My Mercedes stopped shifting and I called to see if they could fix it and Marco said tow it to us and we'll fix it. After towing it to them for $185 he called saying he was replacing the brake switch because my brake lights were always on and thought that would fix the shifter. When I dropped off my car I had no issues with the brake lights and they definitely weren't always on but he said he needed to replace it and it would probably fix the shifter issue. After they replaced the brake switch he called and said I needed to tow it to a dealership because they could not fix it and wouldn't release the car until I paid them for the useless part and labor they did costing me $225 plus the additional tow. When it got to the Mercedes dealership they said an ABS error light was on which I had never seen before and the switch Mobile Mechanix put in was faulty. I called and talked to Marco at Mobile Mechanix and told him what the dealership said and he said they were just trying to get more money from me and said it was because I was female and didn't know anything about repairing cars and they were trying to take advantage of me. The dealership then told me whatever Mobile Mechanix did shorted out the ESP module which would cost $1700 to fix. When I confronted Mobile Mechanix, Luis the owner, would not take any responsibility and actually told me to fix my own car myself because obviously they didn't know how to. He was telling me to put my emotions aside when I wasn't even getting emotional and he had no right to say that to me. They were totally unprofessional and took no responsibility for what they did to my car. If you need your car fixed I would definitely take it elsewhere especially if you're female because apparently they like to use that against you. The dealership fixed the shifter issue and now I'm stuck dealing with the brake lights issue that wasn't even a problem in the first place. read more

I set the appointment for Monday morning and dropped my car off. I picked it up a couple hours later and i think it was cleaner than when i took it in. I can't say enough good things about this business except i know where i will be going from now on. Took my car in for a routine oil change and ask him to inspect the car just to make sure everything was good. They later call me advising that I needed a axle. I gave them a greenlight to replace the axle. they call me four hours later telling me that I needed a transmission. louis the owner advisor me to take it to Volkswagen . I then ticket it Volkswagen who informed me that the previous previous shop, mobile mechanics crack my transmission when trying to remove the axle because they did not know what they were doing . when picking up my car from Mike, the front desk guy tried to make me sign a release of liability. I denied now I know why they broke my transmission and did not want to take responsibility for it. Which completely blew my mind because the car was completely drivable upon drop off. Louis the owner is a complete disrespectful person who failed to take ownership of his shops wrongdoing. if I could give a -5 star, I would. this dealership owe me $$$$$$. Here's my experience with the shop: I met the owner a long time ago, he told me he had a shop and if I had any issues he would help me out. He did exactly that. It started from a sensor that went off in my car. I took it to his shop and he fixed it within seconds (it was just loose). How much did he charge me? $0.00... If I would have taken it to the dealership or those other shops they would have tried to weasel me out of some money and time. That was a good strategy to get a new customer by the owner, most people would say. The real test was what kind of quality and price will I get when I return for routine maintenance services. I have to say he kept his word on being low priced and high quality. Ever since then I started taking my car to his shop for simple services. Their prices are good. I live in GA, and went down to Florida to see my mom in the hospital. My car broke down in the turnpike and had to get it towed to my brother's house in Pembroke Pines. I searched for a mobile mechanic and came across this repair shop in Margate, Fl. I immediately knew once I spoke to Bruce that these people were legit. After spending and arm and leg on towing fees. I took a chance and had the car towed to their shop. I can honestly tell you I was very impressed with their honesty, integrity and customer service. My car was repaired in a timely fashion and I didn't even get charged for parts that were ordered but not used, I was also able to see the old parts they replaced. I highly recommend this shop to anyone from out of state or within the state of FL. This shop is owned by a family man and his partner.
