I gave Mobile Kangaroo a call and spoke to Ryan, who was so nice, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He provided me with an estimate of the cost and the additional information I was seeking, and confirmed that the part was readily available. I arrived at the location around 11:30 AM to drop off the phone. Ryan was very transparent with me regarding the process and what to expect. I brought my laptop to an Apple-authorized repair shop after being referred by Apple Inc. My computer could turn on but had no display. I clearly told the technician there was no water damage, and it had already been diagnosed as a wiring issue. The technician even opened the computer in front of me and found no evidence of any water or moisture damage. Despite that, he still insisted it was "water damage," relying only on another Apple Store's claim. Trusting their professionalism, I paid over $700 for this so-called repair. After more than a week, they called and said the screen still wasn't working and demanded another $800. When I picked up my laptop, it was completely dead and would not turn on at all--worse than when I brought it in. The technician could not explain what happened, provided zero proof of any damage, and instead showed a "refuse service" notice. On top of that, they charged me a $180 "stocking fee" for no clear reason. This is unacceptable. An Apple-authorized repair shop should be held to a higher standard. Instead, I was charged hundreds of dollars, given no real diagnosis, and had my laptop returned in worse condition than before. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing. read more

5 star experience for sure . Had to take my sons iPad in for a replacement after the charging port broke . They express delivered it to Apple and had it back to me in less than 2 business days! I dropped it off this Monday and was expecting to wait the 3-5 days I was quoted but it was ready today! My son was super excited. It's a little shop , but they seem like they know their stuff . It also covers AppleCare warranty to I didn't pay anything for a new iPad replacement. My wife's 5 years old MacPro, YES, JUST PASSED WARRANTY, is dying, probably either the battery or power regulator issue. Apple support recommended this nearby authorized provider for the diagnostic and possible repair. The front desk Jordan quickly explained the process and start the work. All progress is updated through text, phone call, or email depending on your preference. The whole result took and updated about an hour in my case and then you can make the decision for the repairment. The diagnostic fee is $49 without tax. Turned out, it's confirmed that the battery issue and $400+ for the replacement + labor. We decided not to proceed with the repair and took the Macrpo back since it can still power up with the charger constantly conducted and this MacPro is free from her hospital, anyway. But I have to say this is why I am against Apple notebook. $400 for the battery is already enough for a new low-end laptop and ppl who are not in the media/web industry, own expensive multi-thousand dollars Apple Macbooks for what? I'm a software engineer and be great with my $1k less Ace, Dell, Lenovo laptop. What a waste of money! read more

I took my laptop here for a cracked screen, and after they replaced it, the laptop wouldn't turn on. They said I needed a new motherboard and ordered the part, but I took my laptop to the Apple store for a second opinion. Apple informed me the screen replacement was poorly done and offered to send me a new laptop--but i have to close my case with Mobile Kangaroo first. I've tried multiple times to call and cancel the case, but they've ignored me. The technicians are young and inexperienced. Avoid this place! read more
