I've been slacking when it comes to writing reviews lately, but my amazing interaction with one particular employee at CIR named Freddy compelled me to write a review for the first time in a while. I went to CIR today for two reasons. First, I dropped my son's Kindle, and of course it didn't have the case on it when I did so the back cover in the corner near where the lock button is dislodged and I couldn't lock/unlock the Kindle or access the volume buttons. I actually thought that the buttons flew off when I dropped it. Then, a while back I noticed a faint scratch on my iPhone 13 screen and when I messaged CIR on Yelp, they gave me the best price for an OLED screen so I said might as well kill two birds with one stone and go to CIR. When I came in on a Saturday afternoon, Freddy was working alone and told me they don't work on Kindles, which makes sense since they're so cheap and you might as well just buy a new one instead of pay to repair it. He agreed to take a quick look at it and with a tool I didn't have at home was able to quickly snap the back cover back into place and the Kindle works again! It turns out the buttons didn't fall off, they were just blocked by the dislodged screen so that fix took a minute or less. Then it was time for the iPhone. Freddy told me the scratch was on a screen protector which -- as hilarious as this may sound -- I had no idea I had because I bought the phone used. So instead of a $159 screen repair, he stopped what he was working on and quickly installed a new, better-quality screen protector which cost me $15. I was out in less than five minutes. Again, big thanks to Freddy for his honesty and going above and beyond to help me out! I'm truly grateful and will be back to CIR the next time I need a phone or tablet repair. read more

I am extremely grateful that CIR was recommended to me for my iPad repair. My iPad stopped charging suddenly. Of course I tried to self diagnose on Google with no results including just buying new chargers. I panicked because I'm completely lost without my iPad. I had trouble finding iPad service until I was referred to CIR by another device repair shop. I went directly to CIR and explained the problem. They, without any hesitation, took my device and tested it. They explained to me what the problem was in detail. They told me the price and that it would take approximately one hour to repair. I don't remember the name of the kind gentleman that helped me out today, but I am beyond grateful. My son dropped my iPhone into the toilet when I wasn't looking... sigh, everything worked fine but condensation started inside the camera lens and my camera would take super blurry photos. Prior to finding CIR, I went to Best Buy, who told me I would have to replace the entire backing of my phone -- costing out of warranty would have been $200. Even though my camera lens was not damaged. Just needed to be taken apart and dried. They advised me to try drying it in rice... haha. Or to try Apple Store to see if they would be able to accommodate better. The nearest Apple Store is a bit of a drive and I definitely didn't want to waste time going there, if they were going to end up saying the same exact thing. I found CIR on Yelp. And I am so glad I gave them a try! I did, however, walk in about 30-40 minutes before they closed... but the guy said he could still help me. It's been a few hours and no further condensation has started up. I paid a really great price compared to the $200 quote Best Buy was giving me. There is a bit of a dust spec, I believe, that was sort of left in there but I'm sure it could easily be fixed if I were to reach out. Thank you, CIR! read more
