I remember first coming here in 2019, and now coming again in 2023, the place looks very similar to what I remembered. The toast was even better than I remember actually, with a crispy toast. So delicious. Loved the pandan filling. There was ice cream and whipped cream on the side too, but didn't use too much of the whipped cream. The ice cream dipped with pandan was yum. Ambiance was very cozy, with light music playing in the background, and decent seating for its tight space. The owner is the sweetest as well. I'm sure I'll be back again.
Cute little dessert shop tucked away in the basement! It's a really small and intimate space so it might be a wait on a Friday or Saturday night. They have really great desserts and drinks. My favorite is definitely the OD toast in both the pandan and Thai tea flavor. The toast is crunch on the outside and soft on the inside, with oozy warm filling. The flavor was very strong for both and I really enjoyed pairing it with the creamy vanilla ice cream. The major downside is that there isn't too much of a service and I have to seat myself. The staff is always super busy so I often have to wait a while to flag someone down. It's a sit down place so tip is required and it's CASH ONLY.
This place is somewhat concealed and can be found in the basement. The space is quite cozy and would be perfect for couples or smaller groups. I had a great experience with their bingsu, and decided to switch things up on my recent visit by trying their mix mountain with boba on top, which turned out to be fantastic! Highly recommended.
Good bingsoo, and great amount for the price - can be shared by ~4-5 people and the total was $15! The mango bingsoo was great! Hits the spot after a yummy meal in the neighborhood! Cash only
Keep an eye out for this cozy dessert spot located on the basement level below an izakaya. They have a varied selection of bingsu and dessert toasts, as well as some other treats. What I really liked was that they had bingsu flavors I hadn't seen in NYC before, like lychee, peach, and milo. We split the lychee bingsu, thai tea bingsu, and the choco sweet layers dessert among 5 people. The lychee bingsu was super fresh and flavorful, and the other desserts had a lot of toppings like boba and coffee jelly. The place is small abd can get crowded but if you can grab a table, def recommend coming here especially after a spicy dinner!
Came here on a Wednesday night and it was the amazing. Limited seating but it was worth making the trip. I ordered the strawberry layers ($8) and the pandan od toast ($12) As I was enjoying the pandan toast, I kid you not, I was about to order a second one! It was so crispy, fluffy and not too sweet. Very balanced! Highly highly recommend. I will be back within the next two weeks for sure. The strawberry lawyer drink was classic bingsu in a cup with rainbow jelly (the one you find in bubble tea). Pretty standards, but did not disappoint. There was only one lady running the shop, which I assume was the owner. She was very friendly and made every dessert very beautiful. The shop itself was a bit difficult to find. In the basement, with steep steps, limited seating, and small store front. But don't let that discourage you! You need to make a trip here to try the od toast!!
Coming back from Hawaii I decided to find a shaved ice place here in NY.. this place is hidden in the lower level with a tight and narrow staircase. The lychee bingsu - extremely unsatisfied with the lychee fruit they put in bc it comes from a can instead of utilizing real fruits. All of these fruits seemed to be from canned goods and stored in their mini fridge for quite some time. There is absolutely no flavor in the ice. I'm left with eating plain ice and the drizzle of evaporated milk. Yuck! Sweet Strawberry Layer - looks good but doesn't taste good. It's all strawberry syrup with fruit jelly and shaved ice in between. There's a small scoop of vanilla ice cream on top - taste very generic. They could've used a better flavored vanilla ice cream brabs with the amount they are charging for each of these cups! $8.50 and I couldn't get a decent scoop of vanilla ice cream. They should use fresh fruits for each shaved ice. There are no dates on those containers, so you don't even know how long it's been stored there.
Solid dessert place in the area that's under ground. Although the cafe is small, it can seat quite a few 2-3 people parties; I wouldn't recommend large groups going. My friends and I shared the mango shaved ice and the shaved ice was phenomenal - so fluffy and creamy; not icy at all. Loved it and will be back!
One of my friends brought me here because it has great reviews. We had the pandan toast, the brown sugar milk tea, a mango slush, and the lychee bingsu. I love bingsu, but usually never order it because they always seem to come in such large portions. I love that they put the condensed milk on the side, as I tend to prefer the condensed milk on the lighter side. I have to admit that when it first came out I thought it looked a lot like sea scallops on a bed of ice, but it was so good, I can't believe we finished it all. There were so many lychee, and at the bottom they had the clear lychee jelly bubbles that burst.
Came here on a whim after an omakase dinner next door. We needed some dessert to top our sushi dinner and I am glad we came. We order the Thai tea & pandan toast/bread, passionfruit green tea, and classify bubble tea. All were super yummy and satisfied our sweet tooth. It's a little cramped inside but also cozy? Will definitely be back for more dessert runs.

Came here after dinner with friends. We stumbled upon it as it was underneath the restaurant we were eating dinner at. It is a cute very small dessert place that gets very crowded. They have bubble tea and fantastic desserts. I highly recommend coming here. My husband and I had milk tea. His was chocolate flavored and mine was taro. We both got lychee boba in. It and it was delicious! My friend and her husband shared the sweet layers choco which is essentially ice cream with Oreo chips and marshmallows. They enjoyed it. We will be back!
Tiny little place in the basement level with six tables. They serve drinks - the kind with bubbles and other thinks. Cold ones, hot ones, slushes etc. There are crafted desserts- Bingsoos (crushed ices with toppings), toasts and parfait types. Tried the OD toast with Pandan and Thai Tea flavors. Came with a small scoop of ice cream. The flavors were inserted into the toasts. I liked the Pandan one better than the Thai Tea because I really didn't get too much Thai Tea flavor. Definitely a place to stop by after eating at the many different restaurants in the neighborhood to continue the stuff yourself till you burst behavior.
This is a combined review of the last several times I went. Yesterday, I got rose milk tea with lychee popping boba. The lychee popping boba is sour. Milk teas go better with tapioca. Out of all the flavors I've tried here so far, nothing beats the rose milk tea. I also like the Thai milk tea but it doesn't beat the rose. The main problem I have with their milk teas is that every time I ask for less syrup (25,50%), I get no syrup. It's either full syrup or no syrup, which means too sweet or no sweetener. With the exception of the brown sugar milk tea, which had a clump of sugar syrup on the bottom, the rest of the times I asked for less syrup, I got none. I didn't realize the sugar syrup was clumped together at the bottom of the cup for the brown sugar milk tea. The 1st sip was extremely sweet since all the syrup came up. The rest of the drink was devoid of sweetener. I've tried the following milk teas recently: black sesame, jasmine, & brown sugar. I didn't like any of these because of the lack of sweetener. Anyway, learned my lesson not to ask for less sweet drinks here. I also noticed something weird when I went a few months ago. The employee had her phone stuck out from under the employee side pointed towards us. Seemed like she was recording. Weird. Anyway, the OD ( Thai tea) toast was sadly a bit too burnt for me that day. When I went again this week, the OD toast was on point. I always get Thai tea filling cream since I've learned from the 1st time that I got the mixed, the pandan has no flavor whatsoever. read more
Small dessert shop in the basement of popular street in Jackson Heights. Shop is small with a few tables and seats. Dessert is very good. I've tried the panda toast and the Thai tea toast. The Thai tea toast doesn't really have a strong Thai tea flavor but it is still very good. Mango shaved ice is very good. Lots of magic flavor and chunks of mango. Highly recommend, especially if you're looking for a dessert spot open later in the area. read more

This was a cute gem that we stumbled across after dinner. It's in a sub-basement so you need to go down one level. The spot is cozy with a decent amount of seating and was fairly busy when we got there. The woman who took our order was very sweet and friendly. The menu has a good variety of options, and the prices are pretty good. We tried the Matcha Red Bean Bingsu and OD Toast with a mix of pandan and thai tea. The bingsu was pretty good and the portion was decent. I love that it wasn't super sweet even after I poured the matcha drizzle. The OD toast was really great and so delicious! The pandan and thai tea oozed out and went well with the vanilla ice cream and bits of cereal. This wasn't sweet either, making it a great dessert that doesn't leave you with sugar overload. Overall, this is a nice spot with some great dessert options, include slushies, bubble tea, and other goodies. It's a bit snug but it's worth a visit if you're in the area and craving some good dessert! read more

More like 3.5; Cute little place that you have to walk downstairs to find. Jackson heights definitely benefits from an asian dessert place and overall bingsoo was really good, fluffy and creamy. The signature OD Toast was good but not mind-blowing MANGO BINGSOO Refreshingly, light, not too sweet, and again the ice is SO creamy. What i love is that they give you the syrup on the side so you can decide how much you want to use for your taste buds. VOLCANO BINGSOO This was really delicious too because they crushed up oreos/ chocolate chip cookies and dusted it with milo powder and have a really delicious and not saccharine chocolate syrup that goes over it. This one I liked more than the mango one just cause you get more of a mix of textures, esp with the frosted flakes sprinkled over top. I love a crunch and the syrup itself wasn't too sweet which i liked. OD TOAST Their signature item that I was excited to try. It's essentially a column of golden toast filled with either pandan or thai tea filling. The filling itself is injected into the toast and it's a cool concept; the flavors of the filling were pretty good and the thai tea had some coconut flavoring as well. I wish the texture was more melty and less runny though, like a custard, because it runs out of one side of the toast and doesn't necessarily stay in the bread. BLUE MOUNTAIN COFFEE SLUSH A pretty standard coffee flavored slush but they did a good job not making it too sweet so the coffee flavor stands out and remains on the bolder side. The ice wasn't super well blended with the rest of the drink so you do get bits of just ice randomly and it's not a smooth homogeneous slush, per se. read more

I visited on a Sunday night after having dinner craving some sugar. Unfortunately, there was no tapioca when I visited, but the drink was pretty good. The sugar for the milk teas were not adjustable and too sweet for me. There was only one employee working at the time and she was very kind and attentive despite it being a bit busy. This would be a 4 star review, but the employee working on the night of (10/24) was amazing and helped bump it to a 5 star! The strawberry shaved ice was delicious. It came with strawberry syrup on the side. I was glad that I was able to choose the amount of strawberry syrup to add on so it wasn't so sweet. There was also a surprise of strawberry popping bubbles at the bottom of the shaved ice! The place is small so I was able to watch them make the shaved ice! The chocolate mountain was also delicious. But I couldn't enjoy most of it due to the fact that I already had all the sugar from the shaved it. But I did enjoy the toast! The ends had a good crispy texture, while the bread itself was soft and fluffy. Tl;dr - great spot for a sugar rush; amazing service even when it's busy read more
Fantastic spot. It's super low-key and way too easy to walk past, but it's a gem if you manage to stumble in. The Lychee Bing Soo is deliciously refreshing. Ice itself is super soft like snow and almost creamy for some reason. Comes with canned lychee and lychee popping bubbles. Favorite dish here is the Pandan OG Toas. It's an unassuming looking prism but it's absolutely stuffed with delicious runny pandan cream. Toast itself is also crunchy but soft. Service is fine though a tad bit slow since it's a tiny shop so there's not much room! read more

I love this spot! For toast if you can't depend which flavor you want, you can get it mixed. I actually like the pandan over Thai tea. The toast is sooo crispy and crunchy. It was so good I got another one to go. By the time I got back home it was still nice and crunchy. I also ordered their mango bingsu which is also delicious! I like how they put condense milk and mango syrup on the side so you can add it yourself to your own liking. read more
Came here with a few friends on a Friday night and got the below desserts. Service was great and the lady was really nice. Tasty desserts and a hard to find place actually since it's downstairs. Overall recommend for dessert with your friends. read more

Sweetory has been on my bucket list for a while and finally we got a chance to visit with a group of four people. The seating is limited and the decor is humble. There was only one staff cooking & serving on a Friday night so patience was needed. We had their Milo Volcano Bingsu, Signature 7 Sons and OD Toast with both Thai Tea & Pandan flavors to share. The portion was decent with reasonable prices of $10-12 and we even couldn't finish them all. Our favorite was the Milo Volcano Bingsu, which was extremely sweet but satisfying and delicious. read more

Randomly dropped by this place after dinner since it was next door. We came around 7:30 PM on a Saturday and the place was full. We ordered the lychee bingsu and the OD toast (pandan). The lychee bingsu was a disappointment (and what made me take off one star). It wasn't bad but I can easily find a better bingsu anywhere. The toast was the real winner. The outside was slightly crispy and the inside was warm, moist, and fluffy. The pandan wasn't overly sweet which I appreciated. read more
PRO TIP - CASH ONLY. After dinner at the restaurant upstairs, my bf and I decided to grab dessert right downstairs because the place looked cute. We ordered the pandan and thai iced tea toast which comes with ice cream but we waited quite a while for it to come out.. maybe 20 minutes? I guess they just had to toast the toast just right but if I was hangry, this is not something to get. Toast wasn't overly sweet and pandan and thai iced tea are actually a good mix! The toast has a good crunch which complements the ice cream, whipped cream and pandan/thai iced tea flavor well. I think if you had the flavours drizzled on top of the ice cream, it might have been too sweet. I would definitely return but maybe skip on the toast if I'm not willing to wait - Definitely have to try their bingsoo next! read more
I found out about this place while waiting for the restaurant right upstairs called izakaya. I saw people walking into the basement part of the building so I followed. There was a cute dessert place. Glad that I saw it and was curious enough to check it out. I recommend this place if you're in the mood for dessert and sweet drinks. Just remember to bring cash. The prices are really decent for the portion size too. We ordered the mountain toast and they ran out of boba so without it. But it still tasted really good as it was the right mix or serving of fruit, ice cream and whipped cream. For drinks I got the lychee slush with jelly mixed inside and the milk tea with brown sugar. Omg, both were so tasty that I would like to try other things off the menu. All in all, I will be going back after I have lunch/ dinner nearby. read more

As we just finished dinner, just wanna somewhere to hang and chat so only ordered one item and shared. If in the area, I would come again to try the other items. read more

Went here with some others. The woman here was friendly. Had a Lychee Bingsoo which was tasty and not as saccharine sweet as I expected. Good amount of lychee (even if likely canned.) The other person had the Milo Volcano Bingsoo which had milo powder, oreo crumbs, chips ahoy, cereal, marshmallow, whipped cream, and a chocolate sauce on the side. Good mix of stuff with a lot more textures so I liked it more. Cash only as noted and hidden below an izakaya on a busy street. Someone had a drink which they liked. Good little spot. read more
This is a small cute dessert spot in Elmhurst. I came here mid-day on a Friday, so not many people here at the time I went, not sure if it gets busy. It was slightly too quiet for me? Felt a little constrained with my volume here. Service here is friendly, I think there's only 1 person who works here? I got the mango bingsoo and the OD toasts (pandan and thai tea flavors). The mango bingsoo was really good! I loved the whipped cream, condensed milk, and mangos that came with this shaved iced! Very flavorful and sweet at its perfection with each spoonful of bites. The toasts were also pretty good, it has a good combo of ice cream and whipped cream to complement the toast. It came fresh and warm which I really appreciate. My only tidbit is that the toast was a little dry although crispy. Nonetheless, good to try! Highlight definitely is the bingsoo in my opinion. Overall cute dessert place, and would come back again if I'm in the area. read more
Do you love toasts? If so, this is worth trying! Small hole in the wall in the basement, easy to miss but worth trying if you're in the area. I tried the Thai tea toast and pandan toast, crunchy and flavorful and not too sweet as a dessert. I personally liked the pandan toast more. I also tried their Thai milk tea, it was more milky than usual Thai tea, I would try their regular milk tea next time since it was sold out. I'd come back! Btw, cash only. read more

Cute dessert spot located in the basement of Izakaya Fuku. My friend and I were able to grab the seating by the window when we arrived around 10pm on a Saturday. As we decided what to order all the seats slowly filled up. We shared the Strawberry Bingsu, which we drizzled with condensed milk. It tasted good with fresh cut strawberries but it wasn't anything too special. I might return if I was in the neighborhood again and looking for bubble tea or desserts. read more
Small but cute cafe guaranteed to satisfy your sweets craving. The shop fits about 3-4 small tables, not recommended for a big group. They have a variety of shaved ices and drinks but my favorite was the pandan toast with ice cream. Toast was made to perfection with a crunchy exterior but filled with lots of filling on the inside. Definitely recommend to try the toast. read more
