My family and I ordered several personal pizzas online. I chose this place since it was my birthday and being the only vegetarian in the family, I wanted to make sure everyone could order something they wanted. After eating a slice, I realized that they had put pieces of bacon all over my pizza (obscured by the cheese and other toppings so it wasn't immediately noticeable). This is absolutely unacceptable. I ended up feeling horrible afterwards. I have only eaten at MOD Pizza three times and this is the second time they have screwed up my order (at this location). read more

This place is always packed so I was quite hopeful when decided to try is out. I ordered online and picking up was quite easy. It was convenient and great to not have to wait in the long line. However the pizza itself left a lot to be desired. For a thin crust pizza there was no crunch to it at all, it was in fact quite doughy. The red sauce had a unexpected kick to it and both of the pizzas were missing pepperoni and a few other ingredients. The garlic bread was much better than either of the pizzas. I was really impressed with this type of fast food because it didn't taste like fast food. This pizza was very delicious. The fact you can get all the toppings you want is a plus. I love the fact you can take a family and not have to argue about what toppings to get because everyone can get their own. It's very reasonably priced. My new favorite place to eat! read more

I ordered 3 small pizzas. They weren't knowledgeable about the ingredients, didn't listen when I was givi g my order and had to remake 2 of the pizzas 3 times. Eventually, another employee stepped in and fixed it the correct way. My granddaughter was wait g by herself because hers was the easiest (cheese) and first to finish. this pizza chain is serious people. let's start with the food.... one word. awesome !!!! we came in and everything was hot and fresh and the staff was so nice and helpful. now to the safety.... they have closed down every other both forcing people to social distance. awesome idea. they set up a blue line around the counter to keep people back from the open food they use on the pizzas and salads. again an awesome idea.. let's talk refills.. so you want a free refill, no problem, just go to the counter and get a brand new cup and a refill. in a time where safety is an issue this place is doing what it takes to make sure you get good food in a safe and comfortable setting. this was they best part of the day so far!!!! Mod Pizza was the very best pizza I've had since moving to Virginia and coming from New Jersey. William, the general manager so so very nice and friendly, and Hannah and Tijucn were so helpful and friendly. The pizza I had , I designed myself and also was my husbands. It was made and cooked so fast we couldn't believe it. And then eating it was the best. The thin crust was delicious and all the toppings were so good. Just melt in your mouth a bite of deliousness. I went into mod pizza last night I have to say that environment was good and the staff was very nice. I order two pizzas and both were good. Only bad thing I can say is that one of the pizza bottom was a little oven done and a little burn in places so it kind of took away from the taste and favor of the pizza. I love this place. Every pizza has been delicious and the staff have always been super cool, attentive and professional. The ridiculous amount of options means you could show up a hundred times and have a different pizza every single visit. The gluten free crust and dairy-free "cheese" options that MOD provides gives even those with more limited dietary restrictions plenty to be excited about. I have nothing good to say about this pizza place. It is just over priced Ci Ci's. I added mushrooms, extra cheese, and onions to my meat pizza. It came with sauce, ground beef, sausage and bacon. It was over $14 dollars for an 11 inch thin crust pizza that was about a quarter inch thick. It had less than $3 dollars worth of ingredients lightly sprinkled on it. I drive a semi for a living and used Yelp's reviews as a guide on this one. If the locals think this is a good pie, they must have some really bad pizza joints in Chesterfield, VA. read more

I've been wanting to try Mod Pizza & I'm so glad I did! Will was very personable & did a great job making my pizza exactly the way I wanted it. It was still nice & hot in the box when I got it back. The crust & ingredients were very tasty. I liked the slightly charred crust the best (I got the thicker style crust & it was still moist & not dried out). The ingredients were all fresh. I really enjoyed watching them make the pizza too. I chatted with Will while he made my pizza & made me feel like it was just for me (which I guess it was lol) and that it was important that it was just right & exactly the way I wanted. I placed an online order. Needed to make a change to the order. Spoke to someone at their 'call center' to modify the order. We picked it up and the order was wrong. I drove back to the store and explained that I had the wrong order, and the store manager basically made me feel like I was a criminal trying to cheat her out of a $7 pizza...this after I had tried to call the store repeatedly to speak to someone and couldn't get through to an actual person. I will not be back to MOD. Not because they got the order wrong, not because they didn't answer the phone when I repeatedly tried to cal, but because the manager has absolutely no people skills and really truthfully should consider a different line of work. read more

Every time I try ordering ahead, they never start the pizza until I get there so there's really no point. Then the pizza is always undercooked. Don't ever order a chocolate shake, it tastes like a third grader making their own chocolate milk. This location is really disappointing. read more
