I came into the store today (11/13/2025) and spoke with Mohammed, who stated there was no manager or owner when asked. I explained that one of my tires was low and might have a nail in it. His response was, "What do you want me to do?" which was shocking, considering I was standing in a tire shop. I also noticed that his attitude shifted the moment I mentioned that I drive a Tesla. He seemed disinterested at first, but when I said I'd been there before and had previously received great service, his tone completely changed and suddenly, he was eager to help once he realized there might be money involved. Overall, I left disappointed and uncomfortable with the way I was treated. Based on this experience, I do not recommend this location. read more

Please be aware, I dropped my truck off and went to work, when I came back to pick it up. It wasnt ready. So what was I gonna do? Wait of course! When it was done I left and almost got onto the turnpike when I felt like something was not right with my tires. I turned around and when I got out of my truck the rear passenger side has 3 lug nuts missing 2 of the 3 that were on there were loose. There was mental shavings all over my tire! So on your sign " not responsible for damage to rims or tires"! WOW! You do a half ass job, screw up my rim and your not responsible? Today I went back to talk to the Manager and he said another worker said I rushed him! So you guys lie too? Wonderful Had 4 new tires put on by Mario and my 2021 Nissan Altima is driving like a new 2025 model.Very thorough. They showed the computer image of a bad front brake so also had the front brakes done.The price was the best and fairest of anywhere else and the owner Moe and Matio were nice and knowledgeable. Waited 2 hours for you tires to be changed when the guy told me 1 hour which is still ridiculous after the fact that on the phone he told as him how much for each tire one was 120 and the other was 110 and didn't imply it was without installation feee or anything when I got there after the service was done then hits me with 50 dollars installation fee for each tire after a 2 hour wait ridiculous it's a scamming strategy I don't recommend to go here they will tell you a low price then over charge you for other things to make up for it read more

Stay Away ! If you are looking for the friendly , honest neighborhood mechanic he is not here. I will go to the dealer first. After having my car for a day, i called the next day and they said they are working on it 15 minutes he called i was at the gym , I returned the call they bumped the charge 150 dollars (coincidentally the max they can charge with contacting you . ) he forgot to add he had to recharge the ac and replace coolant. I only brought the car in for a serpentine belt and tensioner that is not required. When i go the car back it was so dirty had to spend an hour cleaning the grease from the 'mechanic' who left the ac low cap on the wipers. the check engine light was on when i took the car back , he said why didn't you come back sooner , sooner than 5 minutes i didn't want to run red lights, they did nothing the 'mechanic' said its the speed sensor on the wheel nothing to do with us. ..Luckily I took off the neg battery for 5 minutes the car was normal .They overcharge, dirty your car and generally they give mechanics the dirty name the these scumbags are. I had an oil change on 03/21/2023 cost 50.94. On 06/15/2023 I had another oil change cost 74.29. I questioned the big difference in cost and I was told they had to install a specialty filter. Today, 07/18/2023, I went back to the store to questioned it again and got 2 more excuses. 1st that it was inflation. 2nd that I got away with not paying for the filter before. Note- I've had several oil changes in the past and the price was always about 50.00. Displayed in the store had a price of 39.99 for synthetic blend which my car uses. The Xtra cost is an Xtra 6quart of oil. The standard oil change includes oil, filter and lube. This has been the standard for decades. This is a case of fraud and robbery. I'm going to fight to get my money back. I've sent an email to the business. I wanted to leave a message for Moe, the owner, but the manager refused to take the message. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB if I don't receive a response from the owner. read more

More like 2.5 stars. Went in for rear brakes and almost got an upsell for all four (when I pressed for a "why" the newer salesman acquiesced to my original request for replacing only the rear rotors.) I made a mistake of not doing due diligence before I handed over my car. But afterward found another tire shop that quoted a price 25% less, averages 4.5 Yelp stars, and is the favorite choice on my neighbors Facebook page. read more

This location used to be a Gold Coast Tire. My friends and I had a trip planned to the Keys but when they arrived to pick me up they had a nail in their tire that they needed repaired. We headed over here where I found out that Gold Coast had closed and has been replaced with a Discount Tire Choice. They took us in right away and did a patch for $30 enabling us to get on the road and onto our destination within an hour. There is a decent waiting room but it was filled with the children of the guys who work here. It's spring break so they just brought them work. With three iPads blasting the girls favorite Taylor Swift and Arianna Grande it forced me to drag a chair outside. Anyway the girls are usually in school which they told me about among other things. In addition to tires Discount Tire Choice also does automotive repairs. read more

very upset, called before going and spoke to office guy, told him I had a nail in my tire and needed a plug he said it would be $18.00.  I went over and spoke to him again, and confirmed it would cost $18, he told me to drive around the back and he would speak to the tech.  I drove around and waited, a few minutes later tech came out and said I needed to speak to the office guy, I told him I did, he said he never radioed me (that should have been my first clue) .  I told him what I was there for and he looked at the tire and said ok, needs a patch (which I did not know the difference).  I went and waited, when the vehicle was done I was handed an invoice for $32.  I was furious, we discussed what I wanted and being the office guy and tech did not communicate I was charged for a patch, they made no apology and couldn't have cared less. I spoke to someone who explained to me that a plug is used when nail is in the tread, patch is if nail is on side of tire.....nail was definitely in tread! Beware!!!! read more

Messed up the bottom of car from doing a simple oil change and just kept giving me the run around while I was there. At The same time I was there so were two others complaining about how they messed up the axle on one car and a tire change on the other. Definetly not worth the price and the main mechanic there is a 75 year old man who can barely walk properly. Just save your money and go else where read more

I brought my brand new GMC truck in to get my tire patched on May 6th, 2019. I ran over a screw over the weekend. I asked Moe to please have the mechanic be careful with the brand new very expensive Rim that I had just purchased for that truck. I explained to him that I had a problem in the past with another company where they damaged my rim and ended up having to buy me a new one. Moe put a sticky note on my driver side window for the mechanic saying to be careful with rim. Hoping this was enough heads up for this company and mechanic to be careful, unfortunately the mechanic damaged my rim. The mechanic used the outside of my rim as a work bench. I saw through the window - wtf? Then Steve put a folded up garbage bag on it to protect it, unfortunately it was too late. They agreed to fix it because I took a photograph of my rim prior to them working on it, otherwise they said that they're not responsible. I stopped in yesterday on my way home and asked them why 1 week had gone by and no call regarding my rim. Steve just called me back (May 14th) and said that Moe will follow up on it sometime today. Moe mentioned 5 to 6 days and here we are at day 8 and still no rim and tire. The jury is still out on this company until I get my rim and tire back but so far the guys are nice but I still have no brand new rim and tire for my brand new truck and they keep telling me it should be in soon. Not real happy with Discount Tire Choice in Coconut Creek at this point. ***I will edit this review when I finally get my repaired rim and tire back*** If you're crazy enough to do business with these people, read the red sign behind the counter before you proceed !!! "We are NOT RESPONSIBLE for damage to tires or Rims" !! What a coincidence, hours after I wrote this review Discount Tire Choice called me to let me know my rim had been fixed and was ready to be installed. Duke, the tire installer who damaged my rim offered no apology and didn't seem bothered that he inconvenienced me for 8 days. It almost seemed like he was doing me a favor. No apologies from the manager (Muhammad) either. I DO NOT recommend this company. Stay away at all costs!!! Horrible experience. They are dishonest, outwardly lied to me and would not honor the tire warranty. No CDC covid 19 guidelines are followed. No employees nor the boss wear masks and the hand sanitizer bottle is empty. They said they would need a week to send my tire back to the manufacturer to see if an adjustment could be made or I could purchase 2 new tires of another brand as they cant get my Advanta tire any longer - I think they sell defective or discontinued tires so 2 or 4 tires need to be purchased for the one defective one having less than 5K miles on it. Came in with a flat tire. Instead of selling me a new tire they just patched it up. Works great as new.
