They didn't really seem to care. I called two other places, who said they should have known exactly what part to get, given they had my VIN. I don't think I'll go back.

After I rescheduled, a representative called to state that aftermarket glass was unavailable and they needed to source an OEM window from a dealer. They offered to waive a $40 recycling fee to compensate for the resulting 10-day delay. At no point during this call did the representative disclose that the OEM window would increase the cost of the service. ​When the technician arrived for the installation, he requested and took possession of my vehicle keys before disclosing the price. Once he had my keys, he demanded a payment of $812.00. When I disputed the charge, he stated the price jump was due to the OEM glass--information that was withheld from me until the technician was physically on-site with my keys in hand. ​I spoke on the phone with a manager named Max. He admitted to severe communication failures on their end but refused to honor the original quote, offering only an inadequate $100 discount. Withholding a massive price increase until a technician has physical possession of a customer's keys is a coercive and deceptive business practice.

I received calls the next two days where they didn't use my name, referenced the wrong insurance company, and didn't seem to note that I had said I would reach out. I left messages for the estimator on Monday and Tuesday and never received a call back. Frustrated with the lack of response, I went in a week later to cash out, no one asked questions or attempted to assist, they just punched a few buttons on their keyboard and said insurance would follow up. This confirmed my decision to take my business elsewhere. I shared the experience with my insurance company, who at least apologized for what happened. None of it the end of the world, but when there's a multitude of other choices, I'd prefer to go with one who seems interested in my business.

On 3/9 a tech came out and did the measurements. He wrote everything down on what appeared to be a piece of scratch paper. I wrote down my email address for him and I was told they would email me the quote. A few days rolled by and I hadn't received anything. I ended up waiting until that Friday to call and ask if I would expect the estimate anytime soon. The gentleman said they were working on it and would have it shortly. On Monday 3/16, I had still not received anything. I ended up waiting until the following Friday, 3/20 to call again. The gentleman I spoke to said he would call me back but never got a call back. I have a pretty busy life so it's not easy to have to keep calling a business to get them to provide a service. I ended up calling again on Monday, 3/23. I told the gentleman who answered (sounded like he was working from home vs. a shop like the previous calls) that no one had gotten me an estimate and it had been over 2 weeks. He seemed genuinely apologetic that no one had gotten back to me. He located the estimate order but the tech had not entered any notes, which didn't surprise me considering he wrote them on scratch paper. I told the gentleman this was the last time I was going to call because this was my 3rd time calling. I re-verified my email address and he assured me he'd get a hold of his tech and get back to me. Today is 3/26 and I still have not heard from anyone. I will have to find another company that actually wants my business.
