I was traveling and stopped by this shop as I had my IPAD 2 with me that was working, but had random issues from freezing apps mid-game, a small crack running along the side of the screen, and dents in the frame from my toddler throwing it across the room causing the home button to only work 50% of the time. Kenny was there so I dropped off my ipad for inspection while I went to look at other nearby shops. Within minutes, Kenny called me back with a full breakdown of all the issues he found and even texted me a screenshot of other items like missing screws and glue residue that had been sloppily smeared in my device from another repair shop that had previously replaced my screen. The screen never sat flush in the case after that repair and even though I had gone back twice, they never fixed the issue so I just gave up. After completing the repairs this time, my ipad runs like Brand NEW and the cost was even less than the last time I had only replaced the screen! Kenny swapped my entire back casing, replaced the cracked screen, and showed me several tricks to prevent the apps from freezing up...it's been a week now and it is running perfect! I had an awesome experience here. I cracked my iPhone 5s screen and he was able to fix for the cheapest price in town, $65!! He also offered to put a tempered glass for an extra $10, so my total came out to $80 (including tax). Another great thing is he only took 30 mins to fix it. Love this place! I took my son's iPad in initially to get the cracked screen replaced. Very easy to find near Gym/Dance studio inside East Hills Mall. He was super friendly, very polite and greeted me with a smile as I walked in. Said he'd have it ready within the hour and kept his promise! Screen was like brand new again (even given the so-so, excessive use of glue that my husband's friend did the last time it was cracked and charged us way more than Mobile Heroes.) It's easy to get 5 star reviews when the transaction goes well, but it takes exceptional service to get 5 stars when it doesn't and that's just what I found with Mobile Heroes. I took my iPad Air 2 in after I shattered my screen. Kenny was upfront over the phone that he didn't have the part in stock, told me to call around to see if anyone else did and if not give him a call back and he'd order it (queue up some points for him encouraging me to talk to competitors just so I could have my iPad back quicker). When the part came in, I dropped off my iPad for repair and he gave me a timeline on when I should get my iPad back (same day, which was awesome). An hour or two before that timeline was up, I got a call from Kenny. He told me he accidentally ripped the ribbon for my home button and that he'd need to get a replacement, my iPad wouldn't be done in the promised time (queue up some massive points for 1) good timely communication and 2) taking responsibility and not coming up with a story like "hey, when you dropped it, it also ripped your home button ribbon, it's going to be another $80 and a few more days while I order it" - good communication and taking responsibility are so rare nowadays). When I finally went to pick it up, he gave me an overly generous discount for my troubles. Good communication, honestly, and taking responsibility are so rare that when you find a service person that's knowledgeable and you can trust, you keep them around and tell all your friends. Kenny's clearly knowledgeable, look at the other reviews, and I think my experience proves that in that tiny fraction of time that things don't go well (we're all human, mistakes get made everywhere), that you're dealing with a trustworthy person that'll make things right.
