This morning, I had the unfortunate (and common) Oakland experience of waking up to find several cars on my street had been broken into, including my girlfriend's car and mine. What's more, they broke more than one window on each of our cars. While filing a claim with insurance, it became clear that the vendor the insurance wanted me to go to wouldn't be able to fix the windows for several days because it was a holiday weekend. So, I looked around on Yelp and found Mobile City Auto Glass, which had stellar reviews. I called early in the morning, which was a Saturday, and spoke with Oscar. He said he could come to me, fix them that same day, and quoted a very reasonable price, so I set the appointment. Oscar arrived on time, expressed sympathy for the situation, and got right to work. He was very professional and polite, and worked diligently to vacuum all of the broken glass snd replace the windows. He worked efficiently but did not rush, which I greatly appreciated because I wanted the job done right. He did a fantastic job replacing both vehicle's windows and they look good as new. I certainly hope I don't have to go through this again, but if I do, I won't hesitate to call Oscar. He does great work and will have you back on the road in no time. read more

Rarely do I write reviews (this is my second ever), but, Oscar did such a WONDERFUL job and was so SPEEDY and AFFORDABLE. Not to mention he was an absolute pleasure to work with. I got my sunroof bashed out in the middle of the night parked in my driveway. Needless to say I was pretty upset. Upon calling Oscar he said he'd check to see if he could get the part on a Saturday and call me back in 10 minutes. He was able to order the part and pick it up and came to my home and installed it that same day. I know it wasn't easy with all of the glass that was stuck in the sunroof mechanism but he successfully completed the job. He also asked me to test the mechanism out several times to ensure it was functioning properly, which it did with no problems. The whole thing from my initial call into him, getting the part, and completing the repair (including other jobs he was working that day) took an entirely of 6 hours and I had a brand new, certified sunroof and was back on the road that evening. The assailant must've really wanted our second-rate car radio because they managed to yank out and significantly damage the console for the power windows.
