Lastly, Accorn Stairlifts are the " Yugo/Edsell of stairlifts which is to say all consumer reviews state they are junk.

I got him on the phone, and he said he had to find out some information from his friend in New York, which was on a Friday afternoon. I called back on Monday after not hearing anything, and he said he needed to contact his friend again to get the information about fixing our particular Stairlift model. No response, no callback, so on Tuesday I called and wasn't particularly happy that I hadn't gotten a call. He retook my address and sent out a local guy named Clide, who was friendly and super knowledgeable about these chairs. He opened them up, replaced the batteries, and put the chair back on the track. He tested it and verified that it was working perfectly. I highly recommend this company, but stay on top of the manager or owner a little more than I should. If you need service on a chairlift, this is the company with the most knowledge in the area. Recommended!!
