DO NOT GET A REPLACEMENT SCREEN HERE!! This is the first Google review I have ever written because I am that angry at this place! I had an iPhone screen replaced and it had terrible resolution. The brightness of the colors was noticeably different, but that was not even the worst thing. The pictures were blurry if you tried to zoom in and sometimes you had to click on something several times for the screen to work. Also TERRIBLE customer service at this place. Their lead technician told me not once but twice that I could get a refund if I had any issues. He told me that when he installed it and then again over the phone. When I went to get a refund he told me that they didn't do refunds but that he could replace my screen again for a better quality screen. I had already told him over the phone that I was going to Geek Squad to get an actual iPhone screen. He lied to me about getting a refund and made me waste my time going back there. read more

My experience with Phone-Techs was quite positive. I came in around 6:30pm on a Saturday (closing is 8:00pm) to have my Samsung S3 glass repaired. They were up front with pricing and told me exactly how long it would take for the repair. So I cracked my screen and needed a quick repair found mobile luv near my house and decided to give them my business as they had the repair fixed within the hr. Unfortunately I had to return 5 more times over a 2 month span to get fixed what should of been fixed in the first place. They replaced the screen but now the screen pops up, my home button gets stuck. If you need a repair please don't go there. Worst experience ever. They charged me $100 and I should of took my money to Apple at least I know I would of gotten what I paid for. read more

Horrible experience. They were full of lies from the second I stepped in... First it was "yeah no problem just sign here" with a scumbag grin. "It'll be done by 5:30". 5:30 comes around... "it'll be done in a few days", a few days comes around "hey is my phone fixed?" - "No and woops we forgot to call you and we're not sure if we can fix it" - "WTF? Why did you waste my time?!" - Them in a cheeky holier than thou tone "well you can come pick it up and go somewhere else". Not sure what these bogus reviews are but from a true story perspective if your reading this you are the kind of person that wants to prevent a mistake from happening. I will save you and your phone from repeat stress and complete rudeness from the staff who could care less. One moment they will tell you one price, then repair your phone and tell you a price higher and tell you they can treat you the way they want they have "customers all the the time" and "we don't care about your business." And even if you read this and take a chance on them you have a very high chance of getting back your phone with a feature broken like wifi and have to deal with them all over again. Point is...you want to gamble do it in a casino and not your expensive very important phone and take advantage of this being a big city and go somewhere else with someone else that cares more than the 2% of what these guys will. read more

I went here to fix a cracked screen on a mini iPad and they charged $120 plus they told us to get a tempered glass screen for another $25 which sounded like a good idea. We were told it would be ready the next day but got a call and said its not ready and they were supposedly waiting for a part. Anyways it took 2 weeks to be done. We picked it up and about 1 day after the screen fell right off. It wasn't sticking to the iPad. The whole screen not just the tempered glass. So of course we went back and they said to fix that would cost $120. Unbelievable!! Clearly they didn't fix it the first time so they want us to pay again to fix it. I would give them zero if i could.I took my daughters Ipad for screen replacement. There was a crack on the glass nothing major other than that ipad was in great condition. First they collected money from me up front 107$ before they changed the glass which is alredy weird. Lady was rude from the start like she was doing me the favor. I needed this fixed quick since my kids were traveling so i said fine and left ipad for repair. When i got my ipad back all 4 corners of the aluminum frame were completely bent like they were opened with screw driver. I purchased a tempered glass cover for my iPad. Before i received the iPad back i was charged $50.00. The tech did a very poor job cleaning the glass underneath so many spots from dirt showed through. I said this was unacceptable and that it looked terrible. The tech removed the tempered glass, then said there was nothing he could do and that i could not get my money back. I walked out of the store with no glass, and $50.00 poorer. Basically i got robbed. This is company that refuses to stand behind their work. They are crooks. Use them at your own risk. read more

This is the worst phone repair place I have ever been to. I brought in my phone with a Broken screen, and after being charged 140$, I recieved my phone and immediately realized that the screen was not placed in the phone frame, but rather on top of it. I told the manager and she said that the screen did not fit in the frame, as I had dropped it and altered the shape of the frame, but that it shouldn't be a problem. (I knew this sounded like bs but I let it go) However, within one week the screen had fallen totally off my phone and when I went back to complain, no one would even speak to me. Initially when I called Phone-Techs to get a quote on the service I needed I was quoted $50. When I arrived in store I was told the price is actually $60. I should have turned and walked out but apparently I'm a masochist. The technician told me I can come and pick up the phone the next day after 6pm. Once I arrived, I was told "Oh you told me you had and HTC Design but its actually an HTC EVO 4G so I ordered the wrong part." Aside from the fact that I would assume a PHONE TECHNICIAN would know what kind of phone he's looking at regardless of what I said I was not called to be informed that I didn't have to drive in the horrible Aventura traffic. They have very poor customer service. It does not end there; I was told to come The following week Thursday/Friday. So this time I called beforehand and not much to my surprise at all the rude little girl working the counter told me that my phone was still not ready. I was informed the rude technician had an emergency and left early and wouldn't be in the following day either. OK so in order not to have high blood pressure I just let it go, came in on Saturday and FINALLY picked up my phone. All I got from the rude Phone Technician was a half ass sorry and the little girl at the counter didn't acknowledge me. Needless to say this store is a waste of time and money. They have horrible customer service and offer no incentives after the stress they put me through. RUN to another store. read more

This is the most unethical, dishonest, and unprofessional business I have ever come across. The technician is amateur at best. The glass on our Samsung S3 was broken, but the phone was working when we arrived at the store. After he "fixed" it, it never worked again. He not only did not accept responsibility, he was disrespectful, rude and volatile. He took advantage of a teenage girl who did not have the life experience to handle his manipulation and deflection. When called to task, he disassembled the phone entirely, without permission. He only had permission to change the glass. His work was shoddy and destructive. I took the phone to another IT professional who strongly suggested this guy ruined the phone. Phone-Techs aren't qualified to work out of their car trunk. The manager is equally rude and recites a script instead of addressing the incompetency and unethical practices of her staff. There is no integrity or moral compass here.
