Check in took a bit, there was a long line, and then we had to wait around 15 minutes for the staff to bring out our paddleboards from the boathouse to the launch spot (which of course ate into our 1 hour rental). I believe all of this could have been avoided if we booked ahead! Will definitely be back again next summer, because the spot and the gear is amazing, just hoping the service gets a bit better :)

We rented a pontoon boat from Yarrow Bay Marina for the blue angels today/Thursday. They called us…read morelast night at 4 o'clock and cancelled our boat saying there was an issue with a prop. We had to cancel with two other couples coming out on the boat and then when we got to the dock this morning, we saw them putting the boat back in the water and we said well if it's functioning, can we take the boat out and they said yes. Well the Boat went no more than 6 knots which is below the speed limit in Lake union and we had to go all the way across from Kirkland to Andrews Bay it took an hour. We almost had to call twice for a tow. They still charged us. They gave us a discount, but they still charged us a good chunk of money for that boat, even though it wasn't functioning properly and they claimed we were out for eight hours what were we supposed to do? Just not go out in the boat and not go watch the blue angels? The boat barely ran - literally if we tried to go over 3000 RPMs the boat would just spin out in the engine wouldn't work anymore. When we got there in the morning at 10:30 AM, the entire bathroom was out of toilet paper when we came back at 6:30 PM, was out of toilet paper again. L A very sad excuse for a Marina! Do not ever go near this place to rent a boat that's all I can say. They'll give you a boat that doesn't run and charge you anyway. Stay away!

It is the owners responsibility to pay his workers a fair wage and not have customers supplement what should be a business expense.

There is room for for 6 adults in one boat, how we husband and I both noted it would have been as comfortable with two more people (we only had 4 in our party). 4 adults allows you to stretch out comfortably so nobody is impeding on another's personal space. We went 8-10pm and that was amazing because we had lots of daylight and then a gorgeous sunset decide floating back in, in the dark. The boats have blue light strips and that looks nice at nice! Great choice for out of town guests to experience the beautiful weather, sunsets. Extra long summer evening and a scenery with a fb post :) This business is consistently a guest fav Very unique. We recently booked Hot Tub Boats with our friends for a triple date day out, and we had a blaaasssttt! I was the only one of us out of six who had done it, so it was so fun getting to introduce them to Hot Tub Boats. Upon arrival they asked if it was anybody's first time, and as mentioned it was, so they gave us a 10% discount and free epsom salt soak which was so nice of them and totally unexpected. They got us back into the locker room quickly to pack up all of our stuff and get ready to head to the boats. After a quick safety demo we were out! It's so fun to bring along some snacks, refreshing beverages, and hang out on the lake on a nice day with friends. It was so cool seeing several sea planes landing and taking off! My only complaint is that two hours on the boat goes waaaay too fast. But that just gives me an excuse to book again. :) 10/10 do recommend checking them out if you haven't, it's the perfect day out!

We rented two jetski for the day(4 hour rental) and a facilitator to help us(Osbourne, definitely…read morerecommend him). Because a few incident happened and he was super helpful on them. At first we got there a little late due to traffic, but Osbourne greeted us nicely and helped unload the jetski into the water and such. After we met up with our group at the beach, our first group got on and that's where the incident happened. They got too excited and turned the engine on where it was too shallow, and to no surprise it caught rocks into the propeller of the jetski, which caused that jetski to be unusable. Because of that, we could only use one jetski, but Osbourne was kind enough to contact his company to send out another jetski so our group don't have to be waiting on only one, also there was no extra charge at that point(tho I don't think that could always be the case depending on the damage on the jetski each have caused). But all in all, I'll definitely recommend paying the extra cost for a facilitator, also highly recommend Ohana Kai Watersport for rentals. Aside from the incident, we all had a good time and very much enjoyed the experience. Thank you Osbourne and Ohana Kai Watersports :)

What bothered me was that our waitress looked like they were wearing pajamas. She had on flip-flops, a tank top, and biker/yoga tight shorts and their long hair was down. Didn't seem very professional. Carrying plates of food with hair down is unsafe as hair can easily shed and get onto the plates. Also seemed unsafe to carry plates and glassware (without or without beverages) up and down the stairs in flip-flops. Even at beach bars and restaurants in Mexico etc. the waiters wear closed-toed shoes. We also didn't see her after taking our order; we had to go up to the bar (and a different waitress) to ask for more water and a second round of drinks.
