I took my laptop here for a cracked screen, and after they replaced it, the laptop wouldn't turn on. They said I needed a new motherboard and ordered the part, but I took my laptop to the Apple store for a second opinion. Apple informed me the screen replacement was poorly done and offered to send me a new laptop--but i have to close my case with Mobile Kangaroo first. I've tried multiple times to call and cancel the case, but they've ignored me. The technicians are young and inexperienced. Avoid this place! read more

Stay away from the service here. They are kind and cordial but, they do not stand behind their work. Apple sent me here for a new screen and the second my phone got wet, it started to malfunctioning. Worst customer service experience I've probably ever had. They took apart my laptop after charging me for repairs, then said I would have to pay an additional $800 just to get it working again. I ended up just having to get a new laptop from somewhere else. The new laptop cost less than what they were going to charge me. Horrible service. I was trying to explain to the guy with dreads that Verizon is going to cover the costs. He just said that they don't accept Verizon. So why would Verizon send me there.?? I'm not gonna waste 30 mins of my day to drive there for no reason. Not only that but he proceeds to cancel my appointment because they don't take Verizon. He also claimed that my phone isn't under warranty... ok so either you do take Verizon or you dont. If you can see my warranty then you are obviously partnered with Verizon. Again, he tells me my warranty is expired. Tells me my appointment is cancelled and to have a good day in the most condescending tone. I will never go back there, I will make sure anyone I know doesn't go there and so on. Customers service training is needed immediately.! read more

I was gonna go to the Apple Store all the way in Brea because I didn't want to get my iPhone screen and camera repaired by a third party, but I was too lazy to drive all the way over there lol. I'm glad I chose to go here instead! I took my phone in and it took about an hour for the worker to figure out what's wrong with it. He told me that the screen wasn't going to be covered by my Apple warranty, but he was still able to get me a replacement screen without charge! It took 3 days for the parts to arrive after my initial appointment and only an hour and a half to get it repaired when I came back. Unfortunately, they weren't able to completely fix my camera because of some internal damage (it started working normally a day later and then went back to being broken though??), so they just got a replacement which I arrived in 4 days, again no charge! Would recommend for non emergency repairs where you can wait a few days, and BE SURE TO BACK UP YOUR ICLOUD BEFORE GETTING YOUR REPLACEMENT!! read more

These guys are amazing!! I've already had two experiences with them and both times they went above and beyond! The first time I had cracked the glass on the front of my phone and they were able to get it back to me all fixed up the same day. Special shout out and thanks to the mobile kangaroo associate Michael because the 2nd time I had cracked my phone, my charging port needed to by cleaned or replaced, my cameras were acting funky, and my battery capacity was at like 77% they were actually able to get me a new phone and for a $50 deposit fee I was able to take my phone home with me and use it while they ordered my new phone. There was a small lag, on getting the deposit back because of the square app they use to process payments but we got that squared away, thank you Mobile Kangaroo! And thank you Michael!! Recently started hearing crackling sounds in my AirPod pros so I began to look online for warranty information. Through Apple.com discovered Apple has extended a recall for crackling noises and have extended service for up to 3 years. As recommended through Apple's website I booked an appointment at a local authorized service center, Mobile Kangaroo. I arrived at my appointment about 15 minutes early and upon entering the front door, I was rudely addressed by a man at the front desk, stating he needed to finish up a few things and he'll let me back inside in about 15 min. Waited in the car and about 10 min later he poked his head outside and said "you're good". I entered the office and he stated I had an appointment for my air pods. He asked me to sign in by taking a picture of the QR code on the side wall. The QR Code linked me in to a site where i was asked to provide my name, phone number and email...standard account generation. The person then said there's a $19 fee for a diagnostic, upon which would be refunded if the air pods were under warranty. If they were not covered under warranty they would be sent in to a lab to see what the problem was and the $19 could be credited toward repair costs. At this point I was certain the air pods would be covered because my purchase date had not been more than 3 years old. I proceeded and gave the man my AirPods. He looked up the serial number and took a couple pictures of the air pods. Within about 2 minutes he stated that the air pods were not covered by warranty and it probably was not worth it to have them sent in to the lab because the cost of repair would be the same as buying a new pair. He then blew me away by saying, "so how would you like to pay the $19 fee?" I asked what fee? He stated the diagnostic fee. I replied what diagnostic? All you did was look up my serial number? He condescendingly replied, you agreed to the terms by signing the check in agreement, feel free to sign in agreed and read the policy. I calmly explained, a diagnostic requires examining the product, evaluating technician or mechanical issues and diagnosing an issue. All that was done was a product serial number look up. He continued to state I agreed to the terms and I agreed to the fee. At this point I realized there was no point in arguing with a scam business and a person who was only interested in collecting $19 from customers under fine print policies without any intention of providing real customer service. I immediately contacted Apple Customer Care, filed a complaint, and discovered from my own files that the air pods were purchased well within the 3 year recall warranty. I scheduled an appointment with the Apple Store. Upon checking in with my appointment, I was told that my air pods were in fact covered under warranty and furthermore they would run a real diagnostic free of charge. About 15 minutes later my technician came out and said the air pods failed the tests and in fact they would provide me with a brand new pair. I was pleasantly surprised how easy the process was, in light of how terrible of an experience I had at Mobile Kangaroo, which I thought was an extension of Apple. Customers should be aware that even though Apple may refer customers to device providers through their website, they have no direct affiliation to these third party businesses and especially have no jurisdictions on how scam businesses like Mobile Kangaroo operates. Hopefully others experiencing theses types of issues will have an opportunity to read this review and stay clear of Mobile Kangaroo in Ontario, CA. read more

I reached out to them regarding my iPhone 12 Pro battery change out. Because I travel a lot and I am hardly home I requested remote assistance and so it can be easy for me to quickly stop by once and get the battery replaced. They acknowledged, ran the diagnostic remotely, ordered the battery and accepted payment online so when I got to the store I just had to drop the phone and it was ready in less than 2 hours. Terrible company and horrible service. I brought my son's iPhone for a simple battery replacement and ended up with a broken phone. First the camera didn't work so we brought it back and they said it'll fix itself. 2 days later the touchscreen stopped working. Took it back again and was told there's liquid inside. Well, how did the liquid get there? We didn't do it. The phone came to them without one single issue except the battery life. They returned the phone with liquid inside and blamed us. They didn't take any responsibility. They don't answer phone calls and we had to drive there 3 times a day to get updates just so they can give us the runaround and shoot us away. I demanded to talk to the manager or owner and was told they passed the message but they can't disclose their numbers. There was a guy there to pickup his phone on the same day and was told they couldn't fix his phone too. Yes, they broke his phone too and yes, they also denied it. Don't get tricked and don't trust them with your phone! I should have read all the complaints before I went. Never again! read more

Made an appointment today with Mobil kangaroo to replace the battery in my iPhone X. I made the appointment for the next day at 11:30 AM and we're going through the steps to book the appointment and it brought me to a page that had a separate diagnostic charge or diagnostic and keep? I called the phone number and the person I spoke with was very monotone and couldn't give me and exact direct price to replace my battery and he didn't seem to care, nor did he seem to want my business. This person might be very tech savvy, but kind of a strange personality. I wouldn't recommend them. read more

Mobile Kangaroo were very friendly and explained throughly what was needed for my Apple Mac Pro. They are Apple certified. (I took my Mac Pro to Best Buy and they said it couldn't be fixed.) Communication was good and work was done in a reasonable time. The only thing was they want payment up front, which is kinda risky, but they did great work and my computer is like new again. The dude at this place looked so bored and disinterested. He did not give me a chance to explain my problem. He said it will be 2 weeks before i get an answer. All watches are sent out. I came to mobile kangaroo because my iPhone unfortunately was no longer charging with the cable. I arrived and was immediately greeted by Michael who was wonderful the entire time you could tell he knew what he was doing, which made me feel better. he charged me $20 and ran a diagnostic and was able to identify that my phone had some kind of internal engine issue. He explained the process of how to order the parts he was going to order the parts and I could return again on Tuesday once the parts had arrived there he would notify me and I could then come to the store. So I did. I dropped off my phone and returned an hour and a half later to pick it up completely fixed like nothing had ever happened. The $20 was refunded to me and the fix which was like a $700 value was completely covered with a manufacturer warranty. like I said before, I hope this company appreciates the good employee that they have and even rewards great customer service skills with a little bit more money per hour . it would be completely deserved. Made an appt through Apple website to find out why my Apple Watch battery is lasting only 4 hours. My watch is about 2 yrs old. The guy just looked at it and said since my watch isn't covered by Apple Care, I need to buy a new watch and he can order for me. I asked what's wrong with the battery. He said the battery is depleted. I went home. My husband looked at it and closed a bunch of apps for me on the watch, and my watch is now working fine and the battery is lasting all day again. This business is awful. I originally thought they r legit since the appt is through Apple website and that I would get similar service as Apple store, but definitely not so. I would suggest going to an Apple store and not go to these 3rd party vendors even though they have contract with Apple. read more

UPDATE: On my Googlemaps review, the owner replied and asked me to reach out so we can resolve this issue. I reached out to the owner as instructed, explained what happened, then followed up with the owner explaining that my phone's auto brightness and ambient light sensor don't work. A third tech said the first tech damaged my logic board. My phone apparently isn't even worth the cost of the repair, so thank you Mobile Kangaroo for ruining my custom jailbroken phone. I have an IPhone SE (2nd gen) and the screen was completely wrecked. After looking online I found Mobile Kangaroo as an Authorized Retailer. I set up an appt but ended up having to come in earlier. Alejandro was the specialist working and he was super flexible with my schedule allowing me to come in earlier. He found some issues and notified me promptly. He was super professional and gave me a couple options to consider for fixing my phone. The whole screen replacement only took about 30 minutes. I made an appt thru Apple and this place was the soonest I could get in even though I would have wanted an actual apple store better. First I walk in and the guy tells me its 19$ just to advise me and than says he can run two different test that will be 50$ each and if one of them worked and repaired my phone it would than be 79$ all of which would have been free at a actual apple store. He than told me that there was nothing much I can do basically just buy another phone because apple couldn't do nothing for me which ended up being completely false because I still had warranty on my phone and I was able to get a new one no thanks to these guys. So basically I got charged 19$ just for me being in this shop no more than 5 min and this guy did nothing to help me why apple has them as a apple supporter I have no clue please do not book any of your appt with them I would recommend just going straight to apple store just like I will from now on! read more
