Very good food! The donuts are cute and the interior of the store is adorable. The drinks were good also-- the only thing is they didn't come in the clear little soda cans as advertised on their menu so that was a little bit disappointing (hence minus one star). Even with many people, the service here is super friendly and they work quick! I believe the flavors they have varies and rotates everyday, but if it's there I definitely recommend the ube churro and smores! They were all super yummy and gone in the matter of minutes. We also got the thai tea and black sugar which was just okay, the drink wasnt cold due to the boba being piping hot, atleast you know its fresh (': We went another time (not pictured) to try the korean corn dogs and those were pretty good as well! Overall a definitely must try if you're in the area! I'll say it's worth a try. There are not many places in the area that sell mochi donuts (the closest I know of is in Castro Valley/Union City) so I'm glad I found this place. We tried half a dozen; it's a bit pricey. My favorite was the matcha mochinut. Also, my recommendation is to order via their kiosk in store rather than with a cashier--it seems to be more seamless. read more

might be an unpopular opinion but mochi donuts are superior to regular donuts i think the biggest compliment from asian people is "this is not too sweet" and likewise the biggest diss is " this is too sweet. i used to LOVE krispy kreme donuts but as i got older, the donuts became way too sweet for me. even though mochi donuts remain a treat for me (only once in awhile i'll get some), these feel so much lighter and less sugary than regular donuts. mochi donuts also have a nice chew to them and let's be real. the flavors are so much better and more unique. who else loves the fact that they're so easy to share?? literally just rip them by the balls! i also think their boba drinks are really adorable ~$5. they are a little sweet and you can't adjust the sugar but they give you a generous serving toppings and the cup is huge. I've been coming here almost every week since October. Guess you could say that I am obsessed with these donuts! Pretty sure I've tried at least 2 dozen flavors by now and it's hard to pick a favorite, because they're all so freaking delicious! I've also tried a few of the corn dogs and 1/2 & 1/2 dogs. I like the original, crispy ramen, potato, and cereal. The Hot Cheetos was too greasy for me, but maybe it just an off day. Gotta make sure to add some of the tasty sauces from the counter. The Thai Tea and Strawberry Milk Tea are also good. The staff is super friendly and the seating area is very clean. Mochinut has made their way to Concord in the Sutter Plaza. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot as well. The service overall was decent, the employee would inform us of the wait time for the hot dog beforehand. I tried their matcha mochi donut, half and half rice hot dog, and some of their milk tea drinks. The mochi donut was okay - it was not as fresh. The hot dog, which was not as big and it was just decent. The Matcha Milk tea had a strong matcha taste and it was had a good sweetness to it, but it was grainy. The milk tea tasted like a coffee milk tea. The Thai tea tasted like a under sweeten regular Thai tea. read more

Their drinks are good and I would go back for that. But... This is my first time having Korean (I believe?) corn dogs and yeah... Definitely not for me. If you are accustomed to the American corn dog till late adulthood, then you probably wouldn't like the ones here. I got the ramen one and the potato mozzarella and I was expecting a full on savory tate but it's dusted with sugar all over. Its sweet first because you feel that first with your tongue and then it's savory after all the sugar has dissolved. Yeah, I get the corn batter for the American corn dogs have a very small hint of sweet sometimes if you are really trying to analyze it with your taste buds but these ones with the sugar dusting makes it's SWEET without even trying to notice it. Honestly an unpleasant surprise. I only ate like a quarter of each before throwing them away. Just too strange of a flavor combination. I would only get the corn dogs again if they allow you to opt out on the dusting of sugar. They would definitely taste much better for someone used to the American ones. I mean I know they would taste better because once the sugar is gone then you realize it's good. But yeah just a warning for those expecting the American tasting corn dogs and I'm not saying people should avoid it. We were looking for somewhere quick to pick up boba in Concord and since we have tried Mochinut in Pleasanton, we decided to stop here. We ordered an original hot dog, and original half and half, 3 mochi donuts, a black sugar milk tea and a coffee milk tea. Being that it was a Saturday, they were not as busy as we thought it would be. By the time our food was ready, a couple of seats opened up and we were able to enjoy our food while it was hot. The hot dog was good but I enjoyed the half and half more because it had more texture. They put a little sugar on the outside so there is a hint of sweetness. I did not mind it, but it is different. The donuts were great and I noticed that they continued to make them throughout the day. I have been to places that only make a certain amount and it is disappointing when they run out. I think the least impressive part were the drinks. The packaging for the drinks were cute and smart because they could easily be transported since it had an aluminum lid vs. plastic. However, the taste was just average, and probably a little more on the sweeter side for me. I have never heard of mochi donuts before visiting Mochinut. I saw the colorful, fun mochi donuts with irresistible little round bites and I had to try them. At first, I wasn't sure because I'm not a fan of mochi, but it was absolutely love at first bite. Mochi donuts are light, unlike traditional donuts, so it feels like you could eat them forever. I didn't like the donuts :/ first time at Mochinut i stumbled across it on my lunch break dropping something off to UPS. I ordered strawberry and maple donuts. They Don't sell single donuts. Smallest is a pack of 3 for $9. The maple was just waaaaaay waaay too sweet. I enjoy desserts but this was just out of hand. I could barely finish it and felt sick after from all the sugar. The cookie on top was just over kill. If you have a sweet tooth you might like it. The strawberry was a little better in terms of sweetness but tasted like old oil and eggs. Our first experience was in Pleasanton and I remember loving everything on the menu so when I heard that it was opening in Concord, I had to go! Located in the same shopping center as FedEx across park and shop. Parking is ok depending on how busy the area is. We walked in and got greeted with smiles and warm hellos, the place is super clean and minimalistic. We didn't really want boba, but they were doing their bogo promo so why not? Here's what we got: Ube with boba Milk tea with boba(this was the free one) I already tried the brown sugar one in Pleasanton last time so I wanted to try the ube since I'm a huge fan and let me tell you, it did not disappoint!! It really tastes like ube and the boba was really soft! The milk tea was actually really nice as well, if you like the classic taste of a black milk tea, then this will be your fav drink. Besides the boba, we also got corn dogs: Potato, Ramen, and 2 Hot Cheetoh You can choose between cheese and hotdog or just a hotdog inside. My favorite is the one with cheese and hotdog! The Hot Cheetoh and Potato are still my favorite hands down! They had sauces on the side for you to either put on your corn dogs or if you want to put it in a container, they had: ketchup, mustard, sriracha mayo, mango habanero, and sweet chili. So excited to have Mochinut in Concord located in the strip mall across from Park N Shop near FedEx and Brother's Chicken. We came to the soft opening on the 3rd day and it was pretty bustling. I knew there would be a wait for the corn dogs. There is a self service ordering kiosk but a line to use it. Pretty simple to order and we get a text when our order is ready. I ordered 2 potato dogs with sausage/cheese, 1 potato dog, 2 regular dogs with cheese/sausage, and a 3 pack of mochi donuts, ube, churro caramel & cookies n cream. Once my order was in my daughter & I hopped in the car and got drinks at Sharetea. That's our fav so we couldn't NOT get it. Worked out perfect because we got a text our order was ready as we pulled up! Packaging was super cute, staff was friendly, and we got a free churro donut with our order for soft opening, sweet! The corndogs are pretty good, still crispy when I got home. Potatoes were pretty thick and filling, I would get this again without potatoes, my son enjoyed his corndog without. The donuts had food texture but I think the flavors need to come through more, too faint I couldn't tell what flavor I was eating. Overall a good start, can only get better. We came here for the mochi donuts! Literally always in this plaza because we go to FedEx every other day. Right next to FedEx, the WIC store & across away from park n shop & grocery outlet. The donuts are so light & fresh. Tried every flavor, loved them all! However $3 for each is a little pricey. But the more you buy the cheaper it is. The drinks came in cool containers but the drinks are okay. Not to die for boba. More compared to quicklys. Up next the corndogs were ohhh sooo good. Better eaten fresh hot & ready. I love this place. Went there on impulse a few months ago to buy a treat for my coworkers, and now they're obsessed. The doughnuts are chewy and delicious (Nutella is my favorite) and the hot dogs, cheese sticks, or hot dog cheese sticks? Magical. Now my family is hooked too. Staff are very pleasant and everything is so neatly arranged for pickup, it's always a great experience. Just left Mochinut in Concord. The wait was minimal. The service was personable and they have kiosks for payment and selection. They have a wide variety of daily donuts. We purchased a three pack for $9.00, two boba drinks that were $5.00 + each and two potato mozzarella corndog and one rice half and half dog with mozzarella ranging from $5.00-6.00+ each. The mango and cookies and cream were sweet but tasty. The ube churro was just the right sweetness. The matcha and ube boba were a but gritty but nice and cold on a 93 degree day. The potato corn dogs were good a little doughy but good. I enjoyed the rice half and half with mozzarella and hotdog. I opted for the shiracha mayo and mango habanero both were so good!
