Erika Carillo remembers my pets like as if it was yesterday and Dr. Englehart always reads my other cat's chart from his cardiologist. They are quick to work with insurance and are very thorough. Dr. Carillo caught my cat's early stages of HCM through an x-ray when he came in for constipation! I have noticed some staff changes recently, and I might be biased since I LOVED her old front desk people, they were quite nice. I was also pleasantly surprised to see Dr. Carillo and how she remembered my cat, Soup. Pros: thorough, flexible, and quick with insurance. Cons: a bit pricy, but to be honest, you get what you pay for. I understand that not everyone can afford payments, but I believe they are willing to work with you.

Our new puppy was pooping blood and we were very concerned about that. We wanted to get her in right away. Thankfully, this veterinary hospital had an appointment. The veterinarian was great. Very thorough with explaining testing and treatment. They ran bloodwork and requested a stool sample. We got some prescription probiotics for her to take with food. The bloodwork came back good. Just waiting on the stool sample results. In the meantime, the prebiotic and probiotic powder is helping. This is a very good veterinary clinic. They were super professional and seem to be very knowledgeable about canine health.

They are kind, attentive, and truly care about the animals they treat. My senior dog received treatment and blood tests at a fair and reasonable price, without being pushed into unnecessary procedures or extra charges. That level of patience and care is hard to find, and I really appreciate it.

My search led me to Dr. Cruz's phone number on the Humane Society's website. Upon calling and explaining the situation, he promptly requested photos and advised us to bring Luna in immediately. Dr. Cruz assessed her and recommended urgent surgery. His price for the mass removal, medication, and follow-ups was extremely reasonable. We agreed, and Dr. Cruz performed the surgery the same day His dedication truly stood out: he texted daily, inquiring about Luna and requesting photos of the surgical site. A week later, when Luna developed an infection, we rushed her back. Dr. Cruz was again fantastic, performing an emergency clean-up and remaining diligent with her aftercare. He was always accessible to answer any questions regarding Luna's surgery and recovery. I am happy to report that Luna has fully recovered. Because of this positive experience, we later brought my mother-in-law's other dog, Lucas, a long-haired dachshund, to Dr. Cruz for neutering and a dental cleaning. Again, the pricing was more than reasonable, and Lucas recovered without any issues. We drove about an hour to see Dr. Cruz, and it was absolutely worth thetrip. I highly recommend Dr. Cruz and his facility for all your pet's medical needs. Your pet will receive excellent care from Dr. Cruz and his staff. MUCHAS GRACIAS DR. CRUZ!

Starting with our two cats, Loki and Minerva, at first and then seeing our new additions of a new kitten and a husky puppy in the next couple of years. The entire staff is amazing. Everyone is friendly welcoming and truly cares about the animals they work with. I even recommended Sunnycrest to my boyfriend and his dog and they love it as well. My dog, Meatball, gets extremely stressed and can be difficult during visits but the staff handles her with so much patience and compassion. They never make me feel bad and always make sure she is as comfortable as possible. Dr. Lee has done dental work on both Loki and Minerva and was incredibly thorough. She also performed Meatball's spay surgery and did an excellent job including a very thoughtful follow up appointment. Dr. Dimitra was the first doctor to see both our new kitten and puppy and made those first visits feel calm and welcoming. Dr. Tomko is also very knowledgeable and confident, and you can tell she truly cares about her patients. And the vet techs, they are the heart of the place!!! From when you first walk in, you are greeted with a smile and a welcome. It really makes you at peace. They are also knowledgeable and is the first person of the building that makes you pet feel comfortable before the vet comes see you. As you get checked out, they answer any questions and assist you. I have also called the office many times about questions and they were always so quick to get answers. What really sets Sunnycrest apart is that they never pressure you into services. They explain everything clearly and help you understand what is best for your pet while respecting your decisions. Sunnycrest Animal Care Center is hands down the best veterinary office I have ever been to, and I am so grateful to have found them.

I found this very clean nice hospital on yelp and scheduled a wellness physical. **** - for the check in process, took a little longer than I expected but not brutal. ***** - for the staff, all smiles, super nice and spoke professionally. Even courtesy laughed at my dad jokes. ***** - Dr Suh seemed kind to me and definitely genuinely cared about my dog's health. She asked a bunch of age relevant questions AND I actually was in the exam with Holly and got to go through the whole thing with her. It was a nice personal touch to be there and having everything explained to me as she was doing it. Our pets are our children, and this felt like a small town personal doctor taking care of my child. It was a nice break from the big corporate chain treatment. ***** - my dog has a heart murmur which we've known about for several years, but this is the first Doc to order a proBNP (A protein presence test that demonstrates possible severity or strain the heart is under). This was new and just showed how well she knows her job and actually cares. Overall, I will be back to receive care here as beyond feeling welcomed, I found a competent Doc who isn't just about ordering every test under the sun to rack up the $$$$. I should probably write a negative review so that she doesn't get so busy I'll have a hard time seeing her, but it was a good experience with qualified professionals. So hard to find in todays day and age.

After surgery I go to pick up my dog and all seemed well until I got home and found a golf ball sized amount of dried up blood on my dogs shoulder blades. Ends up the vet could not do something as easy as a microchip procedure. Had to drive back to the vet to remedy the situation. The amount of blood that had to be cleaned up for a simple microchip was astonishing.... - To further illustrate how amateur this Vet is. Dog had it's declaws removed as well. Had to wait 5 days to remove bandages. Upon removal, one side of his legs looked normal while the other side had 3-4inches worth of stitches!!! If there were any complications, nothing was mentioned to me. Vet seems very amateur at best and in my opinion should not be operating on dogs if he turns what should be a 1inch incision into 3-4 inches.... - Vet was deceptive about pricing. He will make it seem as if everything listed in his estimate is required. I found after the surgery from talking with others, many items in the estimate are optional. I would not mind paying his prices if the services were exceptional but sadly his service are below par. - This Vet is money hungry. I noticed the day of my dogs operation, there were so many other animals booked to be neutered/spayed as well. I got the feeling the Vet books way too many appointments to fill his greed and ultimately cannot provide the animals the attention they deserve while going under the knife. As a result his work looks amateurish as best. STAY AWAY

I would give 0 stars if I could! My husband and I have taken our dogs here for 10 years and we used…read moreto love it when we were dealing with the old owner, Dr. Starr. The new vet/owner Dr. Jung is very unprofessional and isn't educated enough to be running an animal hospital. We brought in our senior dog with an eye issue, looking back it was obvious it was glaucoma, but we have never dealt with anything like this. So we scheduled an appointment the day after the initial onset of symptoms. The vet didn't know what it was so he just prescribed her antibiotic for $400. (Looking back that sounds outrageously expensive, being that there were no blood tests or labs done. All they did was dye her eye and check for scratches, which there were none.) I tried to ask more questions but the vet already ran off to do a surgery and couldn't answer any of our questions! (It almost felt like he didn't want to deal with us and the "Surgery" was a cop out) They didn't tell us to come back for a check up and told us it could take a while to "clear up" so we waited a month and it only got worse. Now my dog is BLIND in one eye! If he had caught it sooner she wouldn't be blind, and we could've saved about $1,000 from going to another vet as well as an eye specialist. THIS CAN BE FIXED WITH EYE DROPS IF YOU CATCH IT EARLY LIKE WE DID!!! The specialist told us it was most likely caused by cataracts - which Dr. Jung never mentioned. How can you say you are a veterinary professional if you are not looking for /don't know what cataracts look like on a 14 year old dog?!?! Before the issue we had with pepper's (senior girl) eye, we got a new puppy after our senior girl (poi) of 20 years passed late last year. He had 1 round of vaccinations with paper documentation from the vet when we got him. Dr. Jung ended up convincing us to come in for another 3 rounds of shots. We asked why we needed the extra round of shots, but our questions went largely unanswered. Since we had been coming here for almost 10 years, we trusted the Dr. (not knowing Dr. Starr had retired a little over a year ago.) It turns out, the extra round is regarded as unnecessary by most veterinary professionals. Do not go to this vet, words can't describe how appalled, devastated, heartbroken, and disappointed we are with the new vet/owner.
