We had a small birthday gathering for my 16 year old daughter a couple of weeks ago. I brought in a cake and what was needed to serve it but we bought dinner and drinks for all of her friends. The staff was so kind! From giving me a coupon for a free future meal because my total was somewhat substantial to lending me a lighter for birthday candles to offering my daughter a free birthday milkshake. Have never had a bad pizza from here. People are very nice and the atmosphere is always welcome to bring friends to catch up over pizza. The workers are very friendly and efficient despite constant business it seems. Only thing I would like to see changed is another type of marinara without mozzarella cheese, as some non-dairy alternatives for such a universal sauce is desired by many, I would feel. read more

Y'all, this place is so delicious for the price. Whether you get pizza or a salad, it's amazing!! I'm never disappointed! The most amazing thing about this place is really the salad. I mean, you can order a mini salad - it'll cost you less than $5, you can get whatever toppings you want, AND fill you up! Their honey lime dressing is my favorite - I always ask for extra sauce, hehe. Also, it's located in the perfect area. Once you're done shopping, you can come in and enjoy yourself a made on demand pizza/salad. The only reason I give this a four star is because sometimes the staff just look miserable. They look so mean, intimidating, and unhappy! Then I feel super awkward about asking for more than two toppings because the aura they emit is "don't ask for any more toppings" or "are you done yet?!?" Stop the Presses!!! As a native Chicagoan girl pizza rivals only to an dipped beef. I've found living as a Navy family good pizza is hard to come by. I had all but given up hope for the Puget Sound area. I ran across a review here after driving past and decided to take a gander. It was very busy when we stopped by. They are still working out the kinks so I gave them a pass for the employee slightly angry banter that was going on Friday night. They moved fast, have a lot of choices and you can tell every one was excited to try out the food. I love the crust (Brick oven YES!) the bubbles = great crust. They have more than a handful of drink choices adult and kid friendly. The taste of my very garlic pizza was just the way I like it, not saturated with sauce. It was merely dressed up a little with some roasted whole garlic, spinach and bacon. We also had a family salad, for as plain as it was it hit the spot. I loves the space too. It allowed everyone to congregate, definitely a nice change. Great place to go for a crowd friendly spot. If they get some t.v's in there it will surely be a game night hangout. read more

The food was simply excellent, and the service was just as good. The inside is a bit noisy, but the patio is very pleasant and relaxing. It is hard to find a criticism to offer. Here's my best shot: I want them to let me buy a "raw" pie on the way out the door. I know it won't be as good as in-house when I get it home and fire it for my husband later that evening. But it will still be good -- a long way better than any pizza I can buy in the freezer or deli section of the supermarket. But Mod won't sell uncooked pizza. Really tasty, fast pizza. It is definitely not your typical pizza place where you order a large greasy pizza for carryout. Instead you walk down a bar (similar to Subway) and tell them how you want the pizza. Then they cook it in the brick oven right in front of you. It's super fast as long as the line isn't really long, which is common during typical peak hours. The pizza itself is unique too because the crust is thinner and the toppings are all fresh. They also have some delicious fountain lemonades. It's a great place to have in Silverdale. read more

Can't say enough good things about MOD. We all love the choices and ability to customize our pizza. They truly shine for my youngest son. He is allergic to dairy and they carry shredded soy cheese. When I asked the young lady to take care not to cross-containment his pizza, she went so far beyond the call of duty. She not only changed her gloves and walked his pizza all the way through the line herself, she made it completely using ingredients from below the line and ensured that they used a fresh pizza cutter at the end. They are willing to work with you and are so friendly. The pizza is definitely the best in town and it will fill you up. Kind of a different eating experience. Kind of like Subway in the way of ordering. Wait in line, order off menu or build your own pizza. If you going during the busy times, wait can be long to order but your pizza comes out 5-10 mins later after you pay. For me the pizza is ok. But not amazing. I would go again. I really like this place. It's got a different take on pizza, in that you pick your size and can add whatever toppings and additions you want without adding extra fees. Each size has a base set price and it stays that set price no matter how many topping options you add to it. Little pricier than most other chain pizza places, but I feel with the number of customization options with no extra topping fees, it balances out. It's always fresh because it's made right there after you make it up, and it's cooked in a large stone oven style. If you go during dinner rush hours the line will be a wait, but the staff work through the lines as quickly and efficiently as possible. Don't go if you see more than a couple people in line , all you get is a pissy staff that doesn't like to actually do their job , I ordered a pizza, garlic bread, and a deluxe salad .... it was almost as if because I was by myself they didn't want to make all of that ..... as my pizza was made first things weren't all the bad but the second they thought I was done and I figured that a little spinach would be complimentary I got a set of rolled eyes ..... then the lady pushes my pizza to the side not even giving me time to ask for the garlic bread so I let the guy know I want the bread ... yells across the way and I'm asked what dipping sauce I reply red sauce, now with that out the way all the dude had to do was make a salad that is clearly on the wall of what goes in the salad .... dude didn't put half of what was in it I asked doesn't it come with tomatoes veggies etc etc .... in reply I got a stack of four tomatoes plopped on top and a "is that good enough" at that point I was ready to back hand the dude so I let it be..... get home to eat and the pizza was undercooked and even worse no sauce for the damn bread ..... come on man y'all know life requires sauce ..... like I say unless see them lazy fools standing around don't go because I've had some good food their before read more

When MOD pizza first opened in Silverdale the service was impeccable. The entire staff was friendly and appeared to have loved their job. Unfortunately it has slowly started to change - not for the good either! I'm vegan so I've been happy to be able to enjoy a pizza - marinara has no cheese and they have DF cheese so double bonus! The past two visits have been unpleasant - they've seemed irritated that I ask they switch gloves to not cross contaminate or if they can make sure not to pick veggies that cheese or meat has spilled into. I have ordered from this place many times and I always get the MOD sized pizza. Tastes Great! My problem has to do with the payment system. The payment system is horrible. You could order a mega mod and only pay the price of the smallest pizza. There was a customer in front of me who ordered a gluten free MOD sized pizza and when the cashier asked what they ordered he said "a MOD pizza". That was it! Not gluten free at all! I really love the concept of this place: build your own pizza, all priced by size and not by number of toppings, and completely customizeable. That's great. However, I often find that the employees are trying so hard to get their customers through the line as fast as possible, that they don't always catch everything that has been said to them. The last few times I have been in, they're moving their food through so fast that my husbands pizza, and my own, were undercooked. The last time we were in, we specifically asked that our order be left in longer to ensure that it was cooked properly through, and when we arrived home (it was a to-go order), I still had to turn our oven on to finish cooking our food. Honestly, I don't totally blame the employees: I get the feeling that, as a large corporation, there is some sort of company policy in place about how fast orders need to be completed. In any case, it will be a few months before I give them another go: I was pretty pissed that I had to finish cooking my food last time I ordered from them. read more
