We had to cancel with two other couples coming out on the boat and then when we got to the dock this morning, we saw them putting the boat back in the water and we said well if it's functioning, can we take the boat out and they said yes. Well the Boat went no more than 6 knots which is below the speed limit in Lake union and we had to go all the way across from Kirkland to Andrews Bay it took an hour. We almost had to call twice for a tow. They still charged us. They gave us a discount, but they still charged us a good chunk of money for that boat, even though it wasn't functioning properly and they claimed we were out for eight hours what were we supposed to do? Just not go out in the boat and not go watch the blue angels? The boat barely ran - literally if we tried to go over 3000 RPMs the boat would just spin out in the engine wouldn't work anymore. When we got there in the morning at 10:30 AM, the entire bathroom was out of toilet paper when we came back at 6:30 PM, was out of toilet paper again. L A very sad excuse for a Marina! Do not ever go near this place to rent a boat that's all I can say. They'll give you a boat that doesn't run and charge you anyway. Stay away!

Once we decided it was time to move forward, he worked with us to build the boat we wanted. The team at SBC has made it an easy transaction. We just received our new R6 Surf. From Shane in Sales to Tony at SkyLaunch and Tommy the Delivery Captain it has been a great experience. Tommy sent me a library of videos to review prior to delivery and then did the on water boat orientation and walk through. He took me through all the systems and how they worked. In general, SBC sells and services high-end boats. They provide a concierge type experience. There are always staff around to answer questions and help you with any issues. They are definitely a higher-end dealer and it is not the low cost place. However, they provide the service and facilities that goes along with the price. Highly recommended.

The staff was awesome at walking us through the safety information and made sure that we got the most for our rental time. They were super friendly and ensure that you are prepared for a fun day on the water. A few things to mention, they did not have rentals for tubes or wakeboards, so if you want to do those activities you'd have to buy your own before hand. The shop also advises you to be 30 mins early for your reservation, and I would recommend doing so, as the safety demo will ebb into your rental time.

The boat we ended up on, the "Sightseer", was not their regular brunch cruise boat but it was still super cool. We went 8-10pm and that was amazing because we had lots of daylight and then a gorgeous sunset decide floating back in, in the dark. The boats have blue light strips and that looks nice at nice! We recently booked Hot Tub Boats with our friends for a triple date day out, and we had a blaaasssttt! I was the only one of us out of six who had done it, so it was so fun getting to introduce them to Hot Tub Boats. Upon arrival they asked if it was anybody's first time, and as mentioned it was, so they gave us a 10% discount and free epsom salt soak which was so nice of them and totally unexpected. They got us back into the locker room quickly to pack up all of our stuff and get ready to head to the boats. After a quick safety demo we were out! It's so fun to bring along some snacks, refreshing beverages, and hang out on the lake on a nice day with friends. It was so cool seeing several sea planes landing and taking off! My only complaint is that two hours on the boat goes waaaay too fast. We rented two jetski for the day(4 hour rental) and a facilitator to help us(Osbourne, definitely…read morerecommend him). Because a few incident happened and he was super helpful on them. At first we got there a little late due to traffic, but Osbourne greeted us nicely and helped unload the jetski into the water and such. After we met up with our group at the beach, our first group got on and that's where the incident happened. They got too excited and turned the engine on where it was too shallow, and to no surprise it caught rocks into the propeller of the jetski, which caused that jetski to be unusable. Because of that, we could only use one jetski, but Osbourne was kind enough to contact his company to send out another jetski so our group don't have to be waiting on only one, also there was no extra charge at that point(tho I don't think that could always be the case depending on the damage on the jetski each have caused). But all in all, I'll definitely recommend paying the extra cost for a facilitator, also highly recommend Ohana Kai Watersport for rentals.
