It was alright. The donut was kind of dry even if the flavor was good. I did enjoy the hot dog more, but the ramen noodles on the outside didn't really add anything other than crunch. $10 for two snacks is a little steep as far as prices go. The inside of the shop is bright and colorful and the staff is extremely friendly and efficient. It's a cool place to visit, but I doubt we will be coming back. read more

The Korean corn dog was so good! The outside was perfectly crunchy, and the inside was loaded with gooey cheese and a juicy sausage. I loved the sweet sugar coating and the different toppings. My first time at the Mochinut. The service was definitely good. They close at 8 and we ran in the restaurant at 745 and they were still nice to us. Located right in OKCs Asian district Mochinut was 100% worth the drive from Norman. Parking was super easy and walking the inside was super colorful and extremely clean. You walk up and see all the donuts that are being offered for the day, and you could pick between single donuts, a pack of 3, 6, or 12. There were so many flavor options so it's hard to choose just six cause they all looked amazing. Staff was super friendly and the donuts came out quickly. Each donut was super fresh and flavorful and you can really tell that these were done right. My personal favorite was the blueberry but all of them were amazing. As a whole this place is a 10/10 and will definitely be back! read more

An interesting twist on the donut and the mochi. Sweet and shaped like a donut, yet chewy like mochi how interesting. Inside the store is clean and open it feels almost too spacious during slow times. Service is counter style. They ask questions and let you know there are more in the back. This is not my first mochinut experience, but it is my first from a place that specializes in them, and they are good. Not too much more costly than a specialty donut and definitely more instgramable. We had 3 mochinuts and a ball thing. Mochinuts, we picked taro, mango, and pistachio. All 3 good textures but flavors were not distinctive on the Taro vs. pistachio. Mango had a clear tang to it and, by far, was the best frosting. But Taro and Pistachio did not stand out they were just sweet, that's it, no real distinctive flavor, which was a disappointment. I removed a star because what's the point in different flavor if they basically taste the same? The mochi ball thing was custard filled and good. I had the creme Brule flavor and the crunch from the hard sugar made for a nice texture. But I wouldn't get it again because the rest was a little bit too soft and oily for me. Overall, it's a cute novelty food that is a great replacement for regular donuts. read more

The food and drinks here were okay, maybe even mediocre at best. The mochi-nut donuts were very dry and slightly chewy. Not sure why. On that note, some of the flavors like tiramisu or the crème brûlée mochinut honestly did not taste like the flavor it was supposed to be. It was just mild sugar doughs. Another thing that was disappointing is the ube milk tea. It was not ube, it was just sweet potato. And everyone who loves actual ube knows the difference. The saving grace of three stars were the Korean Cheetos corn dogs. Those were worth it for sure. I live in Houston now and was super happy to hear they have a Mochinut here in Oklahoma City when I visited. I tried it in California and really loved it. I took my nieces here and they loved the variety as well as the decorations in the store. I got 6 mochi donuts for $17. Not bad for a special treat. Always one of the first places I think about for mochi donuts. Its a pleasant place to stop by for a drink and snack. Today I got the Thai tea in a the bear cup! It was in fact as delicious as it was cute. They offer a variety of flavors for Mochi donuts. My favorites are always the fruity pebble and matcha flavors. Mochinut - 3.5 stars. If this were based solely on the "hot dog," it would easily be four stars, but the mochi donut and brown sugar tea left something to be desired. I decided to go with the Crunch Cereal Original corn dog. The Rice Krispie-style breading wasn't overly sweet and had a very nice crunch to it. The wiener was tasty and even had a little snap to it. It was good on its own, but I loved the two sauces I tried. The hot honey has just a touch of heat, but my favorite was the special sauce. The flavor reminded me of gochujang and had a medium heat that snuck up on you. The churro mochi donut and brown sugar milk tea were OK. I prefer others I've had. I was excited to try this place since I was craving K-dogs, but they don't have them at the moment. But I did see some customers had some, so not sure what happened, and it was a letdown. So, I just got their mochi donuts and a boba tea. The staff warned us about the wait, which we waited in a small space with customers. The boba teas are canned, so I think the canning process is delaying the orders since it looks like they only have 1 machine. Their regular milk tea is solid. For the boba teas, you can't adjust the sweetness level. Luckily it wasn't sweet; it was creamy, and quite fragrant. Bobas had good consistency. Mochi donuts were quite good: crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Hopefully, they will have the K-dogs and soft-serve in the future. So, until then, I prefer Momocha. read more

I'm glad we have another Korean corn dog restaurant here! The dogs were very tasty, but a little small. The donuts were good, but did not taste fresh at all. The only drinks they had were teas and water, but that's okay. I'm a water guy. I suggest getting the half mozzarella half dog with the potato on the outside. Holy moly! I've had this place on my radar but, I rarely am in the area when the sweet tooth comes calling. I came in maybe 15 mins after open, there were 2 groups sitting/waiting for their orders. They had fresh donuts ready to go, so I didn't have to wait once I ordered. I was greeted promptly and the cashier gave his recommendations. He said the strawberry cheesecake is his fave so, I chose that one as I also love that combo. It was delicious! Slightly crispy on the first bite, then that yummy doughy texture comes out to play. The flavors all show up really nice and it surely reminded me of a strawberry cheesecake! The treat cost 3.25 after tax and they were kind enough to let me bring my personal coffee cup in with me. Rating this place based off their Mochi Donuts, creativity with their boba, and having Korean corn dogs as part of the menu. Their donuts are excellent, Mochi was perfect consistency and they have a huge variety of donuts. Their boba was placed in these cool plastic cans. I had their original milk tea which was good but their pearls weren't on par with say Gong Cha or Sharetea. Love this place! Not being a huge sweets gal but seeing as they have mochi donuts and I can get Boba and a spicy/salty snack - it's the perfect balance. My go-tos are the Ube Boba and the Potato Original. I like to mix it up with the mochi donut flavors, but in general they're all good! I like how light and soft they are, and that they're not as unhealthy as normal donuts (did some digging online). I love the special sauce they have for the hotdogs, it's got a kick but still a slight hint of sweet. Always tasty, always puts me in a better mood. I love all the neon signs and lip couches. Sadly, their power was out when I went, but they had a full stock of mochi donuts and were able to take cash so YAY. Kudos to them for being adaptable and accommodating under trying circumstances. I ordered 4 donuts: pistachio, funnel cake, caramel, and creme brulee. I didn't check them before I left, so I arrived at my friend's house with only 3 of them - my choice, the creme brulee, was missing. My friends allowed me a taste of theirs, so I got 3 lovely bites. My favorite was the funnel cake - it didn't actually taste like funnel cake, but it did taste somewhat fairfood-ish and that's delicious enough! The mochi donuts are NOT regular yeast or cake donuts. The texture and flavor are different. Good, but different. They have a slightly crisp "crust", a soft and chewy inside, and a lovely flavor. As for the missing mochi donut? Eh, with the trying circumstances and their willingness to adapt, they needed that money a wee bit more than I did, and I can go back some other day. And maybe I'll get the creme brulee then and try another flavor. With the construction going on there at 23rd and Classen, it's a bit challenging to get there going north on Classen, but if you're going south, it's easy to get there. Parking is nice. I did not look for or park near any handicapped parking so I can't tell if there was a ramp up to the walkway, but the entry into the shop was low enough for walkers, wheelchairs, or scooters. The set-up inside was roomy enough for mobility devices, too, and the case and counter were low enough for short people and those sitting in mobility devices. If you've never tried mochi donuts, they are tasty and the people working at Mochinut were delightful. read more

Came in on Saturday around 5 PM and the place is quite busy which is a surprise. There was a line but things tend to move quite rapidly. I glanced through their boba tea drinks and decided to not try any as the selection and options are quite limited compared to a place that sells boba tea only. Instead I tried the original rice corn dog. For $3.99 each, it's a very fair price. The donuts are a little more steep in pricing. However, it's available with many different flavors that one won't be able to find at other donut stores. It comes in 3, 6, or 12 box, around $3 each. A dozen costs $30 - that's very profitable. I've only tried 3, the Stella Nutella is the best followed by blueberry and then orange juice. The best feature of both the donuts and the corn dog is the dough itself. It's very chewy which makes it different from other products at other stores. It seems like the chocolate flavors are the best. read more

First time coming to this place that i been so excited to try. The people who were working yesterday where really nice and welcoming! The korean hot dogs were bomb i and so glad o dont have to drive all the way to penn square mall for one. I thought the hotdog with the potatos and cheese was very delishes and if you seasonnit with sugar something about it just makes it ecen better. I like how they provide ketchup or sugar or even sweet sauce to add on your korean hot dogs. Also really like that taste of the coffee boba just perfect!
