Jahn and Kat are the sweetest most genuine couple you've ever met. I've been coming here since I began undergrad at VCU in 2006 (almost 10 years). Since then not much has changed. The food is still delicious and believe or not the prices haven't changed even when the recession hit. Everything I've had on the menu is delicious. My recommendation: tell them to hook you up and you'll enjoy it! They are good at what they do and with a few hints about your dietary needs, they can make a far better meal for you than you can pick for yourself. Even though I don't live in RVA anymore, I still crave Jahn and Kat's foods. I force my little sister to order my usual Garfield so that I'll be able to have it when I drive into town on Friday night. That's how bad my cravings get. It's been YEARS and they still remember my order! I'm a hothead and love love LOVE their hot sauce. Jahn always takes care of me, it's just hot enough to give me a bit of sweat, but not so much that it tastes bitter. They integrate new sauces and drinks all the time, depending on what they're growing in their garden. I will go back to Richmond just to try their food. All homemade, home grown or local food, freshly made sauces and juices. I used to attend VCU and this car by faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar, I mean far has better food, better quality, better service, have carpet for you in case you decide to hangout on the grass, some games as well. Every time I come here I try a different drink and a different wrap, veges/chicken and they're all DELICIOUS. Even if you are visiting or traveling and reading this, just stop by. This place is all you can ask for in a campus food cart. Delicious, inexpensive wraps: and great beverages. The slightly eccentric owners are some of the nicest people I've met. Very personable and they remember your particular tastes. One of the best places to grab some cheap, wholesome food. John and Kat are amazing and they can create some great food and drinks. I usually get the watermelon tea with coconut milk to drink. To eat, I get their "Monster" with added hummus. All you have to say to John is "make it good" and you know you're in for a treat. Some items that I enjoy more that aren't on the menu can be found on their facebook page. They never charge you more than $5 for a food item; something that can't be found anywhere else for the quality that you get. You best believe I'm a regular! read more

Literally can't go wrong with anything on the menu! The couple who owns the food truck are the chilliest, nicest people ever! They're always so warm and inviting!! I never know what to get so I trust them enough to surprise me and whatever they give me is always good!! It's also so cheap!!! The only downside is they only take cash and I rarely carry cash on me. Mobile Munchies is one of my favorite food carts in Richmond. I started going to this cart while I attended VCU. During the summer, Mobile Munchies comes in handy because most restaurants are closed on VCU campus. I always come back to grab a bite to eat and drink at Mobile Munchies whenever I get a chance. Mobile Munchies is located on Main St. right by VCU Hibbs Hall. The owners of Mobile Munchies are some of the nicest people you will meet. They really take time out to get to know their customers. Each wrap and drink they serve is with love. I always appreciate excellent customer service. The wraps are really good. You can choose chicken or veggie wraps with different sauces. I usually get the chicken wrap with multiple sauces, which is tasty and flavorful. The fresh served limeade is delicious! On hot days, I swing by to get a fresh squeezed limeade on my lunch break. The prices are reasonable. A large limeade is $2 (Cash Only). If you're in the area or want a great food cart experience, try Mobile Munchies! Out of all of the food carts surrounding the VCU campus Mobile Munchies is by far the best one. I used to get lunch from here very often when I was attending classes at VCU. Mobile Munchies was really my introduction to vegetarian food and everything I got here was certainly a lot better than anything I would have gotten at the school cafeteria. A few months ago I found myself back in the neighborhood and was happy to see that Mobile Munchies was still around. I ordered one of their veggie wraps with rice and a nice ginger peanut sauce that was very delicious. I also got their raspberry tea which was also very good. The couple who own the cart are very friendly and good at making suggestions based on personal taste. They make all of the sauces themselves and have a great selection of lemonades and teas to choose from. The prices are also very reasonable. The best part was that they remembered me even though I hadn't seen them in well over a decade. I can't wait to get lunch from here again the next time I'm in the area. read more
