DELICIOUS PIZZA and a great staff of employees running the business. You're greeted as soon as you step in the door, and thanked before you leave. Very cool. If you've never been to a Mod Pizza, it's set up like a Subway or Papa Murphy's, where you go down the counter telling them which toppings to add. The pizza only takes about 5 minutes to bake, and then it's time to eat! The prices were great, too (only $8 for the standard "Mod-size" 11-inch pizza with as many toppings as you'd like). I'd recommend the "Calexico" if you like spicy flavor. Well done, Mod Pizza. Well done.

MOD was never a real competitor in OC or LA but once I found myself in TC with nothing close to the options I used to have, I found myself at its doors hoping for the best. I was pleasantly surprised. The prices are way cheaper than a typical build-your-own, but the drawback is that the dough is a LOT more thin. This could even be seen as a positive aspect for those who stay away from carbs... but it also means that anything more than 3-4 toppings can make your pizza into a flimsy heap that needs to be held NY style (folded in half). Also odd was that their greens are one of the first choices...blazed greens are not my idea of healthy greens at all. I miss being able to top them on the pizza at the end after the pizza is removed from the heat. Oh well, you win some, you lose some... Will be back!

Fun place for the entire family! I can have my own mini pizza (perfect size for my meal) with pesto, pickled onions, ricotta, olives, spinach, all the spices, jalapenos and anchovies and my family will leave me be in my happiness!

I love Mods but they are inconsistent. Sometimes the dough is raw but this time it was burnt underneath and they put on my pizza that I didn't request. Oh well I will be back.

Pretty good pizza but one of our pizzas was burnt the other was undercooked luckily the undercooked one could just be heated a bit more in the oven.

AYCE toppings? and under $8.00.....YES! This was my first visit and I was impressed with the number of fresh toppings offered as well as the variety of toppings. It's pretty cool to be able to create a customized pizza. Just remember if you add a lot of toppings ask them to cook it a few more minutes so the middle doesn't get soggy. I did not order a salad but the lady in front of me did and it actually looked really good, super fresh and was really big. There's plenty of seating indoor and out. Staff is fun and super energetic :-) and pizza came out of the pizza oven pretty quickly. There's beer, teas, fresh juices, fountain drinks and milkshakes. Great spot to grab lunch.

Great place for quality pizza, kid and budget friendly! MOD pizza is better than the other "make your own personal pizza" chains on the east coast and absolutely the cheapest. You can ask for as much or as little toppings that you want, no extra charge. Less than $8 for a personal pizza. Fresh toppings, unique drinks, and fast service. Hopefully you get in with no line like I did :). After lunch rush before dinner time is your best bet. Worth the drive! What we ordered: 3 create your own- all with marinara sauce and extra mozzarella. Add salt and pepper and/or oregano for flavor -Canadian bacon (delicious), pineapple, roasted garlic, add Asiago -Ground sausage, olive, pesto sauce. Add Asiago -plain cheese

This MOD is busy generally but well staffed. Finding a place to sit may be a challenge on a weekend evening. That being said they are still efficient enough to allow for a lunch during a lunch break. Store is clean and staff is friendly. Plus they change their gloves when dealing with dairy free requests. I've said it before, but MOD is the attractive Pizza cousin of Subway. Add any ingredients that you like to a quality pizza. read more

As a New York City area native, I am particular when it comes to food that is called Pizza. Mod is passable. I would go back. It's pretty busy at night, so 15 minutes on line are to be expected. As fifty-something people, my wife and I could have been parents or grandparents to 95% of the patrons and staff, so a young crowd is the norm. The Pizza was ok when it came out, a pretty good deal for the price. It's Roma style, so flat across, no puffy edges which is Neopolitan style. Crust had good bite and flavor, toppings were tasty. Is it some place I can't live without? No. Will I be back? You bet. read more

Vegans and vegetarians stay away from this location. You'll go out of your way to order dairy free cheese and veggie toppings only to get it home covered in disgusting bacon. My fault for not better checking when I left the store but the cheese and sauce cover the toppings so it's not always easy to see. They refunded me and offered me another pizza if I ever come back but I'll be staying far away from any Mod restaurant. read more

If I had to choose my favorite pizza in TC it would me MOD. The flavors are fill and the price is right. The staff is always friendly and puts care in making your pizza just the way you want. I'm excited with the new rewards program and interested in how and if it will expand. My only gripe is I live in Pasco and have to go to West Richland to enjoy their pizza. read more

This is the second order in a row that my order has been an hour late for curbside pickup. I was not given an order update to alert of the delay or any reason as for why it took so long. The customer service was horrible. I will not be going to this Mod or any other in the future. Order at your own risk, and I hope you aren't hungry. read more

I really do love mod pizza, but found a hair baked into the crust of my pizza for the second time today. The first time it happened I received a $25 gift card, the second time a free pizza voucher. This has also happened to a friend of mine and my guess is that it's a regular occurrence based on the staffs reaction. My suggestion? HAIR NETS! Until then, I don't think I will be back. MOD gets one point for any pizza same price and one point for having our prepaid pizza done and boxed 2 minutes after our reserved order time. (Unlike Papa Murphy's where we have yet to get our prepaid reserved pickup time pizza even started by the time we get there to pick it up). Pizza taste? It was ok, crust was sloppy damp, not cut through, red sauce tasteless, roasted garlic was cold giant cloves. Not sure what the green stringy things were but we sure didn't order them. You could probably serve it to kids who didn't know better but there are better deals and pizza in town. read more

Can't believe I waited so long to try this place. The pizza is excellent with good quality ingredients. Decently priced too. Only reason I didn't give full five stars is that two of the three times I have made an order, the expected wait time was much longer than stated. However, both times this has happened, they called me informing me of the extra wait time and asked me if I would like to proceed with my order. read more

Our first time here, we loved it!!! You go through a line like at Subway and get just what you want!!! I had a salad and vegan pizza with vegan cheese! My friends enjoyed their meals as much as I did! Between us we tried most of the vegan ingredients. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The staff was friendly and efficient as there was a bit of a line. Our food was made quickly and hot/cold as it should be. The staff was busy keeping the place clean and the stream of customers moved through like clockwork! The seating was not over crowed and the tables outside were being used on the sunny day. We will visit again when we are in the area. read more

Long line still at the restaurant but moved quickly. We were there around 7:30pm on a Thursday night, line was all the way to the door. It took 17 minutes ( timed it!) to get up to ordering counter, not too bad. Then it was another 8 minutes before our names were called to pick up the pizza. I asked for the fig balsamic glaze in a cup to put over my pizza, it was delicious. A 11" pizza is less than $8 no matter what you put on it, we would definitely return again. read more

Had Mod Pizza for the first time today. I took my daughter and son with me. My son ordered a pizza with pepperoni, hamburger and sausage. My daughter had white sauce, red peppers, basil, onions and pesto. Mine had onions, mushrooms, garlic and red sauce. The crust was thin, and chewy, some of the best pizza crust I have ever had. Ordered 2 pizzas from them, when we got them my pizza was correct but my wifes came completely wrong. she asked for chicken, white sauce, pesto drizzle, mushrooms, tomatoes and green peppers. Hers came as a salami with red sauce, garlic, hot peppers, pesto, corn, black olives and onions......So yeah, the wrong pizza got put in our box, with stuff on it that my wife is allergic to. When we brought this up to them we were just told to come back tomorrow and order the right one. Then we come to find out that we are still expected to pay for someone elses pizza, and then had to pay to order from somewhere else just to get her some food. Absolutely pathetic customer service. read more

You walk in and looks fine you go to order and everything is a mess, I placed my to go order and when I went to look for a place to sit (lots of options, not to many people ) the place was a mess, garbage all over the floor and table, no matter what area, lots of garbage on the floor, trash over filled that garbage fell on the floor, at least 8 employees working and all of them just talking with each other having a great time. Yummy pizza and all the toppings you want for the same price?! Yes! I love the thin crust and all the different sauce choices from white sauce to pesto to a garlic rub to regular sauce! The breadsticks aren't very good but their blackberry lemonade is tasty. I will definitely be back. read more

Their pizza is delicious and I love coming here but everytime I come here the staff is rude and have a please hurry and leave attitude. They put cheese on my pizza and passed it to the end and didn't ask if I even wanted any meat on it or anything and when I had them take it back and put meat they got an attitude. I hope their staff gets nicer because I want more pizza from here read more

The pizza at this location tastes good, but the service is extremely slow. I had to wait in line for 30 minutes before even ordering. Sometimes I drive by, see a long line through the window, and keep driving. Please, improve your workflow so that customers get served in a timely fashion. read more

I don't k now what's up with fast food places in the Queensgate area, but I've had bad luck there lately trying to get lunch out 2:30. First it was Habit Burger who were out of fries, milk shakes and almost all beverages on a Monday afternoon. Then it was KFC before that. I went to the drive through one afternoon and they were just closed. A sign on the drive thru window just said close. Then I was Dickey's. I went in there and a gal said "I be right with you". I waited, decided on my order, and waited. I could hear 2 girls talking in the back but nobody cared to take my order. So, I left. Today it was MOD Pizza. I stopped in on a Thursday afternoon at 2:30. I was met at the door by a guy who just said "we're closed until 4:00.No explanation just we're closed. I asked why and he rudely replied "we're closed til 4". A little explanation would have gone a long way. I'm sick of driving to Queensgate for these experiences. Don't be scared to try this place.. they've had it out Yakima for probably a year now and it's the most popular place in town. I'm really glad they're expanding because their food, the atmosphere and the customer service is always just right. Do yourself a favor and try the Dillon James with the balsamic fig glaze as a drizzle. read more

Twice now we have ordered online for curbside pick up and both times our orders have been over 20 mins late after it was promised. They focus on walk in orders over online orders so save yourself time and forget online. Had another car waiting for their order and they had been waiting over a hour. Unacceptable. Corporate needs to step in and retrain of time management. read more

Love the pizza and all the available ingredient choices they offer. Great concept! Also, love the "No Name" cake! The only thing I could offer as a suggestion and this is me being nice . . . Some, most of the folks that work their look like they could use some training on the value of personal cleanliness and style. Most look like addicts or quasi-homeless. Weird doesn't have to mean dirty or unappetizing. :) read more

We had salads and a pizza. The salad with pepperoni and grilled chicken is really good. Not my first time at a Mod and they always make good pizza. The staff was super helpful and really energetic. The missing star is due to general cleanliness of the tables and floor. read more

Since this social distancing came around we haven't seen our good friends. We figured let's buy them dinner! I shot her a text and she asked for Mod's their favorite. Our friends wanted to create their own pizza and we decided to call in the order because it was a long list. Manager Lisatte said I couldn't pay over phone but to go on line to pay. She went ahead and took my order then walked me through the on line process order giving me the ability to pay on line. She took the time to make sure I was happy with order and that I felt comfortable with the process. Kudos to manager for going the extra mile! The only regret is I didn't see tip line until I had paid. I called back to make sure payment went through and Tommy helped me. When I mentioned what happened he was happy to help and double checked. Pizza was being created and good to go! Thanks Mod crew for being so efficient and kind. I felt special instead of a pest. read more

I'm picky about pizza and a bit of a purist. Mod doesn't compete with the better quality pizzas. But I'm not going to hold that against them. They try. The topping selection is good and the price is wonderful. I wish the tri cities had better pizza, but it's eastern Washington so there's that. I'm giving a favorable review. It's decent pizza though I like a softer crust. The people were nice and you can order using an app, in advance. read more

After a day of wine tasting, my group was quite hungry. 2 ordered the the mezzah plate - one had falafel, and the other had lamb. The portions were huge and came with 2 choices of spread, along with a pita the size of a raquet! The hubby and I settled on Fish cake with sweet corn succotash and gnocchi. Honestly, the Fish cake dish was oh, so delicious! I would happily ordered that over and over again. To end our meal we shared the Sicilian donuts and Strawberry shortcake. I was quite stuffed when we left. Add Dovetail Joint to your list when in Richland. Even one of the winemakers recommended them to us!

FOOD: In our group of 5, everyone ranked the food at 3.5/5 and one 3/5. They're on a great track to have a great dining experience, you can see the intent is there - it's just needs some sharpening. The pastas were just ok, lacking in flavor. The pizza was 1/3 crust and doughy. My fish taco was very good, but just 1 taco for the order which I ordered as my entree... would have been nice to have that listed or been told by the server since fish tacos usually come in multiples. I order a Caesar whenever it's on a menu, I loved the grated parm, but the dressing was very mayo flavored, needed garlic, acid, something. That's a lot to harp on, but really I could tell the heart is there and I look forward to coming back again in the future, I could see this place being a solid dining experience!

I liked the sauce but just a bit on the bland side especially if you shared the lasagna, we often eat half and switch so we can experience more. I started with the spaghetti so thought the sauce was good, definately eatable. LAM started with the lasagna so she thought the spaghetti sauce was bland. The meatballs were ok, but not what I grew up with, I like age softer meatloafy style meatballs. That said, not what I prefer. The breads sticks were outstanding skinny begets sprinkled with flake salt.

The 3rd thing is I just ordered the exact same thing 2 months ago and this time it was $5 more than a couple months ago. I will never go to a Round Table again, the customer service is absolute garbage!

I've always enjoyed visiting Mod in Queensgate, but my recent experience highlighted some areas that could benefit from improvement. Firstly, I noticed that the staff seemed stretched thin, with only one person handling the pizza-making during a busy period. The long queue extending to the door was a testament to the popularity of your establishment, but it also suggested a need for better team coordination and support. Additionally, I observed two staff members handling phone orders who had full beards. While this in itself is not an issue, the lack of beard nets or covers raised concerns about hygiene standards, especially in a food preparation area. I believe that Mod has always stood out for its quality and service, and I am confident that these issues can be addressed. Enhancing teamwork to manage busy periods more effectively and ensuring strict adherence to hygiene standards would not only improve the customer experience but also uphold the high standards that Mod is known for. Would have recieved 5 stars if it wasn't for whoever was cooking those pizzas today. I got my pizza a little too quickly. One half edge of my pizza was burnt, the rest of it was still cold and had a raw texture. You should be paying your cooking staff to cook pizzas, not lean on everything and half ass what I felt was going to be an amazing meal. Disappointed in this unusual demeanor. Whomever took my order, short (indian?) girl, was very easy to hear, but she clearly looked like she didn't even want to work today. She doesnt seem to treat her fellow co-workers very nicely either. That was very off putting. This store is almost like the MOD experience I'm used to and you guys will get there! Give it time! read more

I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of options available and chose to create my own pizza. Mod pizza will now be my "go to" place when my pizza cravings occur. What I found unique and most delicious was the addition of a balsamic fig glaze after my pizza was removed from the oven. My appreciation to Alec for this suggestion. read more
