I reached out to yelp for installation of a dog door. I knew there was some electrical that had to be moved and I wasn't comfortable doing that. Moca responded and they gave me an estimate and told me what they were going to do and issues that may come up. They showed up on time and told me there would be an increase in price before they started. They did the works quickly and cleaned up after themselves and were professional. Great work by them.

Once in a while, you meet super good contractors and Moca Electric is one of them. Carlos took care of our panel upgrade from permitting, installation, and inspection. He provided me with super competitive pricing. Through out the permitting and scheduling process he kept me well updated. On the day of installation, he came right on time and got to work right away. The panel upgrade and relocation took him and his buddy just one day and that's including a Ring doorbell installation as well. His work is clean and he is respectful of the property. They worked very hard hard and competed the job on the same day. During inspections, Carlos was present to answer any questions from the inspector (passed the first time, btw). All in all, I'm so happy I was able to work with Carlos and I look forward to reaching out to him for my future electrical work for my house. Thank you Carlos!!!

No more HOT KITCHEN!!!! Do not know why I haven't did this years ago. Why because I found Carlos by chance. Beautiful work Fan right in the center of lights. Dump that stupid portable fan and electric cord always in my way. Cool down remotely before entering Kitchen. I did not ask for 2 gang switch and Carlos did it for me. It's so much nicer. Top notch he finished quick in 1hour 45 minutes excellent work. Very reasonable and fair price compare to some quote I had. Those Electricians are totally absurd with quoting 250% more than the actual labor price. They think we are idiots. Depend on the job my rule of thumb is parts total cost times 2. That is your labor labor cost plus or minus 12%. Save Carlos numbers for unknown coming project. Very ...very hard to fine a honest Electrician. By chance I found one!!!!!!!! Update 09-10-24: My favorite fan of the house!!!!!!!

Moca Electric is awesome! Carlos is the best. So far they've done a couple of jobs for me. The first one was an easy one - putting up a light fixture in a stairwell. I could've done it myself, but was just to lazy to go to HD and get a multi-position ladder. Not only did they do a great job with this, they didn't blow it off as a too-easy to care about job. They went about it in a professional manner and it looked great when they were done! The second job was a little more involved. I bought an EV and needed a charger installed. Carlos and his helper again did an amazing job! So happy with their hard work and service!

What a breath of fresh air! Carlos was so easy to work with, his pricing was straightforward, amazing customer service, and completed everything exactly as expected. We recently moved to a new home and needed a Tesla wall charger installed as well as a few lights in the house installed into the prewired ceiling mounts. Carlos showed up on time and with a crew (amazing!). They were able to start the wall charger install and the lights install at the same time which was so convenient. The wall charger was straightforward, I didn't need anything special there. When it came to the lights, 2 of them had customizable lengths, and Carlos and his team were patient as my wife and I walked around as they held them up to make sure they would be installed to our desired heights. I've already started recommending Carlos to friends and family. I've had many vendors at our new home and he was one of only 2 that came in, handled the job, and had zero issues along the way!

We have had Carlos and his crew out for quite a few jobs in the past couple of months and we are so happy with his work! We have had a new sprinkler system rewired, recessed lights installed on our outdoor bar (we still need to paint the drywall) and our bedroom, motion lights moved and reinstalled in a new location, outdoor outlet, Ring motion light installed, new outlet in daughter's room and 3 ceilings fans installed. I hired Moca to install a couple of replacement ceiling fans. My house was built in 1939, so I was concerned about the existing wiring, and what issues might run I might run into doing the job myself. Carlos did a great job. We had a 14-50 outlet installed inside our garage and Carlos along with his associate did amazing work. They were professional, on time, and everything was completed to a high quality standard with attention to detail. After the job was done, Carlos explained exactly what they did and he was even kind enough to mount a bracket for the charging cable. Contacted another electrician about fixing some outlets, troubleshooting some issues and adding an outlet. Yelp offered to send the quote request to other electricians and thankful that Carlos was one of them. Others offered appointments a week away, didn't show or wanted to charge for a quote. Carlos came out the next day, gave me his professional opinion and went right to work. Reasonable price, quick, knowledgeable. An hour or so later, we are all good! The electrician did a great job installing my Tesla wall charger. Technician was able to provide us with all the equipment with in the price. Technician was able to install the 2022 Tesla charger with no problems. Took 'hem a week to get the new double switch for the main board 'cause my circuit board was full but he was able to install a new switch from the main board also wired out to the charger as well! I Always have projects going on and I found a awesome electrician. I had a couple electricians that I found on Angie's list that were OK. Carlos took care of all the issues that I had the price was very reasonable. Carlos and his technician found issues and repaired them. They were very clean and no mess left behind. Needed to get a panel upgrade and an EV charger installed. There's an open space between my panel…read moreand my garage, so I was told by other electricians that I'd have to get someone else to break the concrete because they don't do that. These guys were one of the few that could handle the concrete work, and they also handle all the permit work as well. Staff worked hard, finished everything quickly and made sure the work site was clean as a whistle after they finished. Everyone was really friendly, from the receptionist on the phone, the staff and the people giving me estimates. It's been more than a year since I got my EV charger installed, and I haven't noticed any problems since then. Price-wise, I feel it was pretty fair especially considering how they made everything so convenient. All in all, they did everything well. I'd have no problems recommending them to others, and will likely go back to them when I need other things addressed in the house.

TL:DR Reasonable pricing, relatively quick appointments, and good quality work. The downside was…read morethat their communication wasn't great so there were miscommunications between various people there and I needed to be fairly persistent to make sure we moved things along and I got the work we requested. But all in all, I would use them again for sure - just knowing I might have to follow up from time to time. Longer review: we contacted them to give us a quote for a whole house fan and attic fan. Of the quotes we got, they were very reasonable and they also had appointments available relatively soon. The person who came for the quote wasn't sales-y either which was a plus. I won't go into details of the various hurdles to communicate with them but it just wasn't very smooth. When they came to do the attic fan first, they told me they could only do that because the whole house fan had not arrived yet. Then they installed it and forgot to install a switch which was part of the quote. When they came to do the whole house fan a week later, again they didn't know to install a switch for the attic fan. I also had trouble with the invoice. Ultimately, they had a good price and did good work so I'm satisfied but just couldn't give them 5 stars because the overall experience was a little clunky. That said, I would definitely use them again.

Turns out a wire in the outlet they repaired wasn't reconnected so we lost current to the new separate outlet that was chained to the repaired one (luckily was able to find it and fix it myself). Pros: Quick response, good communication, pleasant interaction, repaired original problem. Cons: No warranty/guarantee of service, they didn't double check everything in the area they worked on before leaving (I should have too). When I found a problem after they left (even if it's the same day in the area that they were working on), I would have had to pay a full service fee again.
