Everytime we visit San Antonio or Colorado Springs, we stop into MOD. Amazing selection of toppings, super nice staff, and delicious. Mix/Match the pizzas to your heart is content. They added a Chicken Bacon Ranch hot pocket kind of thing. But it's thin pizza dough and in pita wrap style. SUPER AWESOME. Filling. Affordable. Great flavors. Ranch tasted like something special. I haven't been to one of these pick your toppings pizza places in awhile. I used to have the exact order that I loved but I couldn't remember and so I just got pepperoni. It was good but I knew I could have ordered better. Service was great with the staff very patient and making suggestions. Rude! First time being here, so I went up to the cashier to order because none of the pizza makers greeted us to get our order. They just smiled, and we kept going. Could you put a sign to order here or maybe the pizza makers could acknowledge the customers as we come in? One of the pizza makers said that the arrow indicates this, but it shows to go to the cashier. One other item military discount was offered to another customer, but not to us. My husband is a disabled retired veteran and this was very upsetting. It was addressed by refunding my purchase and then charging me again with the discount applied. Need serious help with customer service. The pizza was good though, but customer service these days means a lot. Too many other places to go for pizza. read more

We went to MOD Pizza off of Northgate Road in Colorado Springs, Colorado last weekend. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was friendly, but the pizza was not cooked thoroughly. We were in a hurry and had no time to complain. As a result of being undercooked the pizza was soggy. I ordered a vegetarian MOD pizza, and my husband ordered a peperoni MOD pizza. If I return to this location I will ask for the pizza "well done." Lately, it seems difficult to acquire fast casual food that is cooked to a safe temperature. I've been to this location a few times. Last night, in particular, was an interesting night to be there and watch employees work. Place was packed when I went around 530pm. Many employees rushing all around the cooking area preparing orders. I was particularly impressed by how efficient all of these mostly young adults were working. They truly were busting their tails for the customers! I had made a to go order and 10-12 minutes later, I was walking out of the place with my order. Food is always decent and reasonable. I find it funny how many go to a place right down the street (east of here) maybe two miles away and pay an OUTRAGEOUS price for pizza when this place is equally as good and over half in the cost, but that's just me. Love this place. You can get a mini, 11 inch mod pizza or thick crust pizza. You can also get a salad. Many toppings as you want in a pizza or in a salad. You don't pay extra for toppings. Love to get double arugula on my pizza after the pizza comes out of the oven. I always get a side of Mike's hot honey to dip my crust into. The staff is so friendly. Great customer service! We as a family love Mod Pizza! I always get a made-to-order salad, very keto friendly, lots of meats and gorgonzola and lovely fresh basil. The guys enjoy their individually customized pizzas. Sirancha (Sriracha and ranch dressing combo) is a fav. The line is usually pretty quick, but tonight they got a lot of online orders while we were waiting in line. So two of six in our group got their food earlier because some online orders were done in between us. There were at least 10 of these while waiting my turn to order. So a little frustrating. And one of our party didn't get his pizza until after all of us because it had gotten dropped on the floor and had to be re-made. The staff really, really hustle and work well together. If you are in a wheelchair avoid this store during the COVID pandemic. They use flipped stools to enforce social distancing along the front line. I am sure that along the floor there is the 36 inches needed for wheelchairs. However the legs flair and there is not enough room to move a wheelchair. I busted several knuckles. I still have bruised and scabbed knuckles. I literally ended up with blood dripping off my fingers. They did not seem to understand that people in wheelchairs might need room to move through their line nor need help reaching items. Go to the Powers store they are much easier to use in a wheelchair. In a town where there's really not much good pizza (ton of quantity, very few quality places) MOD makes the case for some of the best in Colorado Springs. Lucky for us there's (currently) 3 across town and this location is perfect and their standards are right on par with the original. Build your own pie from scratch. Add as many toppings as you want (for no extra charge - like really, you can murder your pizza with an unhealthy amount of cheese & pepperoni & onion & jalapenos & ricotta [this is objectively the best combination - fight me] and have the workers question your life choices and you pay nothing extra) and customize your pie however you like. It's freshly baked in a wood-fired oven and it's usually out pretty quickly. I have a huge appetite, but their standard sized pie is usually perfect for me - even if it looks small-ish. They have the good ice in their drink machines, they serve beer, and did I mention the pizza is awesome? The only complaint - bring back the Valencia! They stopped carrying a few choice ingredients to be able to make the Valencia and since then I've been trying to fill that void of sadness with their other specialty pizzas, but nothing has come close. We've eaten at a couple MOD Pizza stores including the one on N Academy and by the Bass Pro store. Today, we both ordered the same toppings we always do, and the pizza was dry and lacking in flavor. When we checked it out, we discovered they were both over cooked. The entire pie was dark in color and some of the toppings looks a little burnt. Just not the usual pizza we are used to. I went to a young lady in the serving area and told her that our pizzas were quite overcooked. She asked me how I prefer my pizza! I said not burnt! The young man baking pizzas needs some training. I've been here a few times but this time, I was so pleasantly surprised at their service. I was picking up 7 pizzas, but one of my friends messed up their order. The staff gave me a free pepperoni pizza to make sure my friend didn't go hungry, though it was totally in our wrong. Their pizzas are high quality and highly customizable. Prices are very reasonable and the "MOD" pizza size usually fills me up quite well. They also have milkshakes, desserts, beers, salads, and a couple other items on their menus.
