The service and food here are EXCELLENT! As a vegetarian, I was especially surprised. As soon as I said that I want a veggie pizza, the server offered to use a cleaned cutting utensil. When I requested for more sauce, they gladly put more on. When I was waiting for the pizza, the cutter was extra nice and conversational. She even gave me a new sauce to try on the side. This is dangerously close to my neighborhood. For a Saturday night, I was surprised it wasn't packed. Word might not yet have gotten out about this family-friendly joint. The service is friendly, which is a definite must with indecisive kids in tow. I think what I love about the MOD chain is that they are consistent with their pizza-making. They actually take the time to spread the ingredients around evenly. Who knows if the food is any good. I placed an order at 4:00 PM. Estimated delivery was 45 minutes. One hour later my food hadn't arrived so I called. They sent the driver to the wrong address (I double checked my emailed confirmation, and it had the correct address). They said they would update the delivery, but the driver was at least 30 minutes away with traffic. Not paying $40 for pizza cooked over an hour ago. Save youself the grief and order from somewhere else if you weant delivery. read more

I hate to be that guy, but nothing compared to blaze pizza. It's the exact same concept, subway for pizza. The prices are the same as blaze and it's in a better location than blaze. I love the vibe you get there, I like the value, but the taste did not compare to blaze. I would say it's more "rustic" than blaze, but it tasted more bland to me. Less flavors. If you're not as picky when it comes to pizza, give it a try. It's a good value but I would tel you to try blaze. read more

I saw a customer ask for a pizza to be remade for some reason. Employee agreed and asked for the pizza to be remade. Many of the staff proceeded to mock the customer's reasoning. The employee at the oven simply took the pizza in question, asked for ingredients to be put on top and said, "hurry before she notices and comes back" This was appalling. Two other customers in line noticed this and comments to each other. One couple chose to leave. A few minutes later, as I waited for my pizza, I noticed the same employee at the oven kicking the mesh trays pizzas are made on into a corner. GROSS! I assume those will be used for pizza dough. Even washed, I don't expect that meets health code in any way. I don't know the customer's reason. It may have been allergy, cleanliness, religion...either way, if a customer asks and is offered a new pizza, they should get it. If I didn't have kids with me tonight, I would have said something and made sure the staff knew how unprofessional and disrespectful they were. You lost customers tonight. read more

First time here and it was GOOD. When we walked in, we were greeted and asked if we've ever been there. He explained to us that we only pay for the size of the pizza and you can add any and as much toppings as you want, for the same price! I got a mini, perfect size for a small girl like me. They have selections with their choice of toppings or you can build your own, me and my bf chose to build our own. TBH, some of the ingredients could use a little more flavor, like their tomato sauce and spicy sausages, but other than that, I enjoyed our pizzas. They also have sauces for when you go pick up your pizza when it's ready; they'll ask if you want it on the pizza or on the side. Staff was too laid back. The girl behind the counter was too busy on her phone smoking a vape to even great me as I walked in. I did come in 1hr before closing, but still the business is still opened. Staff should not be rolling eyes at those coming in during the night. I had a quick easy order togo, was nice not picky, yet I still was treated poorly. Didn't get a thank you or have a good night. The pizza itself is decent. They always seem to significantly burn about half of the crust. Not the normal fire oven char, but straight over cooked/hard/too crunchy black crust. I only come here because I prefer a specific sauce most pizza places do not have. However, since I'm able to get it at Pepperoni's across the street, I will no longer personally visit MOD. My suggestion for management is to just professionalize the staff more and adopt better customer service values. You need to break the social norms that are starting to form. Having rude/careless employees will ruin the business either now or later. *Updated because my last experience wasn't any different than the last. I ordered tonight from MOD Pizza. We ordered 3 pizzas. My husband and son's was ok, but mine was terrible. My crust was raw and doughy, but the toppings and cheese were over done. My basil was almost black and only the bottom layer of the crust was cooked. I always order from them and this time I was really disappointed with my pizza. First of all, the customer service of the people behind the counter was fantastic. I really like this place...service is always fast, and relatively friendly. The vibe here reminds me of what Freebirds used to be like, years ago....energetic, free spirited college kids behind the counter. That's a major plus. The pizzas & toppings are solid, and the no name cakes are delicious! My only gripe about MOD is that they are literally afraid to cook a pizza "well done", even when you SAY cook it well done. I hate hovering near the oven, telling them over & over to put my pizza back in bc it's nowhere near done. However I recognize that in the grand scheme of things, that's a very trivial gripe to have. This pizza was good but the service was so bad it's hard to give it 3 stars. We walked in just after lunch time on a Thursday, so, the place was empty. We attempted to begin the order for our children's pizza and the worker immediately fired off "Are you all sharing one pizza?!" My husband and I have no idea what brought him to the conclusion that two adults and two children would share their smallest pizza. Either way, it was strange and somewhat offensive. We continued ordering the rest of our pizzas. My pizza was rushed and I couldn't order everything I wanted. I looked down at the toppings for a minute (by the way, they were not labeled correctly) and looked back up and my pizza was going into the oven. The worker made a comment about gloves after my husband ordered anchovies (perhaps he found it inconvenient to change his gloves). There was no one in line behind us. As a previous reviewer noted, not much is expected when the staff appears so young, however, their attitudes would be unacceptable if it were my business. My husband wanted to walk out within two minutes or walking in. While the concept and quality of the pizza are nice, we will likely not return to this location. read more

I have Never order from mods pizza before this was the first time, when I called order in I was told that the pizza that I order was large. When I recieved the pizza at the office I recieve what look like Medium pizza Called the store back and I explain to them about the pizza , the manager got on the phone and explain to me that he was sorry that he would take care of me put my order back in again. This used to be our Friday night treat. The last time we went we ordered it go. One salad and two pizzas. The salad and one of the pizzas had chicken. Once we made it home and opened up the food with chicken.... OMG. It smelled rancid! My husband took a small bite just to make sure we weren't crazy and he said it was awful!!! Thank goodness I hadn't started eating my salad, I am pregnant. I immediately called the store to alert them. The manager said no one else complained but she "would look into it". The food here is great and the salads too. The mod size pizzas are almost like a medium pizza from another pizza place. I usually get the mini. When they say "unlimited toppings," they really mean it. The salad is good to. What I love is that you take part in what goes into you pizza so that if you don't like it, it's your own fault.
