This is the first time I've been at MOD pizza and it was good but what really made my day was my interaction with Faith. She was so inviting. She helped me decide what I wanted by walking me through the whole process of choosing my crust and toppings. I dont eat a lot of pizza and for good reason but I sure will revisit a place that has amazing customer service!!!! This place is a chain and has the atmosphere one would expect from that. However, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the pizza was tasty, everything was fast. There is some outdoor seating which was not obvious at first, wish the outdoor seating had a little more love. But overall I would recommend for a quick, casual bite to eat. read more

A hidden pizza gem! I am new to Raleigh and got a coupon in the mail for a free pizza at Mod. I have never heard of them, but free is right in my price range, so off I went. The place has an industrial loft feel and was very clean, which I like. I was treated nicely and the staff explained this was all the toppings you want for one price. There are two pizza sizes - 11 inch which should do for two normal people (or one hungry me!) and a six inch individual. There are heavy duty and gluten free crust options. One can also make a salad to order as well. The staff was friendly and helpful answering all my questions and making sure I got the pizza I wanted. It came out of the oven in minutes (they said the oven was 700 degree plus) and was wonderful. I usually don't like the crust, period - but this was divine. Hot, crunchy and after one bite a heavenly choir began to sing. I ate everything. The only thing I would change is the napkins - way too thin for such a robust pizza. Since the decor is a little industrial perhaps papertowels on metal racks? I am so glad to have found this place. I will be back! read more

What a unique concept. The pizza here is truly unique and super quick. All you have to do is go through the line, pick your pizza and wait for them to call your name. The pizza takes about 5 minutes to cook (if even that) and you'll have it in your hands before you barely even have time to grab your drink from the soda fountain. I was very disappointed in my service here. I walked in and a guy came to take my order but then walked away instead of just making it. He proceeded to talk with friends and asked Erin(an employee) to make it but she was busy at the register. So then he had to come make my pizza anyway. I get to the register and Erin is on her phone and talking with her friends/ employees not really paying attention. So I'm waiting for her to stop socializing and do her job. Amazing pick your own topping pizza place! I work less than 10 minutes from Mod so I try to be there at least once a week if possible. The price of $8 for a mod pizza is incredible. You can pick no toppings. Or you could pick ALL the toppings! You can mix and match toppings until you get a pizza of your desired taste. I like to go all meat on my pizza with mod sauce and barbecue sauce. The mega is also a great option if you want extra crust and sauce. The service is fairly fast but the employees are genuine and one of a kind! They always have a sense of humor and are very courteous to the customers. Soon as I walked in the door I was welcomed by all 37 staff members ala Moes. Staff member figured I'd never been there since I didn't know I could get everything on a pizza so she told me that I could indeed get anything & everything on my pizza, free of charge at that. #Winning I promptly added what I wanted & ordered a Cinnamon pizza for dessert. They call it cinnamon sticks but it's just a pizza crust with cinnamon & sugar on it that they bake & cut up. No biggie. Overall the pizza was pretty good, even though being from Western New York I'm not used to thin crispy pizza. Customer service was great, food was palatable, can't see a reason not to come back next time I'm craving some pizza. read more

I don't generally like these single flat pizza places, but MOD actually tastes really good. Also the staff here is awesome. Went to lunch today and added a couple things to one of their suggested pizzas. Finally!!! An individual pizza with ingredients I choose, in a size I want! I love the mini pizza. My husband prefers one of the larger sizes, and we love that we each get to make our own with the numerous toppings available. The crispy thin crust and the melted cheese always is so tasty and hot! We get pizza to go now from Mod several times a week. They are super fast! I am really glad Mod moved into our area! Awesome place!! We've been a few times already, and the pizza is pretty good. The best part is that I can get a pizza with all my fav stuff that no other fam members like. The staff are very friendly -- my kiddo especially loves ordering pizza with superhero names just to hear them yell it out. Today's experience was especially great -- they joked with my 4yo about her meat-only pizza & compliment "Super Girl" on her superhero choice. Came here on a Saturday night dinner time. Place was pretty busy. First guy that took my order was great. He explained the way the ordering worked and the moved it on to the next line order guy. That's where everything went downhill. None of the other line order guys even looked a bit happy to be there. They didn't even speak to us. I have eaten here plenty of times, but am finally done. The food is actually is good, but the staff is absurdly stingy with the toppings. Its pathetic. When you ask for a little extra cheese they basically just pretend to add more and give you a mean stare. The worst is the woman with the Pikachu hat. I discovered this place by accident. I was in the area and had a taste for some pizza. Looked up pizza in my phone and this was close by. First impression : clean. Staff quickly greeted me and explained how it works. You basically build your own pizza. It reminded me of a subway or Chipotle. And you can put as many toppings on as you like. Love this. I've gone here about 3 times since that first visit and each time was great. If you like thin crust, this place is for you. I have learned that there are other places with this same concept in the area but MOD advantage over the competition is that they offer 3 different sizes. I tried it for lunch last Friday!! I did the online ordering and I got red sauce, with extra cheese, chicken pepperoni, jalapeño, mushrooms and pineapple. It was quickly done and let me tell you AMAZING! So tasty and slightly charred just how I like! So great I came back this past Sunday with my whole family. Such a disappointment! The concept reminded me Subway meets Moe's. Assembly line pizza, you pick the toppings and the employees do a lot of yelling. We ordered a cheese pizza and a mad dog. I'll just start this review off by saying WOW. This is the best service I've received around the triangle in a super long time. My visit started off with the frontline greeting me saying "welcome to mods". They had my pizza ready and baked within 5 minutes.
