Incredibly fast and affordable service. I texted them on a holiday weekend looking for a quote to replace my passenger side mirror. They kept in contact until businesses were open on Tuesday and then were able to service my car same day. I was quoted $550 by one place and $850 by another but Sky Auto Glass did the entire job for $210. Mirror looks good as new and is still functioning properly. I got my window broken into in Oakland, messaged them about it that night, got a reply and consistent communication when they opened early in the next morning, and got an appointment for less than two hours away from scheduling!! They had the best price of all the quotes I got, arrived in a timely manner and finished in about 20-25 minutes. They even gave my car a complimentary vacuum after without even saying anything about it. On two separate occasions Evelio has replaced both the windshield and the rear "quarter glass" on my Subaru Forester. I have a winter package on my car so when I asked him to assure me that the windshield had the requisite heating elements and power interfaces he not only told me that could get it, he then physically showed me as well when he arrived. He and his colleague got my window fixed very quickly and even vacuumed up all the glass bits. I did have a problem with the door lock getting stuck, probably from a broken piece of glass that fell into the door. I contacted Evelio and he sent Jorge out to help meet with me at a convenient location near my workplace. Jorge was able to troubleshoot and fix the door lock very quickly as well. He also tested and showed me multiple times the door lock working, and let me test it out as well. I was reaching out to different companies hoping to get help with my rearview mirror. I got my windshield replaced last year and unfortunately, the plastic trim that attaches to the windshield fell off. I wasn't sure if that was covered under warranty from the previous company, which is why I was reaching out to different companies. Evelio informed me that it should be and I should reach out to them to see if they could help. The previous company that fixed my windshield said they would be able to take a look at it, unfortunately we couldn't align with scheduling. Instead of Evelio trying to grab my business by saying he can fix it for a cost, he informed me that I should check the warranty with the previous company. Called on a Saturday about water leaking into my minivan, and Evelio came over in less than half an hour. Took him about 90 seconds to diagnose that the problem was not the missing windshield gasket, but actually the clogged sunroof drain. (Note to self: avoid cars with sunroofs in the future!) He removed a few parts in the interior, flushed out the drain, then also took the extra time to check the three other sunroof drains as well. It's also worth pointing out whenever a service person does NOT take your money to do work that doesn't have to do with the actual problem -- a big sign of honesty for me. Evelio inspected my windshield, but said we could wait to replace that, as well the missing gasket since that wasn't where the leak was coming from. But based on that, you bet I will be calling back when it's time to replace the windshield. read more
