First time coming here, one word Outstanding! The staff was wonderful we let them know it was our first time usually you get that little eye roll because they have to explain the restaurant not here! Wanted some thin crust action so we rolled in and checked it out. Everyone was nice. Menu had some premade pizzas with some weird names but one was the same as my kiddos even though he would never eat mushrooms, it's fine it's fine. Tons of toppings, option for thicker or gluten free crust, and it was cooked perfect. We also got a thicc blueberry shake that was delicious. 10/10 will snack again. Copy my pizza. Thought we would try this since it's new - wasn't impressed. We paid $28 for two mini Caesar salads, (1) pizza and a tea. To me, that is high for a place that you have to stand in line for, similar to subway, get your own drink, bus your own table AND they don't even bring you your pizza. First time trying out Mod Pizza. My husband and I split two pizzas and a garlic bread. Very reasonable for $25, including drinks. Set up with cafeteria style line... you pick your toppings, then they hand it off to the employee working the oven. My pizza got sent back by this employee because he wanted more artichokes added to the pizza! Wow! Pizza was very good, service was quick, BlackBerry lemonade nice and tart. Love the new pizza place in Burleson. Industrial feel as you walk in and construct your pizza in an assembly line fashion. Couple things that will make MOD a success - easy ordering! You can pick a pizza from the menu, modify a pizza from the menu or create your own from scratch. All toppings are fresh and you watch your pizza being assembled right in front of your eyes. The second thing that will make MOD successful is their pricing. One size, any amount of toppings for one price - super easy! You can make mods like Mega dough which doubles your crust or you can make it gluten free, which slightly increases the cost but for the most it's one price per 11" pizza. A little about the pizzas... they are a thin crust type pizza cooked in an open fire oven. Super fast - about 5-7 minutes before your name is called and you are holding your creation in your hands. The restaurant is laid back with an industrial feel. Definitely a place you could meet up with friends for a pizza and a brew and be comfortable enough to sit and chat for a while. Customer service was great. Being my first visit they answered all my questions and seemed truly interested in making sure I had a great experience. This is exactly what Burleson needed and I see it being a long time favorite for Burleson. read more

Walked in at 7:43 tonight and they had all the chairs on tables and gave us dirty looks. They told us "they were about to close and the managers can dictate what time we close". They were no signs telling us they closed at 8 pm nor was the website updated with modified hours. They also made the wrong pizza for me and ended up remaking it because it was the Tristan and not Dominic like I ordered. They weren't unfriendly but just acted a bit annoyed they got a rush after us. read more

So MOD pizza claims to have super fast pizza...for most people, that might be true. I, however, didn't find that to be true on my first visit here. I love that MOD has tons of toppings to choose from and it's one price for as many toppings as you can pile on. Their process for ordering is a little unorganized though. I went through the line and got all the toppings to create my own pizza. I gave my name and they wrote it on the paper that went under the pizza crust so they could call my name once it was ready. Somewhere along the way, they wrote a number on the paper as well. Turns out, they sometimes assign the same number to multiple people. As a result, I got "Ginny's" pizza and she apparently got mine. The staff was very friendly and apologetic and told me they would remake my pizza. So...more than 30 minutes later, I finally got my pizza...but it wasn't made exactly as I had ordered it previously. The pizza was tasty anyway, so I didn't complain. I love the oven-fired crust, but make sure to order extra cheese if you like a cheesy pizza. They tend to skimp on that. The toppings were good, but the veggies were a little too crisp (raw) for me to call them perfect. I would've liked them a little more done. The sauce is good but pretty thin and very strong on the herbs. Basil maybe? Overall, good pizza and I will probably go back again just for the crust. It was the best part of the pie. Still searching for my perfect pizza. Guess I have to catch the red eye to NYC as central Texas just doesn't have the pie my tastebuds are screaming for. We are regulars here, or we used to be at least. We went tonight, at 615, and the line was to the door, there were 6 employees "making pizzas", the restaurant is disgusting and the workers looked like they don't know what showers are. No hair nets, one guy walked in and put his work shirt on while standing by the brick one. We stood in line, in the same spot, for 25 minutes and the line never moved before we decided to go somewhere else. It's seems from the recent reviews that this has become regular for this place. How disappointing, it could easily be one of the most successful restaurants in town. read more

New place in Burleson, TX, gotta try it ... so we did last Saturday (4/6/2019). A cross between Salata (walk through and build your own something), Pie Five, Luna, Char'd, and such. A wave of such build your own (a la Luby's, Picadilly with a new way - shall I throw it out there ... hipper -- vibe?). Not as many choices as several other places to put on your pizza or salad, but decent. What I like about Pie 5 is that they have those sauces and such to baste the edge of the pizzas, and the toppings ride all the way up to the edge. This place (MOD pizza) leaves or left a wide crust. It was good, maybe a 2.5 to 3 of 5 (therefore I'm rounding up rather than down per the husband's review to me of his entree)? Ordered a flask of wine, yuck. The line staff didn't really know much about the wine but I thought i'd give it a try. Don't. Water please (opposite of that miracle). Husband thought it was pretty okay. Not too sure that we'll be giving it another try. Maybe so though. It might've been their early launch and I need to give them time to get into their stride. read more

Loved this place! I had the Dillon James and had them add white sauce. Tasted amazing! The crust is just the right thickness where it's crunchy but not too thick where you feel overstuffed after you finish. Chocolate shake was great as well! We were so happy to be able to get an early try of the new pizza joint in town. We all have to eat gluten free so it was such a joy for my kids to pick out what they wanted on their pizza. They are willing to go halfsies so everyone can get exactly what they want. My oldest chose a four cheese pizza while the younger two played it safe with their old go to if pepperoni. They mentioned the pepperoni was spicy but it wasn't enough to keep them from eating it in any way. We will for sure be back. Might even stop by tomorrow. We had the Ruthie and the Meat Lovers and enjoyed both. They have beer on tap and in bottles, they also serve wine. Their salads and dressings are bother delicious and generously sized. The salad was incorrect (missing ingredients) And mine and my sons pizza that we were sharing had two slices of pizza that had no sauce or cheese. So we lost two slices of pieces.
