I placed an online order for a pizza and was quoted 20 minutes. When I arrived I told them I placed an online order and gave them my name. They said it would be ready shortly. An empolyee approched me a few minutes later saying I might want to double check because the guys forget to make orders all the time. I asked them If they had my order they said yeah but it's still wasn't ready. A few more minutes passed by so I asked how much longer..One of the employees said oh it's ready and showed me a pizza. The pizza was clearly not mine it had none of the toppings I asked for. He said well it's probably in the oven. He seemed really confused and unorganized. I love this place they are amazing. The service was great they greeted us with a great how is your day and everyone was so energetic and courageous and courteous to each person who walked through the door wonderful. Also the no-name-cake is awesome it's better than a ding dong. Tip: mix the lemonades together and it's wonderful this place is truly a blessing. from the second we walked in the place smelled pretty musty and foul. i've been into multiple mod pizzas and they are usually very clean and organized and the staff is sweet, but this location was odd. the man i ordered with was very sweet and helpful but while waiting in line (full of customers btw) the two employees behind the counter were telling eachother stories and cussing very loud it was not very professional. after i paid i went to get my drink and the whole counter around was very greasy and all the drink machines and lid holder was caked in dust. after i sat down to eat the employee started to clean the windows and i noticed he used the same paper towel to clean the doors that he used to clean the line and the tables, pretty unsanitary. also when he was cleaning the line there was a customer ordering and he was wiping right next to him giving him no personal space so the man moved down. read more

Love this place. I've only been twice but both times I had amazing service and amazing food! The people who work there are funny and nice. I love the pizza. Also you only have to pay for the base and get as many toppings as you want. It was only like $8 for a pizza. My friend and I have visited mod quite often. We enjoy the atmosphere and the pleasant nature of the employees. But our visit this time definitely fell short of par. We were addressed by a less than friendly girl asking our names and what we wanted. She did not say hi, just simply "what do you want". We then had to explain to the customer behind us how everything worked because it was his first visit and the lady did not explain anything and rolled her eyes when he wasn't completely ready. We continued to move down the line realizing they were out of roasted veggies. When we inquired if there would be more the lady responded with "Maybe you should have gotten here sooner". Unimpressed with the visit as a whole at this point we sat down to wait for our food. I went up to get my pizza only to realize someone else had picked up my friends Pizza. He brought it back to the counter and the guy asked if it was ok if she still took it. My friend did not want the food and they agreed to remake it. It came back to her with many toppings she had not requested and by this time my food was cold waiting on hers. In the end she was left with a giant pile of picked off toppings and when an employee was headed to the restroom he was if everything was good my friend went to answer and he interrupted her with "That's awesome" and walked away. MOD Pizza is very lively and eventful restaurant. The food is never out of your sight so you don't have worry about if someone is doing something to your food that they shouldn't. Even though the workers try to work as fast as humanly possible, they are still very friendly and have eyes all on you when you are ordering. They don't make you feel rushed or pressured. The pizza sometimes come out a little too crispy, but it's still cheesy goodness handed down from the gods themselves. read more

Walked in and the First Lady taking my order was talking to her friend/boyfriend standing behind me. It took her forever to even pour the sauce on my pizza. Finally when I made it to the cashier, he was on his phone looking at his Snapchat! Needing a quick but good meal and not in the mood for burger and fry drive thru, went to Mod on a whim. It was pretty good. Loved the pricing structure and how quick the pizzas came out. The Pesto sauce was very good. Great variety of toppings including bbq sauce, sweet potatoes etc. I only wished they had prosciutto. The reg and blueberry lemonade was great. Unfortunately I tried two bottles of sparkling water that were very flat so I gave up and had tap. I'd definitely go back. I did observe an interesting mix of patrons. It's labeled "hipster" so I should have managed my expectations. Some of the staff were "interesting" but nonetheless great service. Appropriately placed humor while we took forever to order and manage impatient and hungry Littles. They also made great suggestions to help move us down the line. Four stars for judging in "quick casual dining category. Would be lower if judging against pizzaria category. But still. I'd go back somewhat regularly. read more

Buffet prep style pizza was good, pizza came out fairly quickly. The constant screaming of names(when customers pizza is ready) was over the top irritating, it was practically impossible to have a conversation with someone at your table. In the restaurant wasteland, how wonderful to find a MOD! If it doesn't taste good, you can only blame yourself. Compared to the other competitor in other parts of TX (Blaze), love having the option to downsize or upsize depending on hunger level. Never been hungry enough for a Mega but that could easily feed 3 "normal" adults. Set up is a little weird bc some toppings are kept in the "salad area" so gotta remember to ask for them early on ex:spinach and I miss the ovalini. I mix sauces- red/white/green and then try to hold myself back since too many ingredients can get u one SOGGY pie. I go ahead and ask for it in a Togo box but then eat a few slices on the plastic plates provided. I'd get rid of the super high tables and put in more 2 person ones. We ordered three pizzas online for pickup at noon. When I went to the counter to pick up the pizzas at noon they were just being put in the oven. I sat five feet from the girl at the pickup station and waited for my name to be called until 12:20. I don't usually do reviews but I just had to share how sad and unacceptable this experience was.I come to Mod Pizza a lot and I've never had a problem with any of your staff members till I came across Ashton, at first she was nice with me but I kept asking her for things and she got irritated with me. As we hit the register and cashed me out she did not whatsoever make eye contact with me nor did she seem like she even wanted to talk to me. Once I heard my name I asked her for dipping sauces and an 8 cut and she mumbled what I heard as "bitch" under her breath, how unacceptable for MOD to hire people who can't even have patience nor respect for their customers, I've been coming to this location since the opening and I'm sad to say that I will no longer come to that location. I've never made a complaint but I just had to share with you guys, how MOD really lets their employees treat you. What a shame. read more
