Positive experience purchasing vehicle, however afterwards has been a different experience involving service. I purchased vehicle in November 2025 here it is March 2026 I am riding around with expired temp tags, but to be fair, dealership did provide letter to show if we had problem, but fourth months. What has prompted me write review, is last week, I had service appointment for van to be picked up on Wednesday 2/25. Appointment was made a week in advance, so, late into Wednesday afternoon I called to inquire about pickup, while on phone with service, I heard Mike talking to another person, who confirmed for whatever reason, my appointment had been erased from schedule, okay, things happen. Mike, in service is very professional & respectful. I was told van would be picked upbearly Thursday morning & returned Friday. Van was picked up late Thursday afternoon to be returned Friday. Meanwhile, Sherry, sales person called Friday about another matter, and said she would check on time of van delivery, now mind you this was Friday afternoon. Next day Saturday, was to be nice weather and I was looking forward to taking my son out to enjoy. Unfortunately, my adult quadriplegic son's wheelchair was with van for fitting. Late Friday afternoon, time passing, no one called to give update on delivery, so, not only was son without van but stranded without his wheelchair. I attempted to contact dealership, one person answered phone, sent call to a voice mail. I immediately called back and heard recording business was closed. I am a disabled veteran. Unfortunately, I am familiar with lack of consideration when it comes to depending on others for some of our needs. I suggest that businesses that pro$per from the disabled community, make respectfulness a priority. read more

Our Salesperson is Sherry Jones. She is fantastic! If every salesman/woman was like her, the world might just fix itself. She stuck with us for 2 years until I got exactly what I needed and wanted. Her tenacity is only outweighed by her truly caring heart and understanding of my needs, and I am so please with the outcome! Mobility works is a wonderful place to go for Disability needs, becuase the whole shop works towards the best outcome for the client. I recently took delivery of my 2018 Chrysler Pacifica. The work and fabrication that was put into the vehicle was outstanding. In the past I was the only one that could operate the vehicle now my wife is able to operate the vehicle with just the turn of a knob. The personnel at Mobility Works was very professional at assisting me and answering any questions. The sales staff at Mobility Works went above and beyond to make sure that all of my necessary accommodations were met. I highly recommend Mobility Works and have sent several of our friends and family to purchase their vehicles from them as well. read more

As the past employee of this store, if you need to buy a wheelchair accessible van, I advise you to go elsewhere. The company itself is quite dysfunctional and senior management is inept. They hire via corporate nepotism (no experience in a technical field) to protect each other and hence, the business and customers suffer greatly as do the employees who are totally unappreciated. Not to be overlooked is the completely inadequate service department. The techs do great work, the manager is honest and forthcoming, but if you need service, pack a lunch, because your vehicle will be tied up for, well, your guess is as good as mine. They refuse to staff properly and once again, the customer suffers. This will obviously be interpreted by the company as sour grapes, but I assure you, its quite the opposite, I have thirty plus years as a successful GM having won numerous awards and recognition etc.. Lastly, the average profit this store makes on people who are already physically and financially challenged is sinful. Think of a ridiculous number and double it. Visit the Toyota store north of Baltimore that will sell you a similar van and cost you thousands less and the guy is great to deal with. So, do what you want, but I advise you to seriously shop around and whatever price they give you here, know they have thousands of dollars of markup in the vehicle. Finding a wheelchair accessible vehicle to take my frail, elderly father out for father's day became an almost a surreal task until I found Ride-Away. I work near this location but live in Alexandria, VA. I tried cab companies, limo companies, medical transport companies and national car rental companies all over the washington dc metro area. Okay, maybe I shouldn't have left it till the Thursday before Father's Day Sunday. Nonetheless, I felt quite disheartened at how challenging this could be. For fundamentally the same price as a last minute rental of a suv or minivan from a national chain, I was able to rent a fully converted for easy wheelchair access minivan from Ride-Away. So easy that I could manage it after a quick 2 minute tutorial (although to be honest my 11 year old did most of the work and leadership getting her grandfather into and out of the passenger side wheelchair locks). I think Rideaway's main business is selling and maintaining vehicles adjusted for disabled drivers and passengers (including motorcycles!). All staff members I dealt with - both locally in maryland and in their national office in NH - were friendly, efficient, and helpful. I am very grateful to have found them. One star off for being hidden in an industrial park that the gps can't figure out and for making me depend on my daughter to help figure out all the controls as there was no manual in the van. But if I need to rent again, or am asked for recommendations for buying an accessible vehicle, I will certainly return to Rent-Away. read more

I needed to get hand controls on my vehicle and it is quite a lengthy process from start to finish. Fortunately the folks here are knowledgeable about the process. It is illegal to drive with hand controls without the proper authorizations, so it's important to understand the process. Their referral to a knowledgeable person were spot on. After your evaluation by a driving rehab specialist , this place orders and installs the equipment. Learning how to use after install is again another place and person. And you will need to visit DMV/MVA to take care of your license. I give these folks 5 stars for knowledge about the process and quality of the install work. These aspects are priceless to getting it done right and getting it done legally. The price quoted exactly equaled the final bill. Like the first reviewer, my GPS did not locate it by address. But keep driving and you'll see it. Big sign out front. I would add that I had been warned by 2 folks ahead of time that they are not quick and don't always meet dates. I kind of agree but I deal with disability issues all the time and have lived with disabled siblings. In the non-disabled environment, there is competition for your business, so when they say it will be done, it will be. I called on Thursday to see if the car was ready; no, it wasn't but I was promised a call back if it was going to be ready for pickup. Okay, never got the call back so added another rental day ($50) to Enterprise. At 8 am the following morning I got a call that it was ready for immediate pickup. The place doesn't open until 9, so I kind of felt as though it was ready on Thursday evening and someone should have called. read more

I rented a wheelchair accessible van from MobilityWorks in Beltsville on 9/5/19 and the process went smoothly. I had already provided my name, license number and insurance policy number to Christian Johnston over the phone prior to the rental day. When I arrived I provided my insurance coverage details and was given a demonstration on how to operate the automatic wheelchair lift and closure of doors. Then I was off. The van was very clean and a full tank of gas. My relative was very excited to get out of his rehabilitation facility for the day. When I returned the vehicle around 9 pm, I parked the van in front of the MobilityWorks office and dropped the key in door slot. I recommend MobilityWorks to anyone needing a short or long term wheelchair accessible van rental. I plan to use them again in the near future. read more
