We decided to give this place another try. I ate at another location and it was good. So I convinced my family to give it a try. The pizza was terrible and hard. Lacked cheese, sauce and visual appearence. We were told order online, come pick it up and no wait or hassle. hmm super simple right? No my husband had to wait additional time. Honestly, I've had WAY better pizza. But, this place let's you put a variety of odd, interesting flavors on your pizza. You can combine white and red sauce, you can put arugula or roasted corn on your pizza, and it's wood fired which is always great. While this place is unique, the pizza is just mediocre. I hadn't heard of MOD Pizza before it opened, but I definitely get why they have locations all over the place. The pizzas are custom, built to order creations on a thin, but not cracker-like, crust. The ingredients are fresh, and it definitely comes through after the pizzas are baked in their gas-fired brick oven. They have just the right amount of crispiness without falling apart. I went to this location and wasn't pleased. I got a normal cheese pizza and it was hard as a rock and burnt! I couldn't eat it at all!! I was disappointed as that was my first time trying MOD's . The cheese tasted stale, and the sauce was overdone. I am going back to this location only because my dad has never been and wants to try it. I just moved to the area and saw MOD Pizza! The first time I went it was great speedy/nice service and pizza was cooked to perfection! I went again tonight and yuck! Slow/not pleasant service and the guy shoveling the pizza in the oven had gloves on and was also on his phone...gross! I finally got my pizza and they doubled the dough (by mistake I assume) because it was a gummy mess and I actually pulled apart the cooked dough to reveal an extra layer of uncooked dough! Pizza is pretty good, but the service is horrible. Their organization is poor. Untrained cash register person who also has to open beer bottles and locate and serve you your take-out order. They should succeed in Conroe, but I won't be back anytime soon. Going to let them get their act together for a few months. read more

So I've good things about this place and decided to give it a try. I ordered online and my girlfriend and I went in to pick it up. After just a minute of standing in line, one of the guys working saw that I was kind of lost and called me over by name (it was on my order) and gave me my food. We told him it was our first time being there. He broke down how it worked and reminded us about our straws and even came from behind the counter to show us where everything was laid out. We were so excited and our food was just as amazing as our service. Genuine employees like this are hard to comeby and it was just so appreciated. Can't wait to go back! read more

Awesomely pizza! I'm so happy they have dairy free cheese! My two year old has severe food allergies and she loves to come here and enjoy her pizza! My only complaint is the staff- twice two employees have given me the ugliest looks when I asked them to change their gloves while preparing the pizza. Awesome concept and great pizza!! The crust is thin like a tortilla and it's fired in a brick oven, so it has a crunchy, perfect crust. It cooks in about 5 minutes. For one price, you pick as few or as many toppings as you want. Their salads are great too! My husband and I split a mini pizza and a mini salad and that's the perfect amount of food to come away satisfied and not overly full. Splitting a mod pizza and mod salad is way too much food. If we don't share, we each get our own mod salad. We've split a mod pizza before (no salad) and that was perfect. Since we load it with toppings, it's plenty to share. This is my favorite pizza place by far!!! Beware of the roasted garlic though! Only eat a couple. They're delicious, but if you eat too many, you will kill yourself with the toxic gas you produce. It's pretty bad. Definitely try MOD!! It's great! read more

I have been coming here since they opened in Conroe. Used to enjoy it. they have gone to the crapper. I literally asked for more cheese 10 times and they refused. I can see more crush then cheese on my pizza. never coming here again. they can save all the cheese they want when the don't have any customers. read more
