The menu is straightforward, with espresso and milk based drinks like lattes and cappuccinos. I opted for a doppio. They have a few prepackaged sweets including biscotti. There are a couple tables and a bench on the sidewalk outside. It was nice to sit out on a sunny day. I spoke with the owner, Danny, and he is looking to add a pastry case with Italian goodies like rainbow cookies and cannoli, as well as a freezer for gelato during warmer months. I'll be coming back to Il Primo Cafe for my espresso fix and am excited to see what they bring in the future.

Had to find a bathroom to clean up. Pistachio flavor gelato was gritty in texture. This is a small outdoor window stall. No indoor or outdoor seating. Final note: Very disappointed that their advertised picture looks nothing like what you actually get. The idea of a hot bun with gelato in between doesn't work. People don't like eating drippy melted gelato. A plain scoop of sorbetto is pretty good. I'd recommend ordering that.

I was surprised because these buns are truly incredible (way better than Fabrique Bakery which specializes in buns) but I understand as it's a gelato place. I have also tried the passionfruit macadamia bar & sourdough bread from here which are both great, but nothing beats those divine buns IMHO.
