Stopped in for a quick dinner pickup, first time so didn't know what to expect, there was a line (means its popular :) ). Line moved right along, Staff was upbeat and explained how to place my order, tried two 11" make my own pizza's. Very quick process, paid and sat down to wait for my order to go. Manager does need to have a point person for trash and plate removal to keep it tidy but that was the only little negative in the whole experience. Wasn't long at all that my order was ready. It was a mess when we went trash everywhere the girl making our pizza was nice as for the rest of the employees we encountered a cashier who was so rude to us and the ppl in front of us and he never stopped touching his face or nose ive been in the food service before i know better then to touch my face or anything and then handle someones food i nearly walked out i was so grossed out we have never been to Mod before this visit so we were unsure of things and couldnt even ask our cashier about it with out being met with a rude response! we sat outside the inside was a mess i wish id taken pictures! There was a new person making pizza. He was extremely slow (5 mins for 1 simple pizza). A co worker was behind him folding boxes (already a huge stack) and another co worker walking around wiping already clean tables. They should have helped him to speed up the line. The tables were sticky(wiped the tables with a gross cloth) but the food was good. read more

Went there last night for dinner. They were pretty fast despite being super busy. Ordered 4 pizzas, watched them make them so I knew they were made right. But I should of checked to make sure they boxed up the right ones. Once I was home and opened all the boxes, 2 of the pizzas were wrong. Super slow service even when it's not crowded. They only had one employee taking the order then putting the pizza together during the lunch rush. The person in front of me in line ordered 4 pizzas and it took forever . Got tired of waiting and left. They need to have more than one person at the station when someone orders multiple pizzas and then has to decide on toppings for each one, etc. Their pizzas are good but not worth waiting that long for. They need to take a lesson in the assembly line from Henry Ford (or Papa Murphy's). read more

We like the pizza, but the place is always jammed. To go is worse- ...the type of pizza they serve gets too cold on the way home and the crust is really best fresh. They'd have higher stars if they weren't so packed all the time, but I suppose it's a good thing for them:) read more

Every time we go here it's packed. We love the BBQ Chicken pizza, The Caspian, and a salad. The bread sticks are thin and tasty kinda like a cracker with a thick layer of Parmesan. The home made ding dong cupcakes are to die for. And they always have a yummy beer on tap. Super quick service. Didn't give a full 5 Stars because employees always are very cranky. I'm not exactly sure why anyone would give Mod Pizza five stars. It wasn't great, and I can't even say it was good. The dough is slightly thicker than a sheet of loose leaf paper - and tastes about the same. The initial scoop of sauce barely covered my Mini. I had to ask for more. It didn't really make a difference, because there was so much cheese that I couldn't taste anything else. It was so thin that I couldn't pick it up. And other than the burn spots on the bottom, the dough didn't taste cooked. Very disappointed. If Kennewick and Richland are going to add yet another pizza joint, can't it at least be a good one? I've come to the conclusion that the people of Tri-Cities are accustomed to the mediocre food that is served everywhere around here and don't really know what good tasting food is. Price is good and pizza is tasty (wood fired). You build your pizza Subway style. Staff is friendly. I waited 25 minutes in the buffet style ordering line before giving my order. As I placed my order, they ran out of white sauce and just stood there apologizing. You would figure at noon they would have back up stock and sauce handy. Two of my pizzas were off the menu but they kept asking if I wanted an item on the pizza even though it was written by on order sheet. Once you get to the cashier, we had our pizzas in about 6 minutes. Best bet is to call well ahead, order your pizza, and go directly to the cashier. Avoid both the now well documented long wait time line and the pizza makers asking what I already told the order taking person. read more

I love wood-fired pizza and this is a place for a quick pizza fix. Think Subway in the pizza sense and you have Mod. You add your favorite "fixings" just like Subway and pay a fair amount ending up with a damn fine average meal. Hard working staff! Great pizza! Terrible online ordering. Every single time I order, we arrive at pick up time and wait in the car 30+ minutes for the pizza to be ready. This creates so much stress on your staff because customers are unhappy. I love your pizza, but can choose from 100 different restaurants that will have the food ready when I arrive. Please fix your online ordering, so if you are slammed with orders, it pushes the pick up time later to be realistic. read more

Four stars mostly because of affordability. For me, this could have easily been a three-star meal, but $8 is a great price for a totally filling dinner. The food was good, as it normally is, but the way some employees spoke to myself and my family was quite rude when I went 7/31 around 3 ish. The one lady making my moms salad was irritating me. She talked to my mother as if she were speaking to a child. So incredibly rude. She spoke down to my mom like if my mom didn't know what she wanted on her salad. Every employee looked like they didn't want to be there. Except for the first boy that talked to us and started my mom off he was very sweet. I had to call the store twice and was told that someone would bring my order out. i waited 20 minutes before i had to go back to work without my lunch. I even ordered ahead of time and still they never got to my order. tonight i ordered dinner at 3:00 PM for a 4:30 PM pick up, PLENTY of time to give them! when i showed up at 4:30 they hadn't even started it. Pizza is so so but better than other big pizza chains. They press the dough with a large press (fast) rather than pull it by hand. This keeps the CO2 in dough from making the crust airy. It is a good deal and probably cheaper than an old fast food burger. Just go in knowing it is fast food. read more

The food and service here are amazing! I took my mom yesterday afternoon and they accidentally burned the crust on her pizza. Not only did they give us that pizza anyway, but they also made her another one AND gave us a coupon for a free pizza on our next visit! Called in for carry out for their opening night. Showed up to a huge crowd as you would expect. During the chaos my pizza was dropped. I was very pleased with how they handled. Awful service from the beginning. Ridiculous wait times. Pizza was not even made the way I ordered and all the ingredients I ordered was written on the paper the WRONG pizza came on even...and it was extremely burnt. I called to have it fixed and the person who took my call refused to even help. When I finally asked for the managers information, I was rudely spoken to. Appalled you treat your customers this way and refused to even replace our order or ask what the problem even was....DEFINITELY won't be going back. I LOVE this place. You really can't beat a restaurant that allows this level of customizability. The pizzas are thin crust which is my preference for pizza. The array of toppings offered is astounding. And I particularly enjoy the artisanal sodas they offer. I was introduced to MOD Pizza by my brother and his family. We went there to support a soccer fundraiser. I ordered the MOD pizza and was pretty stoked to be able to add my own toppings. The food was EXCELLENT and I had leftovers the next day. I told my husband about our experience and the following weekend I took my family there. I had the Cesar salad and garlic crisps. OMG, it was awesome. The line may look long when you get there but it moves quickly and is with the wait. read more

Good pizza, long lines. If you're planning on some quick take out, avoid busy times. They don't have a separate take out line and if you want to order online you have to pay online, you can't order and pay when you arrive.
