That said, I had great customer service, an air filter check (was explained with patience), coolant (they offered me an addition service, explained it, and didn't push me at all when I declined, tire pressure checked and filled, fluid top off, and I believe one other thing I can't recall. I think garages aren't innately bad or good. It all depends who's working. This place clearly had seasoned people leading the crew.

I said no the first time they asked. Then I said I'd have my husband check it. They told me to call him and just kept hounding me. Confusing me by stating pricing for that and an oil change. I just wanted to get out of there. They never checked my tire pressure. Then when I got home, I realized they didn't use my coupon and the front of my car was FILTHY from their hands... so now I also have to pay for a car wash. I actually went back 2 more time that same day and had another car and my motorcycle inspected Very polite and friendly reception every time. Great group of people working there! But to BLATANTLY lie to my FACE and tell me that my battery is going when I know for a fact it is completely fine is something I will not stand for. My usual mechanics keep track and inform of everything that is the matter with my vehicle. I enjoy traveling frequently to the point that I require an oil change every month. Guess what they do when this happens? They check all my stuff. And I do mean all of it. Then I go behind them and check it every week just for sh*ts and giggles. I gave JL the benefit of a doubt and took it for a second opinion at Advance. Guess what? Cold cranking amps were completely fine! Better even! When it was NBT I was a loyal customer four years as it…read moreswitched over I kept going because some of the people were the same recently I made an appointment for 8 o'clock in the morning and they could not honor it. My car was making noise when I went. They told me they couldn't see my car and sent me to a guy that works on vehicles. The guy that works on vehicles said he check my oil which wasn't true because later after him telling me that I was OK with driving this vehicle wherever I wanted to go found out two weeks later I have absolutely no oil And a few weeks before that, I asked Mavis if I needed my oil change and they said I could wait. Have they looked at my car that they even checked the oil or gave me the oil change when they couldn't look at it for the noise I wouldn't have had to wait a week and a half to see the dealership that also said it was safe to drive. come to find out, I had absolutely no oil and that I would need major engine work per Bell And Bell which I do not trust. I was so freaked out and scared that I traded my car in for a truck which I should've taken more time but they had me so scared to drive it at that point all this company had to do was check my oil and I would've known where I stood weeks before ending up with no oil The mechanic they sent me to a was burning something and I was sick for days a day and a half, I was dizzy from being around the fumes of the place they sent me to who also did not help me telling me the car was safe to drive till he could take a look at it which is when I went over to Bell And Bell after calling them asking them to just let me know if it was safe to drive if I would be hurting the car or dangerous which they told me it was safe to drive. Isn't that funny I'm by myself. I'm a female. I don't know how to do a lot of things on cars and the guy that the Mavis sent me to had me go get transmission fluid from advance and because they never checked the oil I was right there. I could've got some oil. He said he was gonna check it but never got around to it. Obviously, I was assuming he did because he said he was going to I love that car but I wasn't gonna spend $10,000 at Bell And Bell which more than likely would've been if I thought about it and went somewhere else, but I am by myself and I can't be without a vehicle because I don't have anyone to help me.

They checked and everything was tight according to them. What they did find there was oil spilled on the engine and plenty of it. Said the guy who changed it should have wiped it off. Granted oil does spread all over concrete even in not so large amounts. What we found on the driveway was not small and continued for a day or two in different spots. We are now stuck with an oily engine and driveway. We may be able to clean both but should never have had too. Beware and do check your vehicle before leaving if you ever decide or have to use their service. We now need to use a cleaner for both that may be hard on the environment. Beware of all oil change places! Years ago we had one break off a dip stick - how does anyone ever manage to do that. They all over charge and always find something else to up charge you for.
