    Honey Mustard Chicken Grinder
    Jillian S.

Great place for a quick, satisfying lunch! We called to order takeout while in the plaza. At first I was looking at the wrong menu. On google, be sure to search for the Rudino's in Garner menu. This family-owned restaurant is different from the Rudino's sports bar chain. The menu offers a variety of options. We wanted a light lunch so we chose two grinders. The chicken ranch club and honey mustard chicken. Our order was ready in about 15 minutes. Everything was accurate and delicious. I was pleasantly surprised at how filling the sandwiches were. I enjoyed the honey mustard chicken grinder, it just needed more flavor. The fries were crisp and seasoned. Overall we enjoyed our meal and would eat here again!

    Calzone and Reuben grinder.

I can wait to go back. Seriously I have the next two things already selected if I can override my desire to have another Reuben grinder. My husband had a calzone and it was plenty for lunch and leftover lunch the next day in the air fryer. The fires are crinkle cut baked. Tasty enough. The next time I am going to get a club grinder, then an Italian, and then a calzone with spinach , feta, and mushrooms!! Then back to the Reuben!! This is like a grinder shop we had in Michigan. Couldn't find anything this yummy in California. They only had cold subs and few places made calzones. Excellent. Will be back for sure !!

I have to agree with the others who say this place is just mediocre. The young man working the cashier was very nice, knowledgeable, and friendly. The prices are fair. I ordered a slice of cheese pizza and 6 mild wings. The cheese pizza was alright, the cheese pull was great, but overall it was just lacking flavor. The wings were okay as well. The sauce was really good, but the wings overall were just average. I might stop by again to give it another shot because they have a decent sized menu.

I was all excited when I got here to go to a buffet and eat at 12:50 p.m. which is right in the middle of lunch I should have known something was wrong because there was only 10 people in the whole restaurant. I paid $8.50 including a drink. I went to the buffet line and there was only a couple of pizzas left and of those there was probably four pieces on each. There were five empty Pizza Pans sitting there that had been eaten and not replenished with anything. I got two pieces went to my table and ate it. The pizza was not even warm and did not taste good. I was ready to go up and get more but noticed another customer standing up there asking them will they'll be more pizza put out and the person behind the counter told him yes they are going. I waited 5 minutes and there was no pizza put out nor did there seem to be any concern about the buffet by the staff. I got tired of waiting and walked to the front to the two people running the place and politely said to them "I obviously have made a mistake by coming to eat at this place" and left. They were not even phased didn't even respond so I just chalked it up to experience and quietly walked out knowing that I'll never eat at this place again. I am sitting in front of the restaurant right now its 1:10 in the afternoon and since I've been in my vehicle writing this review I have watched every one that was in there leave except for two people.... that's not a good sign to have a business like that with a lot of traffic around here and no one to eats there however Mojo's Grill next door has a line. Next time I'll go next door and try Mojo's Grill.

Italian food is personal. It either resembles what your family makes it it doesn't. This wasn't my style. Not bad but not what I'm used to.

Great place to get some GOOD Italian food in Garner!…read more This location is right off Veterans Parkway (formerly known as Highway 42) with a large private parking lot. There's a main entrance as well as a separate door for retrieving pick-up orders. Although I've only been twice so far, both times the service was great. Upon being seated, our server greeted us and filled our glasses with water. I love that they leave large bottles of water at your table so you don't have to wait for a server for a refill. Next, our server shared the specials of the day. Each day, there are soup and entree specials. On my first visit, I ordered the Rigatoni Rustica, and it was DELICIOUS. The cream sauce was magnificent. I loved how rich and creamy it was while not being too heavy. My mother ordered the lasagna. It was good, but the only issue was that in the middle, there was a lot of pasta and not a lot of meat sauce, so the noodles seemed a little thick and not as appetizing. Not a huge issue, but we like a lot of meat sauce. My dad ordered the Cajun Ravioli, which was the special for the day. It was delicious as well. I highly recommend and it's become one of my favorite places in the area to grab some good Italian food. The portions were great and the prices are reasonable!

We went with the plof and manti. The atmosphere in the restaurant had great holiday decorations amd was very cozy. Unfortunately the feont attendent was very nonchalant and unbothered to assist us, came off very cold hence my 4 star out of 5. The server that brought out our food was well dressed and had great customer service. The food was fresh and delicious! Definitely check out the Uzbekistan food on the menu!

We had let the staff know ahead of time how many were in our party and I can't say enough good things about how well-prepared they were. We were sat quickly, got our waters and drinks, and they did everything in their power to get our food out as quickly as possible. They did not stop moving the entire two hours we were there. The staff at this place is absolutely amazing. Now, onto the food. They have both an Italian and Uzbek menu. I got the garlic knots, a side salad, and the steak kabobs, and my partner got a side salad and the lasagna. We both were very happy with our food. I really love the garlic knots here. In total we paid a little over $50, which included tip. An amazing experience beginning to end.

Still one of my favorite pizza pies 15 years later. I just love this place. Great spot to meet up…read morewith friends and share a pie.

Once upon a time, this place wasn't just a pizza restaurant--it was a pilgrimage site. People…read morewhispered about its crust like it was sacred text, and its awards lined the walls like a shrine to melted cheese and triumph. "Best Pizza" many years running back when that actually meant something. Now? It feels less like a restaurant and more like a nostalgic reenactment gone very wrong. The menu still reads like a dream--Carolina crust this, atomic sauce that--but ordering has become a real exercise in imagination. Half the ingredients are apparently on a spiritual journey and no longer physically present. You'll ask for sharp cheddar and get a thoughtful pause, followed by, "We don't have sharp cheddar, we might have a Wisconsin sharp cheddar?" --which, to their credit, has the word "cheddar" in it. The staff move with the energy of a group project that everyone forgot was due today. Pizzas emerge... interpretively. You might order a margherita and receive something that captures its essence, emotionally, if not structurally. It's less "wrong order" and more "pizza as a suggestion." A master of creative problem-solving, this cashier has boldly redefined the concept of "making change." Why fumble with buttons and math when you can simply hand over two beers and call it even? It's less of a transaction and more of a surprise gift exchange--one where the rules are unclear and the outcome is mildly concerning. And the wine list--oh, the wine list--is a beautiful historical document. A relic. A time capsule from at least six months ago, when bottles still existed and hope flowed freely. Now, asking for wine feels like asking about a long-lost friend. "We don't have that," they'll say, gazing into the middle distance. Still, there's something oddly annoying about it all. Like walking into a once-revered theater that still clings to its golden-age reputation. The performances feel like echoes rather than art, the lighting flat where it once dazzled, and every scene drags with the weight of trying to live up to a forgotten past. It's not bad enough to be a disaster--just disappointing enough to make you wonder if the hype was ever real or if you're just eating the ghost of someone else's great experience. Cheers!
