Savelli's is a comfortable, family friendly local pizza spot. The pizza and pasta are both totally good, not the best you've had in your life by any means, but pretty universally likable. All of the people working were super nice, and they kept the place looking really clean and ready for its next guests. The eggplant parmesan is a highlight, and the salads are generously sized. If you're looking for a local pizza spot that'll work for you and your kids without breaking the bank, Savelli's is an easy pick in Manitou Springs.

We were staying at the hotel next door on the beginning of a one week motorcycle trip. Luckily one of the guys made a reservation for us, since there was 13 in our group. We walked in on a Saturday night at 5:30 and they had our table all ready! Big kudos for that. It's a charming restaurant and everyone was super friendly. Our waitress was in top of her game and was very efficient all night. It's more of a pizza restaurant but there are Italian options. I decided on the penne pasta in Alfredo sauce with chicken added. I started with the biggest side salad I've ever been served. Absolutely amazing! Loved every bite of it. The pasta was very tasty and it didn't take any longer than I hoped for to serve a large table. A very nice place for some good food!

Food was pretty good, I had the pasta which was a full! Was pretty good. Very small hole in the wall. Service could have been better our party of 8 only got checked on once

I'm not saying Savelli's makes you feel like you're back in Italy, but hey, it's not too bad for Manitou Springs! We started with mozzarella sticks, which were your standard-issue cheese logs, but then came the real star: the lasagna with a meatball on the side. Let me tell you, that meatball deserves its own fan club. My wife went with the chicken fettuccine Alfredo, and she was grinning like she'd just discovered pasta for the first time. The vibe is casual and cozy--more "small mountain town Italian" than "Roman holiday," but that's part of the charm. Service was friendly, the table was spotless, and the staff treated us like regulars even though it was our first visit. Ok If I had to give them an award, it'd be "Best Meatball in Manitou." Seriously--no matter what you order, get a meatball. Trust me, you'll thank me later (probably while loosening your belt a notch).

Everything was delicious! We stopped by for dinner as we walked back to our hotel and had a large all-meat pizza, fried pickles, mozzarella sticks, and minestrone soup. Fast, friendly service and great food! Best minestrone soup I've had in years!

The free parking lot was a great start, as we finished our hike at Manitou Incline and that was a requirement for us to have. The menu offered a nice selection of pizza, pasta, and salads. I opted for a pizza, and it arrived quickly. The crust was perfectly crispy, and the toppings were flavorful. The service was friendly and attentive. Inside gives mom and pop feel. It's also incredibly affordable.

The pizza is just okay I'd get it in a pinch because I live in manitou but whatever you do don't get there subs I paid like 14 bucks for an Italian sub and I got for that was a sub roll with with one single piece of thin ham and 8 slices of pepperoni and one single piece of cheese and a bag of chips haven't felt that ripped off in quite some time I'd have given this a one star review but the girl who served us was very nice so that's worth something

Greeted promptly and server Abby was delightful. Food was a mixed result. We had pepperoni pizza, pretty traditional except sauce is sweeter than we have had before. Chicken parmigiana had potential but it was not very warm and the sauce on the spaghetti noodles was very bitter (totally different than the pizza sauce). Family salad was good. Lots of black olives and onions and the cheese crumbles added a nice flavor and texture. Overall good experience and would recommend it.

After a day of hiking this pizza really hit the spot and on top of that, the gluten free option was amazing.

There is public parking across the street and it was $6.99 for two hours. Cute interior! They do warn you the kitchen is very small and it will take some time to make good food, so be prepared to be patient. We ordered a hummus tray as we were starving and that came out quickly and was tasty. It does come with hummus and tzatziki sauce. My husband ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and he said it was very tasty and the coleslaw was excellent as well I ordered the Southwest quinoa salad with added grilled chicken, I did ask for a 2nd serving of chimichurri sauce, and it was very tasty My niece had the veggie burger and she said it was very good- It was huge and she had to take half of it home. The craft beers were very tasty and I had a glass of wine as I'm not much of a beer drinker They do have a cute outdoor patio as well. Service was attentive, and if we were in the area would definitely be back. Total bill was about $130 before tip and included a total of four entrées, five beers and a glass of wine The menu both for beer and food is QR code so I have uploaded the food menu so you can see what they have. My understanding is the beers to change on rotation.

Our server was super helpful, patient and answered multiple questions. She was a bright spot! The Manitou Burger with cheese was good. It came with chips which were nice but I wish they had fries. Love all the sauces came on the side. My daughter ordered the plain white Mac and Cheese and while I liked it, she didn't like it all. It was too different of a flavor to make this work for most kids. The nachos are huge and queso was delicious. Enjoyed the beer. We wanted to sit outside but it was full. Inside was nice but the music was just way too loud for a decent table conversation. Pro Tip: no kids menu. Server said most kids order plain burger with cheese or plain Mac and cheese or the street tacos plain.

This visit brought me in for Mother's day brunch and it's evident that the establishment is under some major construction but this didn't deter from our feast. It seems the hotel could use some repairs and touch ups and so it's good to see that is underway. The buffet provided a wide variety of options from omelette station, breakfast items, seafood options, prime rib carving station, loads of sides, salad bar and more. My favorites were the au gratin potatoes, Brussel sprouts, and Mac & cheese. The dessert options were very limited as most items had run out and weren't refilled, but I was too full to care. Service seemed a little curt, but was sufficient. I don't think I would ever make a true judgement of a dining establishment based on a buffet experience so I'll have to go back for a regular service to truly explore what the Cliffhouse has to offer these days. Hopefully it is full of excellence as it once was. I'll be back.....

Cliff House at Pikes Peak - Thanksgiving "Buffet" 2025…read more We booked the Cliff House Thanksgiving dinner buffet for our family of five and paid around $500, expecting a special holiday meal in a beautiful setting. Unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences we've ever had. The "buffet" was set up in a small, cramped room, and the food quality was shockingly bad for the price. The turkey was clearly pressed turkey, not carved from an actual bird. There was no salad station, no green beans, no yams--none of the traditional Thanksgiving sides you would reasonably expect. Most of what was there tasted like it came out of a can or had been previously frozen, and everything was salted to within an inch of its life. They also mixed in brunch items, but those were just as bad. There was a silver bin of waffles that were so hard I could barely cut them. There was a single platter of fruit, and many of the other buffet options were picked over and lukewarm. Staff were slow to replenish trays or bring out anything fresh or hot, so what we saw was what we got--and it wasn't good. For the amount we paid, this Thanksgiving dinner was a total embarrassment. We ended up leaving a lot of food uneaten because it simply wasn't edible. I would not recommend the Cliff House Thanksgiving buffet to anyone, and we will not be returning for future holidays. We came back to our hotel, which was in Colorado Springs and called the Doubletree Hilton, and told the front office staff how disappointed we were in this very expensive Thanksgiving dinner at the cliff house. They told us that their kitchen is selling a Thanksgiving dinner for $25 a plate and would we like to try that. They said it was pretty good. We thought what the heck because all of us were still hungry. The Thanksgiving dinner that the Doubletree Hilton in Colorado Springs provided was one of the best Thanksgiving meals I've had in a long time. Huge portions, very tasty food, real pieces of turkey straight from the turkey, not pressed, and a third of the price. They literally put the cliff house to shame. Let me put it this way the Cliff house Thanksgiving buffet would have to move up about 10 steps before they were even as good as golden corral.
