Tried the new Mochinut & had a little of everything! Let's start with the Korean Corn Dogs - I had the ramen dog and the potato dog. I loved the ramen! It was super crunchy and had a really nice seasoning on it. I think this one will be my go-to from now on. The potato dog was also good and I would get it again as well. They were made fresh to order. The mochi donuts are so light and airy. And cute too. The best of the three we tried was the Boston Cream. I thought the churro was a little dry but this one was very bouncy and had a nice flavor. Not too sweet. Also had the milk tea with boba. It was enjoyable and also seemed less sweet than some other bubble teas I have tried. There isn't a ton of seating inside but it's decorated really cute and the staff was super nice. My family and I got the 6 pack of donuts. We picked New York Cheesecake (delicious), tiramisu (messy but flavorful), fruity pebbles (sweet but worth it), Twix (dense), and peach (my mom inhaled it so I didn't get to try). I've been eager to visit since they opened in the newly developed area of Greenwood. I popped in during lunch time on a week day and the place was empty. No cars outside, no people inside. There was one worker who patiently explained the donut flavors. I opted for a 3-pack and a drink. I thought it was a nice bonus that each drink comes with 1 free topping; a lot of other boba places charge you. I got a blueberry, fruity pebbles, and original frosted donut. I was a little disappointed, because they weren't as soft and chewy as I expected based on prior mochi donut experiences. Honestly, it might be because they don't get a lot of customers - there isn't much turnover to the donuts. Maybe they had been sitting out for a long time, or leftover from the day before? They were still OK, but I won't be craving them or have a reason to return. The drink was hella sweet; a mango peach juice with rainbow jelly. My fault - I should have asked for half sweet. Meh. It was fine. I had never tried this type of donut before and they were okay. I got a raspberry, hubby got a chocolate crispy, and son got sprinkles. The donuts themselves have a funnel cake taste to them along whatever flavor/filling you get. If that sounds like your jam, go for it. Service was pleasant and quick. We arrived with our "free item" coupon, expecting to just try a corn dog and leave. It was clever marketing because we ended up ordering round 2! We started with the potato coated corn dogs - 1 each of white potato and sweet potato. They both had a dusting of sugar. Not too overpowering, just a little sweet, and served with their house sauce. They were fresh from the fryer and very tasty. We ended up going back to the counter for more corn dogs, and ended up making one of them a combo with drink (cherry berry) and tater tots. The woman at the counter was so kind, patient, and helpful. Our food was served in just a few minutes - they make the corn dogs after you order. The drink was very sweet and reminded me of melted popsicles in the summer time. Tots were hot and crispy. Overall a nice lunch! read more

Overall, it was a tasty treat that reminded me more of a fair experience than a regular meal, making it appealing for those seeking something unique. The mozzarella-filled corn dog, coated in cornflakes, was delicious. However, I was surprised to find that the mozzarella only filled the top half of the corn dog; I expected it to be layered throughout. Regardless, the mozzarella was tasty and smooth. I also ordered Yum Yum sauce but only used a little since the corn dog itself didn't need much enhancement. The order did take a bit longer, possibly due to heating the oil, but the gentleman at the register was helpful in explaining how to place my order. I kept driving by and seeing the opening soon sign on Mochinut. I had never heard of nor had Mochinut but a quick Google search told me I wanted to try them! Finally, the day came when the open sign was up. I have been wanting to try the cream doughnut, so bad! It looks delicious on their website. To my disappointment, this location does not have cream doughnuts, or at least they didn't when I went. I tried several of the donuts. I got a tiramisu, a strawberry, a blueberry, and a couple others that I can't remember. The only ball donuts they had was a blueberry and this weird icing filled one. None of them were exceptional. As a matter of fact, they they weren't even good. I can't explain the texture, but it was a dense doughnut. But not like a brioche. It just tasted flat if that makes sense. Kind of like a Dunkin' Donut hole that's been sitting out for three hours but with a thicker outer crust. At $3+ dollars a pop I expected way better and it just wasn't there for me. The flavors are off and tasted artificial. The tiramisu tasted nothing like tiramisu. There was some coffee flavor and an artificial whip cream of some kind. The strawberry barely tasted like strawberry. The service was excellent and the inside is cute but the donuts are just not good. I will not go back at that price point for mediocre donuts. read more

Still not impressed. I went during grand opening week. I wanted to order two mochi donuts. The young lady at the counter said it's a better deal to order 3. I explained that I had a coupon for a free one, so I just wanted to order two single ones (one free, one paid). She seemed confused, but rang me up anyway. Then she rang me up for the purchase of two. I said, no one is free. Long story short, there was constant back and forth until the manager came over and supposedly corrected the order in the register. Then, she immediately gave me the one donut. I waited on the side for the other and she never gave it to me. So I finally asked her for it and she said I only ordered one. Another long story short, the manager was called over, and he said "well I'll do it this one time"....as if I was lying and trying to steal a donut! It really wasn't that complicated of an order, but they both made it SUPER complicated, and then tried to make me look like the bad guy! read more

This is the second time I have been here and the first time I had a great experience but this second time I did not have a great experience. I ordered a 6 Mochinut and two drinks, while I was ordering the second drink I was asking about their popping boba (mind you this I for my child) the girl working there rolled her eyes. Also when she was asked a question she answered very rudely. Payed for the items and was only waiting for the drinks, once she set them down she also threw down the straws.
