I have been to MOD pizza in Seattle but I was happy to hear that we were getting one in Federal Way. I haven't had a chance to stop by until today as I joined their rewards program and you get a free No Name Cake so I figured this would be a good time as any to try them out. There is plenty of parking and they have seating both inside and outside. The interior here is lovely and perfect for all occasions! The staff here were very friendly and ensured that my experience was positive. They had my order ready and the No Name Cake was delicious! Honestly, the food is good as was expected. Nothing special just a run of the Mill chain restaurant, but there is something to be said about consistency and they definitely are consistent. Order was quick and on point! I appreciate the worker that made sure the toppings were spread out evenly throughout the pizza and took his time. That is someone that knows how to make a pizza and does it well. The pizza was nicely done. My boyfriend gets the gluten free crust due to allergies and notices that sometimes his is burnt probably because the gluten free pizza dough is frozen and takes longer to defrost. This time and location, it was nicely cooked! Mine as well. The cashier though looked like he was mad at the world and hates his life, but still did his job in checking us out. Quality food and love the options. Tonight customer service was completely off and by the manager at that. Only two people in the store and I was the second person. Lots of staff but I was completely rushed by the manager as she made my salad and pizza. I wound up forgetting an item or two actually. So the rest of the staff was good at customer service. Especially Lexi who once I was sitting in my car waiting for my pizza and explained to her the situation she brought me the forgotten bacon for my salad and offered me a free pizza coupon card. I order some food here on the mobile app and the only option it give you is "order pickup" (see attached photo below) and I get here 10-15 minutes later see the curbside order, so I call the number as instructed and they told me I had to come in the store. Like what's the point of having a curbside if you have to come in the car. Especially during times like this, I don't wanna be walking into a huge restaurant with 20-30+ people, little kids running my around and such. 2. The whole point of ordering through a app is to slow down the wait time, but 15 minutes after placing the order, I have to wait another 30 minutes. Sitting down at a table that is sticker than tape. What an amazing atmosphere this place is. I want to give a big shout out to Sydney (Like Australia) for being an amazing person. She made our meal more delicious then possible. I have tried 3 different MOD pizza location and this is by far my favorite place and what makes it really cool I literally live down the road so I will be back. Our meal consists of build your own pizza and a glass of yummy Manny's beer $4.97 for the beer price is not bad and pizzas and salads range from $5-$9. This location was clean and fun. I like my pizza crust thick doughy, stringing, cheesey and lots of toppings, that when you take a bite of your pizza, the cheese is hanging on... this pizza was like eating fried tortilla with some toppings. I suggest not to go there if you are really hungry because thier pizza are smaller then what you see. I didn't like the dark sweet sause that was spread over the pizza, make sure that you say yes or no when they ask you about the sauce. Where do I begin. Store opens two minute late.. now, I know it's not a big deal but when you only have 30 minute for lunch it is. They don't have white and tell me it's a 15 minute wait.. I didn't drive here to have to wait for 15 minute. When you open it means everything should be ready. The soda nozzles are not in, and I get syrup all over my jacket.
