I arrive and am greeted by the owner. He is a dear man and owns the our place restaurant in town, which has tasty breakfasts and phenomenal pies. I delivered a hot fresh pizza to my customer. The pizza smelled so good, that after I finished my last delivery I swing back by and order my own pizza pie! Delicious. That darling man also gave me a free tiramisu! Ate at Gina's Pizza and had the meatball sliders--absolute heaven. Also ordered the Chicken Alfredo pizza and it did not disappoint, really good and full of flavor. My husband and I are trying to do better about learning are town and we went to Gina's because we pass by them all the time. We found out this pizza spot has been around since 1971. They have lots of seating inside and a few parking spots right up front. Vanessa greeted us and took our order. She was so helpful and educated on what makes them different from their competition. She shared it is a Chicago style pizza, they have homemade crust, and they use high quality ingredients. She als shared throughout the week they have Karaoke and live music. My husband got the meat lovers pizza, my kid got meatball sliders, and I got the white spinach pizza. My daughter loved her sliders, I really liked my pizza and I really enjoyed how much spinach was on my pizza and the crispness of the crust. My husband liked his pizza but he said it was not seasoned as much as he would have liked. I'm glad we got to support a local business and I could see us stopping back by. read more

First time here....EVER! And have lived in Burleson most of my life. (Never knew they had gluten free options.) We got a white spinach pizza and Gina's special, both GF, and it was impossible to pick a favorite. Both so full of flavor and Gina's stacked with toppings. Great pizzaria vibes at Gina's. Various seating options booth, tables, bar for whatever you feel like or your party needs. The service is friendly and helpful. Our waitress was great. You must order the breadsticks... they were warm, pillowy soft and delicious dipped in the marinara sauce. The salad was good too with mozzarella cheese, black olives & ranch dressing. There are several pizza and sandwich options to choose from based on your preference. We ordered a small pepperoni, individual combo, individual Alfredo with pineapple, and a chicken Parmesan sandwich. Pizzas have a crispy thin crust and my son loved it. I prefer a thicker and softer crust but the toppings and flavor were great. The tiramisu was moist and flavorful. It's a great place to go with your family or friends. Video games are around to play and TV's are viewable from any seat making it easy to watch the game. read more

Went here for the first time and ordered a 14" Gina's Special and bread sticks for an appetizer. The breadsticks tasted decent and were seasoned, but they resembled something that was frozen and reheated. The pizza came out and looked pretty good, but after my first bite, I could tell the crust was pre-made, probably not by this establishment. It was very crispy and tasted like it was previously frozen as well. The beers were cold and tasted good. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice but the pizza was just not very good to me. I will not be back unless I hear that they have started making their own pizza crust. read more

The service and food is excellent! The wait time is not to bad, cause all is made from scratch after you order. It is a very friendly palace and the staff is well trained and knowledgeable, you can go there for little fun and some nights music. read more

We have lived in Burleson for almost 25 years and have made the mistake of not trying Gina's sooner. This will be our pizza place from now on. We had planned to order delivery yesterday, July 5th, but saw that Toast showed no delivery available for the date and called the restaurant phone # to confirm. They had a very detailed message explaining they were closed for the holiday so that staff could spend time with family (yay for small businesses that do this!!) and we happily postponed our plans to place an order for the next day. It was worth the wait! We ordered a couple pizzas, two different salads, and two sets of wings. All of it was delicious! We've had pizza from many places in Burleson and this was definitely our favorite. read more

Pizza is so good!! We like to order light marinara sauce on our pizzas. Our fav so far has been bbq sauce with Hawaiian toppings. Wednesday karaoke nights aren't bad for a quick drink and entertainment. read more

I want to be fair but it will be hard for me. I've been eating at the old Gina's since 1978. I just tried the new Gina's. This review is just on the pizza as I have never had anything but pizza from Gina's. Bottom line if you're going expecting the "Old Gina's pizza recipe" you will be disappointed. The new style pizza is nothing like old Gina's pizza. Not even in the same category or style. This disappointed me greatly as Gina's was my favorite pizza. With that said the pizza was still good and to my liking. Super thin crust, no flop. Seems they use pre made crust bc it was too perfect on the crust formation. And btw there wasn't much outer crust edge, super tiny like 1/8th thick. I feel like it needed more cheese. I ordered a 14" large and finished it all in one sitting. If that was the old Gina's I might have got through 4-5 slices bc Old Gina's had a lot more cheese and thicker crust. Obviously the place has new owners, has expanded, added TVs and a bar. So it's lost its old time feel. I don't hold that against them though. Only the old schoolers like me will notice what's no longer. The service was nice, place is clean and it's just a different place all together. For me the pizza isn't as good or as special like it used to be. Gina's Pizza - The Best in Town! I doubted finding great pizza in Texas, but Gina's Pizza in Burleson completely won me over! The thin, crisp crust is perfect--just how it should be. I was born on the border of France and Italy, where pizza is a staple, and my mom made it from scratch, so I have high standards. Gina's delivers in every way! Beyond the amazing pizza, the experience is top-notch. The restaurant is conveniently located, making it an easy stop for grabbing takeout or dining. The service is quick, and the wait is never too long, even when they're busy. Plus, parking is easy, which is always a bonus! The staff is incredibly friendly--Laly helped us and was charming and helpful. And let me tell you about Otto, the owner. He's a great guy that you should get to know. Not only does he run Gina's, but he also owns Our Place, which has some of the best brunch options around. If you love good food, you'll want to check out both spots! The prices at Gina's are reasonable, and the quality is outstanding. I highly recommend the BBQ pizza--it's my absolute favorite! I was excited to try Gina's, as it has been in Burleson for twenty plus years and everyone saids it is good. Apparently it was when it had the original owners. The pizza is mediocre at best. The crust is really hard, not thin and crispy as described. It put me in the mind of a frozen pizza. Even though it has a good amount of toppings, it is very bland and tasteless. The pizza was so hard it seemed borderline burnt but the bottom wasn't scorched. The pepperonis on top were burnt, all the other toppings are under the cheese. The menu has errors on it. We ordered a Gina's special and it had a ton of sausage on it which is not listed on the ordering menu. When I asked the waiter he said the menu had a lot of errors. We also had cheese breadsticks which consisted of a breadstick similar to a pillsbury bread stick with mozzarella melted on top. They were not good and they were kind enough to remove them from our bill. Restaurant is clean and service was average. read more

This place has been around for 50 years and was recently purchased by Otto from Our Place and completely refurbished. He's done a great job at staying true to some of the history here with old pictures and furnishings as well as the old recipes. At the same time he has updated the menu with some better ingredients, paid attention to gluten free needs, and added some amazing new items to the menu. My wife had the Hawaiian (I try not to judge her) and I had the Italian beef sandwich. Everything was phenomenal and we plan on going back time and time again. read more

Mrs. S was making a hair appointment nearby when we noticed Gina's Pizzeria. We checked reviews and decided to give it a try. We like trying all the different pizza joints. First, it's important to note that pizza is a very personal thing. Everyone has different tastes, something demonstrated by the vast array of toppings that are normally available. So, these are simply our opinions - your tastes are probably different. We placed an online order for pickup. I ordered a double pepperoni medium and Mrs. S ordered the small Hawaiian. The restaurant was busy when I got there - always a good sign. The staff seemed very nice and greeted me with a smile. I didn't get the name of the young lady behind the counter. She went into the kitchen, brought out the two boxes, and opened them for me to inspect the contents. I was a little shocked, frankly. They do put the ingredients under the cheese, so both looked the same. And all they have is thin crust pizza, so the pizzas both looked a bit dwarfed in the box. My frank impression was that they looked like the kind of pizza one could get at the refreshment stand at a drive-in theater. Both were warm enough to eat when I got home. And Mrs. S and I had the same opinion of our different pies. They were okay. They didn't taste bad, but they didn't taste particularly good either. Mrs. S suggested that her's was missing something, but she couldn't say what. The crust was very thin. Too thin for my tastes. It was almost like eating a pizza prepared on Matzah or a cracker. There were adequate toppings but as I said, flavor was missing. My thought is it must be the lack of a real crust or perhaps the sauce, but I'm not certain. Bottom line? Most modern day frozen pizzas are far better and you don't end up paying over $30. Listen. If you like Gina's pizza, that's great! As I said, everyone has different tastes. Obviously, we won't be going back for pizza, but the menu had other items. We might try the Subs - they sounded pretty good! read more

we've picked up Gina's to go several times and are impressed each time! the pizzas are great! I've ordered the white spinach pizza and the veggie pizza! both were delicious and relatively cheap for fresh pizza! each time we've picked up our order the staff has been quick to take our payment. it looks like the restaurant has enough seating for groups of people to dine in but we have yet to do so! read more

The food was great the wings were juicy and they were so saucy and tender they had blue cheese on the side and it was so good. The service was good overall but our food did take a while to get there, staff is very friendly,and also since our food took so long they took 10 percent of the check was so nice. The ambiance was 90's retro they had a neon pizza sign and they had the first Nintendo there that you could play on they also had Pac-Man and galigai gaming tables. read more

Well my husband and I finally got to meet Otto and we ordered the Gina's Special. It was amazing especially paired with some homemade ranch and hot honey. Takeout service was good. Ambience was good and place was clean and tidy. Unfortunately, not our kind of pizza.

This was our first time eating at Gina's. We went for lunch on a Sunday and they had a number of people seating and eating. The place is really cool looking and gives old school pizzaria vibes. We LOVE the pizza! If you're looking for an amazing thin crust, try them out! We got the Western Flyer and it didn't disappoint. We are already looking forward to taking our kids there when they are back in town. Great service and great prices too! read more

Don't trust the reviews on the fb page, they block you if you say anything other than, how good it is. Very excited to get Gina's for the first time in a quite a long time, only to find out that the pizza is completely different from the original: it's very thin, not filling, and over priced. I didn't comment all of this on on the facebook page, because I was trying to be productive; instead I wrote that I was disappointed that it was not like the original and to let me know when they return to the original recipe and I will be back. However, I was quickly blocked by the owner from their Facebook page. read more

This is NOT Gina's Pizza. No where close. Ordered and picked up tonight. Should have looked at it before leaving. I ordered 1/2 cheese 1/2 pepperoni with extra cheese. Something I have prefer for well over 40 years. Got home and tiny pepperonis all over the pizza with very little cheese on it at all. VERY disappointed. If you are thinking you will get the original taste and pizza of Gina's-you won't and very little ingredients. So...I've lived in Burleson for almost 20 years and I'm ashamed to say I had never tried Gina's pizza before. I finally gave in to my curiosity and ordered take out tonight. (20 years!!) Let me start by saying I had the nicest experience with the staff here. So sweet and so very helpful, taking the time to help me with my order and answering all of my questions so politely. I almost wanted to hug the lady who took my order - it's so rare to find such kindness these days! As for the food, we ordered the Gina's Special pizza (no anchovies) and boy was it loaded with toppings and cheese. It was very light on the sauce, so if you're a sauce lover like me, I would order extra sauce or get some extra on the side. The sauce was tasty and I wanted more of it! The crust and toppings were all very good and I would definitely order this again! My husband ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and he was very happy with the flavor and the amount of sauce...and he's very picky on this as it's his favorite dish. He said he would give it an 'excellent' rating! It came with 2 big slices of garlic toast and a side salad loaded with cheese. My only complaint was the ranch dressing...tasted bottled and I only like homemade for Ranch. Oh well. No biggie. Overall, we were very happy with the quality, quantity and price of our meal here. Will most definitely be repeat customers! Only sorry I waited 20 years to try Gina's. BIG forehead slap on that one!! read more

I used to eat at this place all of the time before the remodel or owner change and the pizza used to be the best in burleson. Now it's just okay bar pizza, l would probably order dominoes or papa John's before Gina's now. The staff was very friendly and the ambiance gave off old school pizzeria vibes which was very cool but I wish they would go back to the old recipe.
