Got their coupon in the mail and so thought we would give their express hibachi a try for dinner. Our girls liked the donut more than their food. We ordered a chicken fried rice, hibachi vegetables gyoza, and beef noodles. The noodles were so salty the second day that I couldn't even finish the leftovers. The fried rice was good and I liked that the rice was thoroughly cooked but didn't have much veggies. The noodles was the same only had a few threads of cabbage and no other veggies so it looked very bland. We thought the price was a little high for the amount of food we got for the portion. Service was friendly. They don't have a lot of dining space and with only one large table if you have more than 2 people. It's mostly a take out place.

We got the hot cheeto half and half (half rice cake half hot dog) and the crispy ramen. They had lots of sauce selections we paired the hot cheeto with ranch and the crispy ramen with sweet chili. Perfect quick snack and a super cute place as well!

Fun place and food was delicious! Small space but does have a few spots to sit. Service was really good and fast. Went with my son and neither of us have had rice dogs before. DELICIOUS! The half and half was the way to go. Half cheese and half hotdog. I only braved the original for my first time. My son had the potato. He wants to try the spicy Cheeto one next. The habanero sauce was the perfect touch. Great fruity boba drinks and the donuts were pretty tasty. The texture is very unique and chewy. Will for sure be back. It's quick, prices aren't bad and it's something different.

Donuts are absolutely delicious! I got a surprise bag and there were 9 or 10 Different varieties. The fruity pebbles were AMAZING!

Adorable donut shop so conveniently located in a strip mall near Southdale. Service was so friendly and efficient. I only tried the donuts today, but would love to come back and try a boba drink or some matcha soft serve next time.

    Chicken Hibachi Chicken

I went on a Thursday afternoon with a coupon for a free boba tea. I got chicken hibachi with a milk tea. Bf got shrimp hibachi and Thai tea. We both liked our food and drinks. Ordering was a little confusing as there was a worker at the counter, but she told us to order on the computer screen. I'd go there again.

Cute spot with yummy snacks. Strawberry mochi donut was our favorite. The service was also great!

Loved it! Highly recommend! Always enjoy the chewy texture of a mochi donut and a boba tea. Enjoyed the can top.

I LOVE Moona Moono! What a cute and very cool coffee and gift shop to visit , study, or just to…read morerelax! It's bright, airy, with lots and lots of natural lighting. Such a peaceful vibe. The diverse coffee and tea menu offer both the classics to the fancy brews. The pastries to pair with the drinks, are so delectable since they the delightful pastries are from the renown Patisserie 46! Today, I got the Black Sesame Latte with Oat Foam, served hot since it was quite a chilly day and an Almond croissant, which was sooo good, the perfect balance of a flaky exterior with a rich, nutty interior. Heavenly! I also got the opportunity to meet Angie Lee, the founder of Moona Moono! I told her how much I LOVED her shop and how much Minneapolis needed a shop like this. Angie appreciated my feedback and she told me the backstory to the name of the store! The name "Moona Moono" is a rough translation of two Korean words meaning "culture octopus," representing the various "tentacles" or facets of the Asian American experience. How COOL is that? Thank you again, Angie, for bringing this lovely shop to Minneapolis, and I hope it stays a hit for the years to come! LOVE!

**Pros:** * The coffee itself is legitimate: strong, hot,…read moreand fresh. * Reliable Wi-Fi. * The price point for a standard drip coffee is excellent (under $4). **Cons:** * The interior design feels sterile, leaning into a "clinical" aesthetic that lacks warmth. **Review:** I stopped in for a simple "coffee of the day" during a time when the shop was only moderately busy. The staff was initially friendly, emphasizing that I should let them know if I needed anything and that refills were complimentary. However, when I went to pour my coffee, the carafe was empty. What followed was a frustrating 10-minute wait for a simple cup of drip coffee. Despite there being no line, the staff behind the counter were preoccupied with conversation rather than maintaining the station--the most basic expectation for a coffee shop. Furthermore, the process was handled inefficiently. Rather than prioritizing the waiting customer by pouring a cup from the new brew as soon as it was ready, I was left waiting for the entire vessel to finish filling. In a fast-paced environment, drip coffee should be an immediate transaction. Simple service recovery--such as offering an Americano while the pot brewed or acknowledging the wait--would have gone a long way, but unfortunately, there was a lack of situational awareness. The environment also felt dismissive. As I reached my 7th minute waiting for this cup, I remarked that the process was taking longer than a pour-over. A bystander felt compelled to interject, stating, "They're doing their best." I responded, "No, they're not," with the employees standing right there, still failing to perform the basic requirements of their job. If a shop runs out of its primary product and makes a customer wait nearly 10 minutes for a fresh brew, they are not doing their best. That is a failure of service, not a reflection of the customer's patience. tl;dr: Great coffee, but the service experience needs a serious recalibration.

Don't expect the ordinary…read more In fact, if you're wanting something more basic when it comes to boba Jinx isn't the spot for you. However if your soul is craving for something different, something unique, or if you're just open to "different" then I'd definitely give this place a try. The drinks aren't something that I've come across before. Some of their blends seem extremely contradictory, I.e Balsamic and rosewater but it works. Think of it as chocolate coated bacon. Contrast in the best of ways. I had the hot matcha chocolate drink. Its creamy and nice however a touch of bitter. My aunt and sister had the strawberry dream and I agree that the bubbles are good. They aren't too sweet, not too soft, but not undercooked by any means. I also want to mention that the drinks aren't creamy (aside from the chocolatey ones) and that they aren't filled with grams upon grams of sugar. Jinx's boba is lighter but the flavors are still there. I suspect that when people call the drinks watery, that they were expecting a conventional boba tea. I put up some photos of the shop and it's simple, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. The environment it chilled out and a place I would bring my laptop to. The staff's pretty nice and open to telling you about themselves and what they stand for. Which is sustainability without shoving it down your throat for example biodegradable cups and lids (and im totally for it). They also pride themselves on having a different approach to steeping the tea, which is cold brewed (it's essentially where tea is steeped in cold water for an extended period of time). This allows the tea to give off a different set of flavors and notes that hot tea doesn't have. Overall it's a good spot. Its affordable, clean, and I would go back. If you have an adventurous spirit, an open mind, or just curious then I'd definitely give it a try. Tip: Ask Questions! The staff will help you find a drink that YOU like instead of just picking at random and hoping for the best!

I got the raspberry blood orange boba tea. It was incredibly refreshing and a bit tart. Their boba tea is different in comparison to the classic sweet, creamy boba teas. There was fresh juice in the tea and it wasn't overly sugary which was great. I can't wait to try out their store front!

We got takeout on this occasion which was slick, albeit a bit tricky due to parking in the linden hills area by this restaurant. I got the turkey in the hills sandwich and the tomato soup. Both of these were hits and were a good amount of food too. My mom got the same sandwich with the chicken wild rice soup which wasn't as much of a hit as the tomato but was still decent and then my sister got a veg sandwich with the tomato soup. SPACE There are a few 4-tops on the patio in front, a handful of bar seats inside with a small, cozy indoor table footprint, and a handful of 2-3 tops on the back alley. SERVICE The bartender told us to go find a spot on the back alley, so we did - but not sure we did things right, as our server walked past us a few times without acknowledging us. Service was friendly but limited. DRINKS They had a nice cocktail menu, but I opted for an Aperol Spritz. My husband chose off their limited NA menu a lavender honey lemonade, and it was a bit too sweet for him. I'd love to see some mocktail options here! FOOD We just got a few shareables since we were heading to dinner after, but their sandwiches were making my husband's mouth water! We got: Pickle Brined Wings - amazing flavor, salty and dilly, but I would have liked quite a bit more char on them: they were pretty pale. Minnesota Sushi - my husband loved this! Served with Ritz crackers, and it's the perfect little shareable dip.
