Terrible experience. When I arrived, they didn't have a lot to choose from which I can understand with getting there late morning, but the donut that I had was absolutely disgusting. It had no flavor, and it was supposed to be one of the crumb donuts, which he explained they take the crumbs from the other donuts and use it as topping on this cake donut. I can confidently say I will not try this place again

I love you, pana donuts! You make me feel better when I have ovarian cyst flare ups, migraines, and appendicitis. I've been to this place dozens of times so I can speak upon which donuts are superior. 1. Blueberry cake 2. The rest are equally 10/10 The coffee is up to you! You want too much sugar? You want it nasty black? Put in whatever flavors and creams you want. The service? 10/10. It's always fast and high quality! There's none of that fake kiss-ass "mass Ave" accent. You can order without "do you want to pay extra- do you want to buy- do u want to donate-". Just genuinely fast, kind, excellent service. I'd post a pic of my donut like I did with my drink but I can't because I ate it. :( oh well I'll be back :)

Indianapolis based Pana celebrates five years of serving donuts around town. This was my first visit to the 86th street location and I was pleased to see the variety of donuts, breakfast sandwiches, coffees and teas that they offer on the menu. The cases were full of colorful donuts. There were also several savory options including a ham and cheese pastry. I had a glazed yeast donut and coffee. The donut was light with a perfect glaze. The coffee was hot and strong. They offer a special of 2 donuts and coffee for only $4.49. The clerks were friendly and patient. Check out was quick. There are a couple tables to eat in. Most people seem to pick up to go. The parking lot requires maneuvering to get in and out.

Boba originated in tea shops in Taiwan, where people would congregate after work and into the evenings to drink and socialize. When I lived in LA in the late 2000s, the culture wasn't much different; I remember going to my favorite shops in the evenings and hanging out with my friends well into the night. After being exported to the rest of the US, I've always wondered why the concept hasn't changed to match more of a western coffee shop - a place where people go in the morning to get their caffeine fix. PANA breaks the mold and is the first place I've ever seen that serves boba like a coffee shop bright and early starting at 5AM. Of course, PANA is mainly known for their donuts, so of course we had to grab some too! Kronut ($1.49) - At first glance, this looks like a croissant that's covered with donut glaze, but when I bit into it, I found it be be much lighter than the typical croissant. It's very pillowy causing it to deflate and squish very easily in the hands. It's still laminated like a croissant, but I think they might use yeasted donut dough to make the layers. The kronut is covered with a thin layer of glaze that isn't overly sweet. (4/5) Glazed Donut ($1.49) - I thought the kronut was pillowy, but it pales in comparison to this glazed donut. It's so soft almost like a cotton candy that melts in your mouth. Again, it's lightly glazed with a covering that lightly breaks into various shapes as you eat. (4/5) Milk Tea, Large w/ Boba ($4.99) - Pana does not allow you to adjust drink sweetness, but I found this drink to be similar to 50% sweet at a typical boba shop. The tea has a very interesting herbal taste. The taste is kind of like the smell as you walk into a traditional Chinese medicine shop, kind of a mix of goji, ginseng, Chinese licorice etc. Very interesting and unexpected. The drink is a little unbalanced. By the time all the milk tea (made with non dairy creamer) was gone, there was still about half of the boba left in the cup. The boba here is hard and does not have the required chew. It's quite disappointing. (2/5) Bathrooms: Two individual rooms, one for men, one for women. The men's room has railings next to the toilet and the room appeared to be spacious. I don't think the boba at PANA was very good, but the donuts are quite nice. I would go again only for those.

Storefront was very clean. Employees are very nice and attentive. The donuts were very fresh and a wide selection.

First time here and most certainly won't be my last. I went later in the day when the donuts were not as fresh but was still satisfied. I ordered lemon and raspberry jelly donuts. Since my favorite is lemon I started with it. The pastry was pillowy and powdery with just the right chewy consistency. The lemon filling was the perfect tartness to compliment the sugary dough. The raspberry filled donut exceeded my expectations. The raspberry filling was amazing. I consumed the lemon donut before I could take a picture. Really good donuts.

Great donuts! My mom brought these to us when visiting IL, and they were delicious and held up well in the car. She mentioned that the staff was friendly and helpful too :) The cinnamon and sugar twist and old-fashioned were yummy! Looking forward to trying more the next time I'm in the area.

This place is exactly what I expect from a donut shop. It opens at FIVE AM! Not seven am like other places. AND it has the right kind of donuts I like to eat. I've had trouble finding powdered donuts in Carmel. This place came through for me. And just for the record, I don't consider those round things with holes in the center sold in grocery stores as donuts. They are shipped in, not freshly baked that same day. I bought a wide assortment in a dozen and a half. Every kind of donut I bought tasted delicious. You could tell the dozen were light and fluffy by the weight of the box. Very lightweight! I went in expecting to buy a dozen but ended up with a dozen and a half because I was like a kid in a candy store. Sometimes donuts even look like big pieces of candy. Especially when my granddaughter wants the strawberry icing frosted glazed kind.

This place always delivers! My dad gets this every time I come to Carmel, and I've never had anything bad here. From the freshest/most delicious donuts to their ham and cheese croissants, I keep coming back here. My dad always says how great their customer service is as well and always treats him well. I constantly crave these donuts!

I had never had Pana Doughnuts before the Speedway store opened, but my sister-in-law raved about them as they were building the new locations in Avon and Speedway. She even went so far as to say they were better than Long's doughnuts. Now that we have a doughnut shop a mile or so from my house, I had to give them a try. Pana Doughnuts did not disappoint! I'm so happy they are in Speedway. They are amazing doughnuts, extremely light, fresh, and flavorful with a terrific selection. We love yeast doughnuts, lemon and blueberry filled yeast doughnuts, chocolate iced doughnuts, bear claws, and several of the cake doughnuts. We typically buy a dozen ($15) at a time since we love everything we've had. I haven't tried the breakfast sandwiches yet, but they sound perfect for breakfast. Service has never been an issue. The employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The store is emaculent and has a few indoor tables. You're in and out of the store very quickly. Their are several locations around Indy, so stop in and try your favorite doughnuts. I'm sold!!!

Whoever you are... thank you. You changed my life. The sweet woman behind the counter heard where I was from and handed me a complimentary glazed yeast donut. Let me tell you... WHEW! It wasn't even fresh out of the oven, and it still melted in my mouth. Light, soft, perfectly glazed... I knew right then I was in trouble. I ended up buying a box with blueberry cake, applesauce cake, cinnamon sugar, Bavarian cream, glazed yeast, and a few others. Everything was incredibly fresh, and at those prices, I had to double-check the menu because I thought I was reading it wrong! When I got back to my parents' house in Louisville, we warmed a few up for just a few seconds. Game over. They somehow tasted even better. My plan was to take some to church tomorrow to share... but judging by how fast they're disappearing, I may be testifying about them instead. Before I left, the woman smiled and said, "Make sure you come back when you're in town." Oh, I'll be back. I may even create reasons to drive through Indianapolis now. Long's Bakery doesn't need fancy displays or trendy flavors. They simply make outstanding donuts with friendly service and prices that make you wonder if they accidentally forgot inflation. 10/10. Worth every mile of the detour.

The storefront has a few tables to sit at and a large display case of all the donuts. Counter service to order is always pretty quick and easy. I like their rewards program in their app, which occasionally has freebies to entice you to come in. Not that I need it, but it sure helps. This most recent visit I got the local feature, which changes by the store and is supposed to be different for each store. This one had Oreo Cheesecake, which combines two of my favorite desserts. So of course I had to get it. I think I got the last one in the display case! They always have more donuts in the back though, as they make more throughout the day. A standard donut here is $3.95 at the time of posting, and dietary accommodating donut (vegan/gluten free, and keto donuts) are $4.25, so the prices are kept pretty fair in my opinion. They also have mini donuts which are a modest price (that I already forgot). There's also doggy donuts for $2.95! Coffee here always hits. I like to get the Mayan Mocha syrup in my latte, which is chocolate and cinnamon and too good not to get.
