to finish the work in about 3-4 hours instead of the entire day, and at a significantly lower price, because my specific SUV model did not actually need an expected camera calibration. Wow. Such integrity! These guys could so easily have not bothered to tell me about this. They could've just collected the original quoted price after keeping the car all day, especially since they knew I was going to be submitting a claim for the replacement to my insurance company. Date of service: 11/14/2022 @ 07:30 I have a 1997 Toyota Land Cruiser...I'd been getting water in and on my floorboards during the rain season and what I THOUGHT was plugged sunroof drains, was incorrect. My shop indicated that they spotted a bit of the windshield gasket popped up and that was more than likely where water was getting in. Since they no longer did this kind of work, they recommended Collision Glass. Now, let me begin by saying that the glass gasket for an 80 series Land Cruiser is very specific to do...and the previous owner apparently didn't know this and, by extension, the shop they took it to didn't know this either. Collision Glass KNEW about the 80 series Land Cruiser and exactly how to set the gasket...apparently, it's a helluva process. I provided the Toyota OEM gasket and they did the work; I had my vehicle ready to go within a couple of hours and they even provided me photos of what was beneath the old gasket...a little bit of corrosion which they cleared with a wire wheel, primered it, and then sealed the new gasket correctly. I'm beyond happy with the outcome; the gasket looks great and seems to be holding without any water coming in. I'll definitely recommend to my friends who own an 80 series Land Cruiser, or any other vehicle for that matter.
