I left as a Happy Lemon. Lol I got the Mango Matcha with Lychee, it was soooo good. Burst of flavors, sweet, floral and fruity. 10/10 recommend. Only deducted one star because they lost my drink & had to make it again so it was a bit of a wait for me. But nonetheless they were nice and the drink was worth the wait !

Nice little spot -- our first time here and we'll definitely be back. The kids wanted a relaxed place to work on a school project after class, and this hit the mark: comfy atmosphere, friendly staff, and plenty of seating. The menu has tons of choices; we ordered four different drinks and every one was tasty and well-made. Don't miss the waffle with puff cream -- a must-try dessert. Great for studying, hanging out, or grabbing a sweet treat.

When we tried this place there were two people working behind the counter but they were quick and efficient, while still offering great customer service. It wasn't crowded and there were plenty of empty places to sit inside. The smell was also amazing!!! The scent was sweet like that of a bakery. We got 2 milk teas and then I went back to the counter to order a waffle, too. I had the oreo milk tea, plain, and our daughter got the Okinawa fresh milk boba tea. They don't kid or play around. I definitely got the cookies and cream drink that I wanted. The flavor was EXCELLENT!! No aftertaste at all. Our daughter seems to really be enjoying hers, as well. We all shared a chocolate bubble waffle, but I didn't actually get the dip to go along with it. It was nice. Not too strong, that's for sure. I LOVE it. I'm sure we'll be back again, plus it's pretty close to us anyway. I just don't think I knew anything about it before. I found it here on Yelp.

One of my go-to's whenever I'm craving boba! The place is small with only a few tables, but I'm usually getting the drinks to-go anyway. The only thing I wish they had were savory snacks, but it saves me the temptation. 75% sweetness is perfect and I also get less ice. This place is located in a little plaza, but it wasn't hard finding parking.

The bubble waffles was SO good- you must try it with the salted cheese. It tastes like cream cheese frosting. The waffle was made fresh, had a perfect sweetness and was crispy on the outside and chewy in the middle. The boba was great! Definitely recommend.

My favorite drink! The salted tea is not too salty and just the right amount of sweet. I get the jasmine green tea unsweetened and mix in the salted cheese. So good!

Very cute, clean and quick. Stopped real quick to pick up drinks while I was in this city. Servers and service was nice and efficient. I got the passionfruit Mango green tea with added Mango chunks and boba. It was both tart and sweet, which I loved. Will definitely be back!

first time trying happy lemon here. order through app, go to the store, take them, and leave. try to enjoy it at home. i used to order the mango boba green tea but i think the taste is a bit different from here, cannot really taste the mango and the mango pulp is also not much. for kumquat lemon green tea with lychee jelly is quite refreshing ~ recommended drink i think...

Ordered: Okinawa Milk Tea Boba with Aloe (non-caffeinated) It's clean and spacious. The main reason I went here is because their menu clearly showed that drinks can be adjusted by ice level and sweetness. There were photos of two other boba spots on Yelp. They didn't show whether ice level and sweetness can be adjusted so I avoided those spots. Happy Lemon also noted which drinks were non-caffeinated. I ordered the Okinawa Milk Tea. It tastes good. I was somewhat upset at the person who took my order because they didn't ask me if I wanted to adjust my sugar and ice level. I'm annoyed at myself for forgetting. I remembered right before she sealed it. She scraped a little syrup and some ice after I told her I want 50% sugar and 75% ice. It's cool she tried. I tried the drink in my car; it was too sweet for me. I should have gone back and asked for a refund or remake my drink. Will I come back here? Maybe if I happen to be around the area. I recommend that employees ask customers about adjusting their sugar and ice. I have health issues. Limiting my sugar helps. When I got home, I diluted the milk tea. 3/5

The was the new mango drink

The service was and my drink was great the new mango sago drink was the best. I will be coming back soon

Just last year I was new to Boba and now I have a favorite spot lol. Life comes at you fast. This was my first time at this location but I'm happy to report it's just as good as the Concord one. Delicious!

Their salted cheese topping is super good, so get that. It's similar to cheesecake mousse, it's very light, sweet, creamy, and at the same time salty to balance the sweetness. It's so good when mixed in with your drink - whether it's regular tea or milk tea, but I do like their milk tea better with their salted cheese topping. But their boba is cooked spot on too - soft yet chewy and it's perfectly sweetened. I like getting them both with my milk tea. The milk tea is super creamy and delicious as well. The service at this place was pretty quick and staff were friendly. The store looked pretty standard when we visited it last week; it wasn't too big but it provided enough seats for dine in customers. The store was clean.

Let me start by saying I absolutely adore this place. I found this place on yelp and sent my…read moreboyfriend to pick up smoothies one morning on a whim. The first time got us hooked. The morning ritual is the best smoothie I've ever had. It's hard to balance health and flavor, but this was both healthy and incredible. They list the ingredients used in each smoothie, so you know all of what they contain. You can even add different boosters such as mass muscle, etc. It's located inside of a gym, to the right side of it. Don't be thrown off, you don't need a membership to enjoy the fantastic smoothies. The workers have been really sweet each time we've visited, and when we ordered via Uber it was ready upon arrival. One of the only drawbacks is how expensive it is. I also really wish that they listed their nutrition facts online. For such a health oriented company it's shocking that they don't, and especially a company of decent size. The smoothies contain dates, nuts, etc. So although they are good ingredients they can be high in fats, so it's important to know. Our smoothie also has coffee as well which we enjoy, but knowing the caffeine content would be appreciated. My last order also had huge white frozen balls that were unblended in it which was odd, I'm not quite sure what they were. If the price was lower, we would come here much more often. It is a great way to start your morning, and makes you feel fantastic afterwards.

My husband arrived around 8:10 AM, after the store's posted opening time of 8:00 AM, only to find the business completely closed with no communication whatsoever. No call. No email. No cancellation notice. Nothing. What followed was somehow worse. I called the store multiple times throughout the day and left several voicemails that were never returned. I also emailed both the location and corporate customer service and received no response. Corporate didn't answer their phones either. All of this over a $35 order that the business happily charged for but never fulfilled. Today, I went into the store in person to ask for a refund and was met with attitude and defensiveness from the manager instead of accountability or even a simple apology. I was told they "do answer their phones" despite my multiple unanswered calls and voicemails. I was then told they could not issue a refund because it had been "more than two days," even though the delay was entirely caused by their complete lack of response and failure to handle the issue. The store being unexpectedly closed is frustrating enough. Ignoring customers afterward and then treating them poorly when they ask for their money back is unacceptable. I'm still waiting to hear from the "other manager" or "boss" who is supposedly able to process my refund. Who apparently already had my information but was "too busy" to respond to me sooner. Give me a break. At this point, it's not even about the $35. It's about the complete lack of professionalism, communication, and basic customer service.

This was my first time visiting them again since the ownership change so it's been a minute. What I see here now is just depressing, not just because the place was empty, but it's now devoid of anything that felt like a spot someone would want to hangout at. No music, when I got in there was one person waiting for their food and nobody was even at the front counter for minutes before somebody finally came out from the back. Ordering is just through the kiosk now, which isn't a bad thing. The part that was really rough was the reason why I even came here; the boba. I got a regular milk tea which now they only have a single size. I miss the extra large size they used to have, but oh well. The next issue comes with how much the boba actually costs. They may have gotten rid of the extra large cup sizes, but they're still charging the almost the same amount for it in a much smaller cup. What a deal, right? And we get to the actual drink. When the person making the drink after receiving your order finishes within a minute of making it, it's never a good sign. Why is that? Well, they had premade jug of milk tea ready to pour out for your tasting pleasure. When you have a premade jug of milk tea, it's never a good sign. While I've had them at other places that have done this before, and it's ranged from bad to mediocre, the one here at Milk Tea Lab, now, was in a word, rancid. It was incredibly gross with absolutely no redeeming qualities to it. I generally try not to be so harsh, but this was really not it and I couldn't even finish the boba because of how bad the milk tea was. It's sad to see how big of a dropoff this spot has become compared to what it used to be. This isn't like when they first opened where there were only 2-3 boba spots right next to them. Now there's at least a handful of options within a few minutes away, and dozens of spots within a mile or two, and this is what they're pushing out? It's a shame but this Milk Tea Lab which was their starter store is no longer a place I would ever go back to for boba. It's time is now past with this new ownership.

I remember when the tipping culture was much more unexpected and unnecessary especially when your were not dining in. If you order and picked up your own food then tipping was not expected. Tipping was rewarded for great dine-in service and great hospitality. While my husband and I follow the current trend of the tipping culture, we don't appreciate those who make us regret patroning here. As for the crepe, it was well presented in its box however, the fruits inside the crepe were old and not freshly cut or refrigerated properly. The strawberries tasted old like it was on the tip of fermenting into vinegar. The bananas were brown and very mushy. Too mushy even to make banana bread.
